Wonderful cabin in rural Georgia! Linda's place was clean and comfortable with a big TV, comfy couch and front porch. There's a lot of nearby small towns to explore and larger locales like Dublin and Statesboro are only 30-60 minutes away. Highly recommended!

Adorable cabin/small house. The beds are very comfortable. The place is clean with a full size refrigerator. Excellent TV and Wi-Fi service. Nice dog pen if you need it and also a fire pit. I highly recommend a stay. Linda is a great hostess. She is congenial, kind and very helpful. We loved it and hope to return!

This is a cute little home in the heart of Baxley. Anything you could possibly need is about a 5 minute drive away. The house is well appointed for an extended stay and well kept. A laundry room and stocked kitchen make it a plus! Carrie is extremely helpful and quick to reply when contacted. Southern hospitality at its best! This is a great place to stay when in Baxley. 😊

Amazing location to small town Baxley. We were in town for a wedding and it was so nice to have our own cozy space to relax in. The home had everything we needed and more to make our trip stress free. The owner was very responsive to any and all of our questions or concerns.

Carrie's place was older but very clean, decorated nicely and was just what we needed. Carrie was available to us but we did not need her because all of our needs were met. We would definitely go back!

This stay was perfect! They were super nice about our weird checkin/checkout hours and the room is the cutest and so clean and fresh! My husband had fun fishing in the pond and we couldn’t get over how much it felt like home away from home. We wish our Sunday plans would have allowed us to stay another day but there are more festivals and more weekend vacation time and we will be staying here again soon! This little getaways was exactly what we needed!

What a beautiful getaway. The cabin is quiet, serene, comfortable, and full of charm. I went for a weekend alone, but it would also be amazing for a couple. The claw foot tub is a dream, along with the wide open spaces of nature surrounding the home. I absolutely loved it and will be coming back!

The Swamp Cabin was everything that we were hoping for! We loved the comfy king sized bed and comfy cozy furniture, the kitchen, the fire pit, the ambiance of the space (even a dimmer switch for the perfect lighting), and the beauty of the swamp as our constant view. Rhonda really made us feel so comfortable about making ourselves at home. We were able to really let go and relax especially in the awesome claw foot tub big enough for two.

Rhonda and her cabin makes for a great quiet weekend escape. She kept all the small things in mind for guest amenities. The only thing you will need to bring is clothing and food (if you choose to cook). The property is very clean I plan on staying again in the future.

We rested so well in the swamp cabin! Everything is set up thoughtfully and the location is incredible. Away from all the touristic yet still convenient to get food and supply. We came for a weekend to visit the peach farms and had so much fun hang out in the cabin. Will definitely recommend to our friends!

Dianne was a very sweet host. The Getaway did not disappoint. It has full size appliances and everything needed to feel comfortable away from home. She added personal touches to make it a very cozy and warm environment! I highly recommend.

Diane was a great host! Our tiny house was very clean and neat. We had plenty of clean linens, a great coffee selection, fresh fruit and snacks! She checked in with us to ask if we wanted any additional snacks or needed anything else. The yard was well lit at night, and we had no trouble finding it. Very close to Vidalia. We plan to come back again for our annual Peaches2Beaches trip:).

Had a pleasant stay with my kids at Dianne's place. Hot water and warm air for some cold GA days and nights. Plenty off outside space for me,my kids, and our dogs to stretch our legs and enjoy fresh air too. Nice touches inside, some snacks and personal hygiene items in case you forget yours at home (or just don't want to worry about the mess they make). Would be happy to stay again.

This place was very peaceful and relaxing. There is a lack of cell service and internet service, but it’s honestly was not needed because I spent the time with my family. The place was very clean as well. I would stay here again if I ever happen to go that way again.

Vickie's quaint little farm house is so cute! There's everything you need for a good stay. Quiet peaceful sleep. We were only there for a quick overnight, but would have liked to explore the farm more. Be ready to disconnect from the internet and phone and just take in nature. The azealeas were gorgeous! If you ride a motorcycle, the road might be a little hard to navigate. Cars, no problem.

Absolutely beautiful area!

This is our 2nd visit to the farm, and I sent my parents for my mom's birthday. We came as a couple for a nearby wedding in the summer, then decided to return with our 3 children (11, 11 and 9) this November. The boys slept on a pallet on the living room floor, while our daughter took the spare room. At night, lows in the 40's. The farm house is authentic, but the space heaters and extra quilts kept us warm and cozy. We left our electronics behind, played board games, charades, baked pies, and a big breakfast and dinner. Rain falling on the tin roof is always a pleasant experience. It was right after the cotton harvest, and we enjoyed walking the fields and picking up the leftover cotton. My son collected a whole trash bag full, he wants to make pillows. We all enjoyed the time-travel experience of our great-grandparents. To our pleasant surprise, our children asked to return in the spring.

The Old McCall homestead was just what we needed after our drive/work days. It’s beautiful and so interesting to check out all of the old antiques and information around the house. We would definitely stay here if ever back in the area!

Had an excellent stay at the Homestead while working at a nearby utility facility. Vicki stayed in contact with me during my travels to the Homestead and made a point to ensure I was comfortable upon arrival.

What a treasure this place was!! It was a joy to stay here and be immersed in South Georgia history. The bed was super comfortable and the home was very clean! Vickie added wonderful touches to the place to make it feel like home. The historical touches brought us back into time!!! We will definitely be back!!

Rustic cabin with rustic charm throughout!

