This place was 10/10! I loved every bit of it! The view was AMAZING!!! The pool was so clean and pretty! The house was so clean and beautiful ! I honestly can’t say anything bad!!! My family and i all feel the same way about this beauty!

The stay was great. We loved the house, the welcome and especially the pool !! The sea view was superb and swimming with the magnificent sea view on one side and a view of the beautiful house on the other side was great. Everything was perfect, the towels present in number, the beds and the welcome and the presence of Rogelio and his family when needed. In addition, the information from Elisa was very useful. A wonderful stay!

Really a breathtaking view and beautiful setting for total relaxation! Elisa is a great host who will take care of you the whole stay. Do not hesitate to ask anything. We had local women cooking for us which was arranged for us in forehand. They prepared a local lobstermeal, just as we asked. We cooked many times ourselves and the kitchen was well equipped. And if you don't have a car, they can shop for you and allways brings you the reciept. The place is up high and the road is steep. The villa felt secure and the guardian will help you with anything. We had one problem with the pipes and it was resolved in couple of hours. The nearest beach, Playa Coson, was amazing, we found it best of the Las Terrenas' beaches. Highly recommend! Absolutely 5 stars.

Gorgeous house. Everything we hoped it would be. The animals on the property were great. Sweet and friendly. The hill we had to climb to get to the house is quite steep. We had a regular car rental and had a little trouble at first, but just put it in low and we didn't have any trouble after we figured that out. If you are coming from Santa Domingo, it's just over $1000 pesos, so around $20 USD, in tolls. There's a bank money exchange as soon as you get into the airport (make sure to look for fees since the bank doesn't have them, but AmEx does) so you'll want to at least trade off that much to get to the house. We didn't find better exchange rates through the rest of the vacation. Nice touches like fresh fruit and drinks left in the refrigerator. Water cooler provided. No laundry detergent so bring that or buy a little if you are going to wash while you are there. Line dry outside in hours if there isn't rain. The house is very inviting and the back area by the pool is where we spent most of our time while we were there. The view is just amazing and such a nice area. Don't miss the beach restaurants. You won't find a lot of people to speak English. Those that do are not fluent so if you learn a little Spanish you'll be much better off. This was my first trip to the DR and I will definitely be returning.

2nd time staying at Elisa’s place. Enjoyed my stay. Very clean and safe. Only issue was the amount of ants inside the home but expected since you are surrounded by nature. Would recommend this place if looking for a nice view.

We had a wonderful stay at Elisa’s place. The house is airy and modern, and the ocean view is so beautiful. Elisa is a very thoughtful host. Before our trip, she reached out to me to make sure the house had everything we needed. Per our request, she arranged the guardian’s wife and daughter to prepare dinner for us on the day we arrived. We loved their cooking and ended up having multiple meals prepared by them. Elisa’s sister’s family was vacationing in the villa next door and we spent a lot of time together, and celebrated new year together with an Italian feast and fireworks. Our kids also have become fast friends. Everything is five stars. Thank you so much for the memories. We hope to visit again.

Myself and my husband stayed at this amazing place for 3 nights and we had the best of our times. Everything in connection with the house was spotless. It looks even better then the pictures and for how it feels you will have to come and experience and we very highly recommend it. The owner Jose is a great person who really cared we had everything to make our stay excellent. When we arrived the fridge was full, so the only think we could care was the ocean and the Sun. It is one of the very rear places that is so close to the sea and it was a joy to wake up with the sound of the ocean every day. Jose's Assistant Amaury was also great and provided us great guidance for local amenities and transport. We would definitely like to come back and stay at Jose's house again.

Everything was perfect. The house is rustic and has a very unique energy. It has privacy, comfort and love and is very elegant. José was very attentive, we felt at home.

This location is absolutely spectacular. You cannot get any closer to the beach without getting yourself wet! The hut is very comfortable and has a lot of character, and the amenities (refrigerator, stove, blender) are a very nice addition. Jose's staff were excellent as well; we were able to easily coordinate airport pick-up and drop-off and had a mid-week cleaning and restocking of the fridge. I would highly recommend staying here over any of the nearby resorts. The location is charming, the staff were extremely helpful, and cost is inviting. I look forward to returning!

We had a phenomenal time in the hut. It was hard to leave! You’re right on top of the ocean and can sleep to the crashing waves with everything you need right there in the place. They were very responsive to everything I needed, especially during check in. We would definitely return if we are in the area again.

This place is exactly as it looks on the photos and is highly recommended. You will be waking up to an amazing view and be even closer to the beach than the luxurious resorts around, which feels quiet exceptional! If you are coming in winter months (I visited in February, weather perfectly fine) though, you may want to rent a car and to explore more and go to restaurants rather than cooking at home (for which all kitchen equipent is provided by the host, by the way) as the house is located in a small town.

What a view! The view alone is worth the price of staying there. Walking into the apartment your breath is immediately taken away. The private beaches are some of the most gorgeous I've ever seen anywhere. Our stay was unfortunately cut short because coronavirus outbreak. We had to cut our vacation short. Of course Jorge was very understanding and extremely helpful through the hectic time. I can't wait to go back and finish or vacation once things settle back to normal. Thank you, Jorge for all your help.

Breathtaking views from all rooms of the apartment. The property is beautiful. We had the option to cook or to walk down to the restaurant, which ended up being very convenient and became an everyday thing. Food was great. Jorge’s place is clean and we would return again. If you are a beach goer, be prepared for a bit of a walk as the property sits high on the mountain. The views are incredible tho, and the left side of the beach is calm and clear. Pool is lovely and nice and clean.

