The Silo was finished in Nov 2018. We’ve been renovating this old 1950’s dairy barn/silo since 2013. The Silo has 4 floors and the top 2 are yours! There’s a sitting area on the third floor (and bath). The bedroom is at the very top with windows all around and 360°view ! Also your own private deck off the bedroom.

Just a 40 second drive to the New River Public access where you can enjoy fishing, tubing, kayaking etc., The small town of Independence is just 15 minutes away, convenient for groceries, restaurants and rental of kayaks etc., Visit Grayson Highlands National Park for hiking and spot wild ponies.

This Passport model trailor/ house is for outdoor enthusiast. Our tastefully remodeled 1956 trailor/ house surrounded by 50 of the most beautiful acres in Grayson county. Spectacular southern views of mountains in Allegheny and Ashe county, North Carolina. There is no WiFi but good cell phone signal is available all over property including 4G. You will find plenty of restaurants and bars in Independence, VA and Sparta, NC but we have found that once you arrive you don't want to leave.

Come stay in our peaceful cabin with sweeping views of the New River and the blue ridge mountain range! Nestled in the mountains, we built this cabin back in 2017 as a family. As you enter our home, you can see photos of the process. We are a big family and having a central place to meet has been so special to us. We are 7 minutes away from the New River and nearest boat ramp.
