Boat trips head off daily to the Puffin isles of Staffa and Lunga. One of Scotland's top tourist attractions - the Isle of Iona and its Abbey is a few miles away. Maida's cottage is situated on the edge of the village of Ford, close to Loch Ederline. There is a private driveway to the cottage with a farm gate to keep the sheep on the hill. There is ample parking and a gated/fenced private garden. Although on the edge of the village, Maida's cottage feels remote with a rather stunning backdrop. There are many hills to walk. There is no TV or WiFi, this is a cosy getaway from hectic lives so sit back and enjoy the log fire with a good book.

Garden Caravan

Our cosy caravan is set within our garden with views across to Ben More and the Burg from the comfort from the living room window. We are so lucky here on the Ross of Mull to be amongst lots of amazing wildlife from golden eagles, sea eagles and hen harriers to the resident red deer, seals and otters. We are just two miles away from some of the most beautiful white sandy beaches in the Hebrides, perfect for a picnic in summer and equally dramatic for a walk on a stormy day!

Garramor Cottage is a modern, one bedroom house . The living room is bright and airy with french doors leading out to the deck and woods beyond. Surrounded by trees, it is a very calm and peaceful setting. It is a 5 mile drive to Mallaig where you can get the ferry across to Skye. Local beaches such as Camusdarach Beach with their white sands are great to explore and just a short walk away.