Location! Location! Location! This place has is in the perfect location for people that are looking to doing a lot of traveling throughout the Samana Bay! The place is very beautiful and has the best view in town. In all this place is worth every peso.

My family and I definitely love the place !!! I had a beautiful landscape. The restaurant, reception and other services employees were very friendly. The apartment was very clean, tidy and with the amenities described.

The apartment is located in a complex with absolutely stunning views, 2 amazing pools and Jacuzzi overlooking amazing ocean and mountain views. The beach is nice and private. Definitely recommend it especially in off season. Its close enough to Samana but not in the busy hustle, has a very private calm feel.

Where the hell do I start? You guys need to stop what you’re doing and book this place RIGHT now! It is incredible and honestly the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at (and I use Airbnb a lottttt). Everything was super clean, the bed is super comfy and that terrace y’all... just stunning. This is my new go to place in Santo Domingo - that’s for sure. Thanks so much Tony! :)

Tory’s place was very clean and had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The terrace is amazing and there is a great restaurant right across the street that’s open in the evenings. The building was secured with a doorman. Just be prepared to walk up 6 flights of steps:)

I highly recommend Vera’s home. Perfect location to beach and good restaurants. We love the beach but we don’t like all inclusive resorts so this was a perfect way to get away. The home was immaculate and the neighborhood is very safe. Walking distance to a very clean and safe village with coffee shops and restaurants. Further down the road is Bachata Rosa. That was our favorite restaurant. Beach was amazing and excellent friendly service!

A great clean place with access to the best beaches in about 10min by car. I love the Village, this place is right for you if you want to have an exclusive vacation and not an all inclusive resort experience which I don’t like.

Our stay at Sotogrande condos was fantastic. If you are looking for a quiet beach getaway then this is the spot. We spent 5 nights here and barely saw anyone or heard any noise. The pool was practically ours for most of the days. The apartment is very well organized, clean and the view is spectacular (sunrise ocean view). Leonardo picked us up from the airport and gave us a quick tour of the area before heading to the apartment. Things to note: There's no restaurant at Sotogrande and you will definitely need to rent a car if you are going out of Cap Cana. Taxi rates in Cap Cana range from $3-6 dollars. But if you are leaving Cap Cana they range between $30-45. There are lots of good restaurants in Cap Cana and also a mini market just outside but the minimarket isn't sufficient to be honest. Make sure to reserve a car before arriving otherwise you will be hit with steep prices. The beach at Sotogrande is small and we suggest that you visit Juanillo beach and definitely spend time at API beach club in the Marina. Scape Park is also a highlight of the area (although pricey). Make sure to brush up on your Spanish or use a translation app since many locals don't speak English.

My friend and I had a great stay at Antonio’s place. The apartment is spacious and provided with everything you need. The location is great, 20 min from the airport, next to the beach and there’s a supermarket and restaurants nearby. Communication with Antonio was quickly and clear, check in and check out was very easy and we were able to contact him throughout our stay. Definitely recommend this place!

The place is beautiful, we have stayed in Cap Cana multiple times and now have found another hidden gem - although Cap Cana as a whole is a hidden gem. The apartment is classy and thoughtful- his and hers matching nightgowns, welcome basket are all the things which make it special. And the view each moment from the balcony is incredible- soak up every moment and then longe by the pool which is well maintained and very big for floating around on a nice inflatable bed :-) overall very impressed with the complex and the apartment would recommend.

Absolutely breathtaking!! This place is a must if you are looking for a quiet private beach vacation! Antonio and Alejandro were the most amazing hosts I have ever had-I have never experienced such hospitality! Everything is top notch- no detail is missed! 10/10 will be back to stay here again!

Beautiful! We loved this loft apartment, it is exactly as it looks in the photos and much better. The communication with our host was excellence was always attentive, Alejandro, Antonio's father, received us in a very special way, with a large tray of different delicious fruits, and what was necessary for our first days. I have never experienced such great hospitality in my life, Alejandro was amazing. He is super friendly, responses super fast, is always willing to help, takes you personally to your room. The place look like in the pictures, is a really nice place to expend somedays and relax. I had a great week in this property even with all concerns due to the corona virus. The beach and marina near y are stunning.

Can't say enough good things about our stay at Carlos & Julissa's bungalow. It is ideally located close to many sites, attractions, the airport and the community is very safe!! Juanillo beach which is very close by is incredible and a must visit. The property is very close to the new Blue mall which has great restaurants and the new supermarket. All amazing! The bungalow is very spacious inside and out with very high cathedral ceilings and a huge indoor/outdoor bathroom. Lots of huge windows and glass doors which allow a lot of sunshine into the space. They have blackout curtains on all windows and doors if you need to sleep in late after a long night. The bungalow has huge sliding glass doors that fully open onto the lanai where you have your own private pool, lounge chairs and outside dining area and gas grill. One thing worth mentioning is that this property is elevated above the newer properties being developed in the community. looking out from the back yard you have a great view of Cap Cana/ Punta Cana and you get amazing cool breezes coming off the ocean all day long. This made for a great day whether eating breakfast or just sitting by the pool getting sun. We had a little problem on the day of our check-in. It was Friday evening and we bought some groceries late at night. We went to put the groceries away and noticed the fridge was not working. Regretfully, we contacted Julissa/Carlos at 10PM. I felt bad that I had not noticed this earlier and had to bother them at this late hour. Gracious hosts that they are, they promptly brought us a small refrigerator to hold us over so our groceries would not spoil. The very next day Carlos replaced the fridge with another full size refrigerator. We all know that things can and will go wrong, but it's how you handle the situation when things go wrong that matter. Thank you Carlos and Julissa for being such great hosts, thank you for being available, responsive and for making this an amazing stay. We had a great time staying at your bungalow and I intend to be back before the end of the year and will be sure to refer you to friends and family.

