Built in 1897 to house the horses of Halton Lodge this impressive dwelling enjoys a quiet spot close to the center of the bustling village of Hurstpierpoint. Self-contained with its own entrance and parking bay, this is perfect for a country getaway. The village, at the foot of the South Downs, is ideal for walking and cycling and has an award-winning pub and lovely cafés. For more excitement, Brighton. Lewes and Glyndebourne are all around 20 minutes away and London less than an hour. Hassocks has direct trains to the capital and Brighton, and is a five-minute taxi ride. The large double glazing doors allow you to make the most of sunlight, you are in the sunniest spot of the garden! Further down you have the beautiful Hurstpierpoint, Ditchiling and Lewes, if you fancy more action, Brighton is 10 minutes away. FULLY HEATED for colder days.

Our pod, glamping with a view

Our timber clad garden pod is up-market glamping, with a view to the Downs. Close to Brighton, approached down a farm track, with a walk across fields to the village. On sunny days, open up the folding sliding doors and enjoy a drink on the decking. The wood burner in the picture is sadly faulty, so can't be used at the moment. There are coffee and tea making facilities, but not for cooking. That’s why it’s only available for a few magical days at a time.