My husband and I went there for a weekend for our aniversary. The place was awesome! Very neat, and everything as described. The only complains we had were that there was a water leak on the wood ceiling (only noticeable if it rains a lot) that made us slide dangerously a few times and we needed to clean it up with a mop everytime. The other thing is that it would be awesome if the bathtub outside was heated, because the water was too cold to enjoy the tub and we couldn’t really enjoy it at all. Other than that the place was very quiet, clean, had everything we needed, the pool was very clean and everything looked spotless! Would definetely go again in the future!

Loved our stay here. So beautiful and everything is provided. Hosts were easy to reach and accommodating. Highly suggest renting a car as nothing is within walking distance. Even getting off the compound requires a vehicle. I guess the perk for some would be the peace, quiet, and seclusion.

This is one of the most beautiful places Ive ever stayed in. I appreciate the hospitality and how clean it was. The pictures do not do justice to how beautiful this location really is. I plan to come back next year around the same time but for much longer. I had a great time with family and friends with life lasting memories. Tony Thank You again. P.S. The house was amazing! It's in a great location, the views are spectacular, Everything was super clean-the rooms are great, there is not a bad room (all have a full private bathroom). Would totally stay there again and recommend to all that have a trip to samana. It was a little awkward to have people in, out and around the the house at all times. If you are looking for privacy, you won't get that here. (There was a grounds keeper that stays on the front porch all day- he is very helpful and friendly but felt odd - constantly watched). The house keeper would also stick around even if there was nothing for her to do. But she was also friendly and helpful.

Wow! Unbelievable! Amazing! Fantastic! We went on a couples trip and had the time of our lives. The pictures don’t do this place justice. Luis and all of the staff are amazing. They’re super welcoming and just make you feel safe and at home. You must visit!

We had an amazing time. The villa is everything we expected and it truly does have a million dollar view. It is also within 20 minutes of Las Terranas with all of its Domincan charm and amazing beaches. The house maid and the grounds keeper are amazing people who were very helpful and made out stay more enjoyable. Communication with Tony was exceptional and very helpful as well. For example he arranged a taxi when we required one. This would be great an extended family looking for a peaceful get-a-way. Highly recommended!!

Really a Wow villa! We go to Samana every month and we’ve been to many Airbnb places and this house has become probably our favourite. Everything is perfect, better than expected. The house is super big and confortable, ideal for a big group. Beds are very good, shift bedding. Kitchen is well equipped and everything is sparking clean. The pool and the view is just amazing. We were a large group with kids and everybody loved it, we didn’t want to leave. Tony was very helpful and Luis too. Just be aware that you need a 4x4 car to get there.

This place was amazing, I’d definitely come back. The check-in process was smooth and Instructions on everything was sent, even recommended places we could visit. Everything was in close proximity and it was super safe because you’d have to pass two security entrance to get to the home.

Carlos and Julissa were so open with communication and providing details for the house and suggestions for where to go in Punta Cana!! Wally's Villa is awesome. It is very clean and well equipped for every need. If you have any problems, Rogelio is there for you. Each little problem we had was fixed quickly. The view is great, jumping into the pool with the sun shining is awesome. The beach is in walking distance (like 10 minutes) and it is wonderful. It looks like paradise! And it's almost empty. Samana itself is a wonderful region. But you might want to rent a car. We didn't rent a car but Rogelio organzied every ride we needed. Unfortunately, we sometimes had problems with electricity and running water. But as I said, Rogelio always took care of it very quickly. Before we even went to Wallys Villa, Wally was there for every dumb question I had. She told us about daily needs, trips and organized our transfer to her Villa. Overall I would highly recommend Wallys Villa!

Wally's place was absolutely amazing. Everything was spectacular from the views, house was super clean and all the way down to the small touches with having candles lit for us to have a romantic feel. This home location made my last minute trip worth every penny. I appreciate Wallys quick response and also appreciate Rogelio our house keeper for always making sure we had everything we needed.

Amazing place, paradise on earth: the landscape with the palms, the beach and the infinity pool make an incredible combination. It is ideal to rest, vacation, share with family or friends. At night the sound of the sea, the stars, the moon is spectacular, tooodo is beautiful. I went with my family and received excellent attention from Wally and Don Rogelio. The house has everything you need: the well-equipped kitchen (they even put coffee, salt, pepper, olive oil, water, sugar and fruits), entertainment (board games, a TV, a Bluetooth speaker), the rooms with their bathrooms, towels and sheets. This becomes one of our favorite places and soon we will be back. 100% recommended.

The spectacular house, with a beautiful view, everything surpasses our expectations, the beautiful view, the sercania and fasil I advise the beach, the very well maintained swimming pool and the attention of Mr. Rogelio. We recommend Wally's house, and we would definitely go back again.

Waking up to singing birds, the sound of waves, blue skies, and sunny days was priceless. This place is really quiet and the accessibility you have to appreciate the pool in conjunction with the ocean view is astonishing. You can relax from the bedroom and admire all of this beauty straight from bed. Experience is definitely a must. Rogelio and his family make your stay much easier by guiding you through the town or doing the shopping for you. Will definitely recommend.

Perfect location in Bavaro! We walked everywhere. The beach and water are beautiful, very safe, tons of great restaurants and bars and markets in close walking distance. Very friendly staff and transportation provided which was nice.

My husband and I just got home from two weeks in this beautiful apartment on the white sand beach in Punta Cana. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, quiet, and ideally situated. The complex sits right on the beach, where there is a private area with palapas and beach chairs for the use of people in the complex. The large pool reopened while we were there. There are padded beach chairs and umbrellas around the pool for guests' use. There was room for everyone in each sunning space without feeling crowded. There are several small grocery stores within easy walking distance of the apartment and many restaurants. Communication with Silvia was very quick and easy. She is a joy to work with. I highly recommend this apartment for a couple looking for a completely relaxing break from real life!

Great stay makes you want to move out here modern beautiful apartment next to great food great service extremely accommodating I would give a ten star if I could my only complaint is we had to leave lol we will return only here it’s that nice .

The apartment was GREAT, everything you need is close enough (car 10-15 min, bike taxi less). Home was clean, pots, washer towels etc. There is a bus that will take you to and from the beach for free on weekends. Francisco is amazing he has everything literally prepared for you. From taxi options to rental suggestions. Everything was good!

Fantastic apartment on the beach and a huge roof terrace with amazing ocean views, good and quick response from hosts that can organise anything you want , we got groceries delivered and the only time we wore shoes was to go to an atm machine for money and try different restaurants , good ocean breeze through the apartment and the electricity we payed was very reasonable , thanks to vasiliy and his team , we would recommend this apartment for everyone

Great place, we had an amazing time!!! Beach is gorgeous!!! Vasiliy and Ana were just the best hosts ever. Do not pay attention about minor imperfections as the apartment is right on the beach (salt quickly destroys things so it is literally impossible for everything to be perfect). If you came for beautiful spacious place, beach and sun, you’re at the right place. Apartment is located centrally and you don’t need a car, everything is within walking distance. This place is highly recommended for its location, it is on the same beach, the view from the terrace is amazing and not to mention combining that with a BBQ at sunset. The room is very spacious and bright, the bed in the room is a bit stiff but nothing that prevents you from having a good time. There are bars, supermarkets and restaurants nearby. This is a great place to stay. It's on the beach, has a nice rooftop where you can hang out, and has everything you need. The view of the ocean is just stunning and a there are a lot of restaurants around.

Great location, literally steps from the beach. Check in was easy, Anna met me down stairs and showed me the place. The apartment was clean, comfortable and even has a washing machine which was great. There is plenty of parking available, restaurants, places to get fresh juices, coffee, the market and pharmacy are just a block away. Just be aware the apartment is on the 4th floor and there is no elevator. Anna has someone come and help me bring my suitcase up, which I really appreciate.

We had some lovely days in the apartment. It is perfectly located to experience the Old Town, there is a very pretty patio outside and security is high. And then there was silence. Etienne was easy to communicate with. There is a very well stocked supermarket with fresh bread five minutes walk away, the Nacional supermarket. We highly recommend watching a movie in the Colonial Gate 4d cinema, it was an amazing experience

Wonderful experience. Host Rafael responded quickly every time. Place was clean and very private,and nicely decorated, nice small swimming pool. House is 4 blocks away from Conde boulevard the center of Zona Colonial. A giant Sirena Supermarket is one block away with everything under the sun, just like in New York with a real pharmacy where you can buy anything you want including antibiotics without a prescription, Yeah that's Santo Domingo. At night area could be a little scary, if going party at night take a cab home. When i get my next vacation in a few months from now i will definitely rent this place again.

There’s a reason all the reviews are positive for this place. The location is mind blowing, it’s even closer to the sand than those pictures show, it sits in the beach. The part of the beach is perfect, clear blue waters, restaurants, convenience stores, bars, I will def be staying again.

I highly recommend this place. It is seconds from a very nice beach. Chair and umbrella service is complimentary and was always available. It is close to many different bars and great restaurants. Check-in was very easy. The light canceling blinds are also great when you want to sleep in a little bit. Would definitely go back.

The condo property is literally steps from the beachfront and the security on the property and at the beach is exceptional. The condo is clean and equipped with all the amenities. The restaurant and entertainment experience begins right at the end of the street and everything is accessible on foot. Every cuisine imaginable is right within the area, (Vegetarian, Dominican, Jamaican, Haitian, Mexican, Venezuelan, Fast Food and Indian) just to name a few. The real highlight of this experience are the host Darleny and beach attendant McKenzie! Darelny is always quick to respond and very accommodating when responding with special activities information and airport pick-up arrangements. McKenzie is a Prince! His soft spoken nature and professionalism are outstanding. Both are extremely service orientated. All in all I had a Fantastic experience. Saona and Catalina Island tours are a Must! I’m definitely going back next year. Thanks Darleny, Much Appreciated!

I cannot say enough great things about this villa. The house is absolutely gorgeous and full of personal and stylish touches. The heated Jacuzzi was definitely our favorite, with its beautiful views of the mountains. The house was spotless and Monera the house keeper made sure to always keep it that way. I would definitely recommend you try her cooking, she made Dominican breakfast for us one morning and it was delicious. Juan Carlos checked in with us regularly to make sure we were being taken care off, truly a great host . We fell in love with the place and can't wait to be back in a couple of months.

Beautiful place, so quiet and relaxing.

The house is fabulous, decorated with very good taste, and on arrival we were surprised by the magnificent Christmas decoration throughout the house. The terraces, the jacuzzi that the custodian Radames warmed us every night, television with Netflix, the super comfortable beds, the impeccable cleanliness, the beautiful and well-kept gardens, the wonderful views, a small paradise, an oasis of tranquility, the kitchen very well equipped and Morena has treated us with luxury, cleanliness, has collected everything. The barbecue is great at night ... we have finally spent three days of happiness. Thanks Juan, we will recommend it and we will return for sure.

This villa was AMAZING! The views are jaw dropping... very relaxing... the jacuzzi and outdoor area was were we spent most of our time!!! Radares and Morena, were very profesional and made sure our stay was great! Thanks Juan for everything!

Great stay for a beach vacation! The co-hosts are excellent and very responsive. We saw them on the property during our entire stay. They are available to help and answer anything for you. Fresh towels are provided daily, we stayed for one full week, so another cleaning was also provided during our stay. There’s a gentleman who will set up your beach loungers on the beach for you as well. The property is safe, secure and well maintained. You can walk from the property right onto the beach. Soles Beach Bar Restaurant is right on the beach as well, just next door. During our stay, they had live music one of the nights which we also enjoyed while having some food and drinks. There are many restaurants within walking distance. It’s completely safe to walk around, fear not! It’s common to see guys on motorcycles offering you a ride (motor taxis). We walked everywhere. There’s a really cool “food truck” stop called Foodies, about a 10 minute walk from the property. There are several options there for grabbing a bite. Our favorite restaurant overall was Grace House. It’s down a dirt road, so it doesn’t stand out immediately. Truly a hidden gem, highly recommended. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner there almost every day. Everything about the place - food, service, ambience (especially at night with all the lighting), is just beautiful. The food was better than any other restaurant in the area and surprisingly cheaper. The service staff are the owners, so they really care for the customers. A must visit. Note that it is CASH ONLY so come prepared. We had to run back to the room our first night there. They will total the bill in both Dominican Pesos and American Dollars. Easiest way to explain how to get there: it’s two lefts after the last security gate. Once you exit the last security gate, make a left at the end of that road. Continue walking until you see Supermarcato Irina straight ahead of you. Then make a LEFT down the dirt road (instead of following the paved road to the right). You will see Grace House just ahead on the left. Enjoy!

The apartment is clean and very well located for the beach and nearby bar and restaurants. What I liked most about staying here was that the location was great and had a ‘real-ness’ to it that you don’t get when staying in resorts. Staying here put in me into contact with some of local people which I really enjoyed - rather than being somewhere like a resort that whilst they can offer more luxury, they do often lack in character and you feel you could be anywhere. That wasn’t the case in this spot and I was able to get a feel for the place. Good vibes everywhere. Plus everything you need on your door step too. I really like staying here.

Friendly staff, great location, beautiful beach! I suggest you visit Super Pola Grocery Store first and buy supplies there (great deals). Both Bernardo and Nuria were very kind and helpful! Please ask them for recommendations. You must see the Natural Pool at Soana Island! Macao Beach was awesome too! Try to support the local economy by purchasing seashells, T-shirts, hats, art or anything to help the locals (get help from staff first). Awesome trip!

This apartment is an ideal space for a couple's rest, access to the beach deserves a 10/10. We really enjoyed the welcome of the first day, the suggestions to make some tours in a safe and reliable way, the security of the place and the silence at night to rest. Andrea is the icing on the Casa Phil cake! She is an AMAZING cook and the friendliest person we encountered. We were all very sad to leave her and simply can't sing her praises enough. The house far surpassed our already high expectations and we can't wait to return. We also highly recommend visiting Leo down at Sol y Mar - best service in Las Terrenas! :) Delicious food, drinks, and a prime beach location just a 3 minute walk from Casa Phil.

We had an amazing experience at Casa Phil. The home is more beautiful than what you see in pictures. Andrea's cooking was great and everything was taken care of. They were also able to arrange a private tour to Samana based on our requirements. Overall, it was a great stay!

Casa Phil is fantastic. The house manager Carlos offers prompt replies and suggestions for local offerings; he made our check in, travel to/from airport, and stay easy and stress free. Andrea, the cook, is FABULOUS, and made us delicious meals each day. This is a beautiful home, in a beautiful region, and cannot be recommended enough. It is a vacation we will remember for a long time to come!

I love Las Terrenas and all that it has to offer, but Philippe's house was so nice we didn't even want to leave to explore Las Terrenas. Carlos, the house manager (and his wife), Andrea, the housekeeper/cook (and her husband), the gardener, and Philippe were all warm and hospitable. We always felt like we were able were well taken care of. the view and location couldn't be beat. We had plenty of space and Philippe and his team went above and beyond. They had items for my baby including a high chair, some toys, pool floats, and a portable crib. Most importantly, when we thought our vacation was going to be right in the path of Hurricane Dorian Philippe communicated throughout ans offered to move our dates to a time more convenient for us if necessary (we live in the DR so easy for us to do). We waited until the day before our original arrival date to push our vacation back by two days just in case and Philippe and his team didn't miss a beat. They accommodated it all. They also recommended great spots in the area. If you are looking for an experience with a team of professionals to assist you make the best of your vacation look no further than Casa Phil. We highly recommend and will be returning in the future.

We have very much enjoyed our stay in this villa. The location is very convenient and the view from the villa is beautiful. The accommodation matches perfectly the description on the Airbnb website and is kept in a very good state. The staff is very friendly and really made us feel at home (Andrea in particular prepares fantastic melas). I very strongly recommend this place to travellers staying in Las Terrenas.

The house was perfect for our vacation! We found the place while searching Airbnb Plus, since we’ve been longtime Airbnb customers and it was above and beyond a typical Airbnb listing. The house is gorgeous! Very modern and spacious. Plenty of room and beautiful indoor/outdoor living. The pool and the grounds are fantastic. You’ll wake up every day to the large expanse of ocean in front of you. Andrea the housekeeper and chef is a delight. She goes beyond to take care of you and your group. She somehow manages to cook up to three meals a day, while keeping the house clean, making you drinks and taking tune to get to know you. There is a beautiful beach literally down the street from the house and it is within close driving distance to many other nice beaches and the town as well. Highly recommended high-end vacation. Forget 5 star hotels and stay here!!!!

This house is amazing! We loved Andrea and all her cooking. She was very helpful with any questions we had and even though we didn't speak very good spanish she managed to communicate with us using an app on her phone. Carlos was so helpful for anything we needed too. He was available at a moments notice and even helped us when one of our kids got an ear infection while on our vacation. The house a little bit of a walk to town but we still walked it fine. We do recommend renting scooters or ATV's for a quicker way to get around. I could have easily spent another week there for sure. Make sure to ask for Andrea to make you omelets and pancakes for breakfast! The juices she makes from the fruit is also a must. She was always really good about using any leftovers we had for other meals as not to waste any of the food we bought. She grills a great fish and shrimp too. It was such a relaxing vacation and I hope to be able to go back again soon. The zipline tour was also a highlight so be sure to check that out. Remember you need to leave a deposit for the electricity which they ask upfront. We used all of our $250 deposit but we were cooling all 4 bedrooms at night and we heated the hot tub up almost every night so I felt it was about what we expected it to cost. Groceries are comparable to the US for pricing so consider that when budgeting. We also ate at a few places on the beach. The one we loved the most was called Soho. I took my girls there for lunch and it was so good. Its a must for sure. There are a few more down there you should check out right by Soho(one was a French place a few doors down that was fabulous) and make sure to order pizza from Casa Azul. Thanks Casa Phil for treating us well. We had a terrific spring break!

Although this somewhat removed from town, if rest is what you are looking for this would be the ideal place for you. You can expect facilities identical to the images, which are impeccable and the place is grinding clean, but the most important thing is that the complex has direct access to one of the best beaches I have visited in the area. The attention of both Guillaume and Dauri (the young woman from the cleaning service) were exceptional. Highly recommended!

This place is a gem. The private beach is the most beautiful beach out of all the ones we visited in Las Terrenas and alone makes the place worth it! We loved the pool, the tennis courts, the quieter neighborhood away from the main town of Las Terrenas (but also conveniently only 17 minutes away by car). Guillaume is a wonderful host, and the house is lovely and comfortable. The kitchen is great for cooking and we had several delicious meals with the fresh local produce. Highly recommend this Airbnb!

We were received by Dauri who explained the operation of the house. She also takes care of the housekeeping and comes every day. We also hired a cook (extra charge). What really set foot under the table! The house is modern and perfectly equipped with even beach towels and a BBQ in the small garden. The residence is very nice and quiet and close to the city center by car. The pool is directly accessible from the duplex and the beach is 3 minutes walk. We had the pool and the beach to ourselves !!!!! We recommend this place if you want to spend a nice quiet and relaxing stay with all the necessary comfort.

Great stay and service. The home is perfect for families or groups of 6-8 maximum. The house needs a little more care in some small details, such as dealing with mosquitoes but both the building and the complex are fabulous. Minutes walk from Esperanza beach and 10-15 minutes from the city. We would definitely return.

The place was wonderful it was more than what we actually expected. The location was amazing, next to the beach. Guillermo welcomed us and showed us a little bit around the house. Everything was perfect from cleanliness to the amenities. Daurie the maid would come every morning to see if we needed anything. She was the nicest. Also, the pool area was amazing. It was really big and about the whole stay we had the pool area to ourselves. I would definitely come here again.

Joseph’s spot in Cabarete was ideal—seamless check in, beautiful ground-level condo, wonderful pool and grass-land on the edge of kite-able waters! We loved staying here and when we come back to cabarete we hope to be able to stay with Joseph again!

I echo other travelers - this place is the stuff of dreams. The spot is incredible - up on a hill with breathtaking views of the ocean, the sound of palms constantly blowing in the breeze and music and motos off in the distance. The house itself is incredibly comfortable and very lovingly taken care of - Jose, Aslide and Nina were all so kind and helpful. Local contact Edoardo was very quick to reply to any questions we had. Las Terrenas itself is vibrant and delightfully chaotic. Local beaches are incredible, though it was hard to tear ourselves away from the beauty and peace of this house. We stayed here with 4 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 young kids and were very happy - can't wait to come back.

This property exceeded my expectations in every way possible. Our party of nine was more than comfortable in this 5 bedroom Villa. I couldn't stress more the importance of a good host and Jose was that and more. The whole property is centered around the amazing view and that is one of the best views I've had. Peaceful, bug free, fully equipped, really all we needed was there. One thing to note is that you need a vehicle in good conditions to climb up a steep hill. But once you are up there it is very much worth it. We will be most definitely coming back.

I loved staying at Pablo’s place. The view in the morning was amazing. You have a full view of the ocean right from every window. I loved waking up and preparing breakfast just to eat it staring out the window. There’s security 24/7 on premises so you feel safe. You’re close to almost everything by either driving a few minutes, taking an Uber or just waking depending on the time of the day. Pablo is a great host and he was always available whenever something was needed. Would definitely recommend and stay here again in he future.

Great Place, Great Value, Great Hosts! The pictures are very accurate. It's a lovely place along the ocean with wonderful views. It's very comfortable with the essentials with extra added amenities that one would need, air con, free laundry, drinking water (don't drink out of the tap in DR). The location is a nice walk to the Colonial Area where you can spend a couple of days exploring, eating and just hanging out. Santo Domingo is very tropical, relaxing with friendly people. I had one unfortunate incident, which has nothing to do with this rental and the hosts Pablo and his son went beyond their call to duty to help me in anyway they can. I will always be truly grateful. They are very communicative, friendly and always checked in with me at the end of the day to see if I was okay or needed anything. I would definitely tell my friends about Pablo and this airbnb and I would definitely stay there again on my return to Santo Domingo. Now I not only have a place to stay but new friends to enjoy. We had a nice stay at Etienne’s place. We are traveling with two young children and don’t speak Spanish. We had a little difficulty founding the place but Etienne was very quick to respond to my inquiries and helped us find the apartment within 10 minutes. The apartment is located in the center of the Zona colonial and a few blocks away from restaurants and shops. We walked around at night and felt very safe in the neighborhood. We were also able to walk to the cathedral and museums. The location is very convenient. In addition kids enjoyed swimming in the pool. Thank you for hosting us!

An apartment with a lot of style. Very nice and quiet

Etienne’s apartment has been just perfect for our family. It is right in the center of the Barrio Colonial and there are lots of restaurants, shops around and even a very well refurnished Supermarket at 5 min walk only. The apartment is like you can see it in the pictures and is great to have the possibility of having a swimming pool to refresh yourself after a day walking in Santo Domingo specially with the high temperatures.

Suzanne was AMAZING!! She met us first thing to greet us (even though our arrival was very delayed-she waited so patiently for us!). She provided all the amenities we could want - water, toiletries, snacks, amazing local coffee even! We ended up having to leave early as well and she was so gracious and understanding. She helped us with various restaurant suggestions and was always open to any other way she could assist us. She also had a team come mid-way through our trip and replace all linens, towels and clean the place! A very welcomed and nice treat! The place was so comfortable - perfect size, comfortable bed & great security & sunset views at night on the patio! It was within an easy walking distance to anything we could’ve wanted to do. Couldn’t recommend her place + her hospitality MORE!!! We will definitely be back!

What can I say that hasn’t been said already? This place is a gem! The absolute best part about it is the location, which is why we chose it. Susanne’s place is located very close to everything in Zona Colonial, we just walked everywhere and didn’t need a car. We also felt super safe at all times. Susanne was super helpful in recommending restaurants and activities and also helped us arrange transportation to and from the airport. She also quickly fixed an electricity issue that resulted from a blackout in the neighborhood. The only negative is the hard bed, but I think that’s pretty standard in DR, as our bed in our beach air BnB was the same. Would definitely stay again!

Want to be able to comfortably walk around town? Next to everything you want out of SD and Zona Colonial? Beautiful home with a roof top? Look no further, My husband and I travel at least once a month and this bnb was one of our top 5. Suzanne and her associates were extremely hospitable (they greeted us with champagne as it was our honeymoon). The home is small but gorgeous and more than enough for a single person or a couple. Extremely affordable and wow the location couldnt be beat. I generally had some trouble communicating in Santo Domingo with my service even when I had wifi, so I missed all of Suzanne's great references and check ins until the end of our trip. The thought was there. Enjoy Santo Domingo.

Apartment extremely well located in a very quiet part of the city. Perfect for relaxing on the magnificent terrace .. and why not in the jacuzzi. It is very appreciated after a day of visiting and walking. A few hundred meters away, it becomes more lively. There is a park where people come together to chat, have a drink and dance. All this in the park. The people are very kind. You can bring your drinks and drink them in the park. Everyone does it. Within a few minutes walk, there is a very nice grocery store (national supermercado) where you will find everything at a good price. I will definitely return to this apartment on my next visit to Santo Domingo. Susanne's team is really perfect. Communication is really easy and fast. I recommend you without hesitation.

The accommodation was just the right thing to start our vacation in Santo Domingo. Arrive, enjoy the city and immerse yourself in Caribbean life. Susanne's apartment is very pretty and very tastefully decorated. Everything is there. You immediately feel comfortable. The sights are within walking distance in the historical part. And if you need a taxi, Jesus Taxi Service is always on time. Susanne is uncomplicated and answers questions immediately, knows the island and is happy to give helpful tips. I can warmly recommend the pretty apartment.

Perfect location for the area. Was easy to walk around to all the nearby restaurants and sights. Very comfy and clean space that was perfect for two.

We simply loved this place. We stayed at other places in Green Village and you could see how this one was a lot better in terms of furniture, appliances and extras that we didn’t expect, it had everything we needed and more! the hot tub outside was also a lot better than the ones in the other bungalows of the village. Super comfy bed and Estefani was lovely and available at all times making checking in and out easy for us. Would come back anytime!

We loved our stay! The room was nice and very clean. The air conditioning worked well and the water was warm for the shower. It was great to have drinking water available in the room. It was easy to grab a taxi into town, but food and the beautiful beach were right there so you never had to leave if you didn’t want to! Gary was quick to respond and his taxi driver Jose was wonderful and on time! I would love to stay here again.

If you’re thinking of booking it do it!! So nice! The view was just outstanding and even better than the pictures. The patio was a comfy place to watch the beach and the kite surfers and drink a cerveza at night and coffee in the morning. The couches and bed were super comfy and the space had everything I needed. Restaurants on site and nearby and town a quick walk or motorcycle taxi away. The hosts were quick to respond and super friendly with extra tips and safety hints. I wish I could live here!!! I didn’t want to leave. I will definitely be back.

Gary’s loft was wonderful. An amazing location right on the water and at kite beach, which is the center of Cabarete kiting. The staff was friendly and attentive, Gary and his wife were very responsive and lovely to meet, and the space was exactly as advertised. Very clean and perfect for a kiting couple. I’ll be staying here when I come back to Cabarete.

we could have not asked for a cooler place to stay in cabarete. if you want to kite this is the location for you, there is a kite school on the complex and also a restaurant. Gary and Vanessa was amazing, it was nice to talk to them on the beach everyday and they always gave us great suggestion for places to eat.. will be back soon!

Gary's place was exactly as described. Great view from the balcony, has everything you need inside. The internet is rather slow but why would you need it with this view and proximity to the beach?

We very much enjoyed our 7 days on Kite Beach. The apartment has the views as promised, and without the use of a car, we enjoyed walking the beach to different cafes. Beautiful location, very fun watching the kites, and always felt safe. The cafe beach side on the property was delicious and so welcoming. Also very much recommend Cabarete Coffee Company for breakfast and delicious smoothies. Thank you Gary for hospitality and facilitating safe transport to and from the airport with Jose. We hope to come back again some day, gracias!

Juan's place was amazing, the pool area was exactly like the pictures. The common area (pool) was great for meeting people from different parts of the world including locals as well. We could cook, listen to music use pool and just have a great time by ourselves or with other guests. Juan's place is very secure, there are gates on both the front and back of home I always felt safe. Our unit was on the second level with a beautiful view of the mountains and pool area, the beds were very comfortable and rooms were very spacious. Our kitchen was great we had filtered water so we never had to buy bottled water, any small appliances we needed and didn't have Juan was quick to get it for us. The groceries stores weren't that far away, you could walk to one of them but if you prefer to taxi the cost is only 5 dollars and Juan had list of taxis posted on wall to help out. The living are was amazing, huge sectional sofa with projector TV. The unit had wifi everywhere and you could watch Netflix on all three TVs, living area, master bedroom and second bedroom. Wendy was are go to guy, he takes care of property and anything guests need he was great. This home was amazing and I can't wait to return, I recommend Juan's place to anyone who wants to enjoy a great vacation.

You cannot go wrong by staying at one of the 4 villa's in this complex. We stayed here for a full month. Everything was perfect. More than we expected. Very clean and safe complex. The bed was soooo comfortable. The pool with waterslide was so much fun. The hot tub, what can you say? That is something most places do not have, and it's very nice to use on those cool evenings. There is a trusted taxi and moto-taxi contact information poster with prices to go to common areas around Puerto Plata. This was very helpful to get around if you do not have your own car. If you do have any issues, a quick text to Juan or Wendy, and it will be handled. We highly recommend staying here.

This was my third time staying at this amazing villa, no complaints, all the other guests I met were also guests who had previously stayed here which shows how great it is. I definitely recommend it and will be back again!

The apartment is located in a very good area. On one side there is a truck yard to eat something fast and a few blocks away is the Bavaro Express stop. The apartment is very comfortable, very beautiful and clean. I definitely recommend it.

A beautiful studio in a beautiful setting! We loved our stay here and the hosts couldn't have been more accommodating with all our needs (even coming to rescue us when we got lost before check in because I had forgotten to read the instructions!!). It has everything you need and is located on the main beach parade, with loads of bars and restaurants just a short walk away. Las Terrenas is a gem of a town and we can't wait to return!

This place is in a lovely location - super close to Ballenas Beach but not on the main beach road. The kitchen had great equipment, the AC was of high quality, and the unit was very stylish. The beach towels, spice cabinet, and food storage containers were nice added touches. This would also be a great place for someone to visit for a long period of time. If you are going to stay here for about a week or more, be prepared to buy TP, paper towels, hand soap, etc. I would definitely return to this listing - especially for the location.

Anyone looking for relaxation is definitely right here! You feel like you are in the middle of the jungle, but it only takes 5 minutes to the nearest beach. Which is also incredibly beautiful and where there are few tourists. The house is furnished with a lot of love - a lot of details and very clean. The only drawback is that there is no warm water, but it can be endured for a few days. We would definitely come again!

The place is exactly as pictured; clean, stylish and exactly what we were looking for. The location is just off the beach and offers peace and quiet - but the restaurants and such are a short distance away. The beach is also great. Everything worked great and the host is wonderful. Recommended!