Historically very cool. I found the amenities very adequate, everything a traveler would hope for in the way of comfort, cleanliness and safety.

Staying in Vickie's old ancestral home was a truly unique experience. She has done a great job of restoring the place with lots of interesting antiquities lying around the house. We also got to rent a quad bike to ride across the dirt roads on the countryside. It's well worth the drive out, and we would recommend it to anyone!

Beautiful home in the perfect serene location. Stairs are steep for the 2 other bedrooms so be careful. But the high ceilings and all the windows are beautiful on the lake. Fire pit by the water is awesome. Bring a hammock for the back porch. This was our families second stay and we always enjoy it.

Book this place if you want to enjoy a great outdoors location. Steps from a small lake, the view in the morning was perfect from the master bedroom with the huge windows it has to view the lake. Internet was good enough to watch some scary Netflix movies from my Xbox one x. Also there's some trees in the back that are spaced out enough to set up a Hammock in the back as well which I'm glad I brought along on my trip. Going to Walmart took about 15 minutes. Be careful phone service was pretty much nonexistent on T-Mobile so make sure you save a offline map just incase you need to get around and don't know the area like me. This place was small but spacious and having 2 bathrooms was a lifesaver.

very lovely cabin on the lake - private and quiet

Jan's place is an extremely accommodating, large house with an unusual layout, in an area where there are few or no other such accommodations. One of the bedrooms isn't really a bedroom as it's the only egress to the kitchen, but apart from that it was all good and not all of us showed up for the trip anyway so in the end that didn't matter. I love the stick-built original quality - the wood plank walls impressed me - a real country castle. I'll have fond memories of the weekend.

Spacious older home in a quiet rural town. Enjoyed sitting on the porch and looking out at the setting sun through the big trees that are Ser about the south and west sides of the house making for a parklike setting. Roomy simple house w comfy sofa and chairs great for lounging. Spent lots of time exploring the areas small towns and interesting sites. Def check out the vidalia onion museum in Vidalia very nice people theres also the Native American mound site in Macon. Called Ocmulgee it preserved and turned into a national park site during Roosevelt administration. Didn't get a chance to eat at Jan's restaurant Windmill which is right nearby as we're so busy exploring but will try next time git good reviews

Lizzie's Cottage is adorable and exactly as described. She's a sweet old girl with the quirks and eccentricities that come with age: doors that don't quite close, wood floors with a few squeaks, an unusual floorplan, etc. The kitchen and bath are modern and clean and the furniture is comfy. This was a great spot for a weekend away with family. We enjoyed dinner at the Windmill restaurant one night (steak and potatoes! Delish!) and Tiny Burger (ORDER AHEAD, great burgers and average fries) the next. There's also a park around the corner and lots of space to walk an active pup.

The River House was amazing!! We had a great time making memories and spending time with family. The river and sandbars are great for the kids with lots of big fish to catch! Wish we could have stayed longer and can't wait to go back! Rhonda was amazing and always available. Definitely recommend

This is the second time I stayed at the house this summer. It was for a week. Rhonda is a great host and you can catch fish off the side of the dock. I was able to get a catfish and a jackfish (quite big). The only downside was that it kept on raining the entire time.

I rented the home because i had family coming from Texas for my daughter's graduation. The house was sparkling clean. Large bedrooms, bathrooms were spacious. Secluded, peaceful. Outdoor seating and grill. Wi-Fi was great. Maria responded quickly to my questions. We enjoyed our stay.

This cozy little home gives the perfect vibe for a stay in small town Georgia. I enjoyed peaceful sits on the porch and felt very safe and comfortable the entire stay. Jan and her sister also own a restaurant a block away that rivals food quality in bigger cities! Both the home and the restaurant are hidden gems for sure!!

This home was full of southern charm. Beautifully decorated. Sparkling clean. We absolutely loved the rocking chairs and the front porch. Having a full size kitchen was a bonus to accommodate our family’s thanksgiving dinner.

Everything was just as described (or better). Jan was an amazing hostess and very responsive. The large, fenced in back yard was a big plus for our pets! We loved our stay and plan on returning again soon.

An excellent riverside property, unfortunately the fish were not biting but still an excellent place with its own private river dock. I definitely hope to stay here again.

Had a great stay at Melissa's river cabin. The view is fantastic, we got to see a great sunset, and listening to the noises of nature echoing down the river as the stars came out was very enjoyable. Also loved having smart TVs all around!

Hatch nuclear plant contractors this is a bargain and prime location. As a introverted private person, I was concerned in staying in someones home while they are actively living there. But I never saw them. And it was very quiet and private. Very clean. And the bed was comfortable. Johan was even understanding of me having to leave early. 5 stars.

The couple that rent the space are very polite. They went beyond my expectations. I was renting the space for work and it had everything I needed. They were very respectful of my privacy and worked quickly to resolve any issue I was having. I would highly recommend this space to anyone. She even had some extras she added. It was very comfortable and easy to relax after work.

Great spot! Comfy sleeping arrangements and lovely host. Tall guests - make sure to enter through the front door, the kitchen ceiling is a little low. The loft is also kind of tight, but beds are comfy. The Murphy bed downstairs is a dream. The house is well stocked with all the things you would need for your stay. And Diane is an exceptional host.

What a great little stay. The upper portion is great for kids to sleep. It’s like a doll house inside. Perfect stay for the doggies and the tiny porch is perfect for sitting with morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Host is very nice and accommodating.

This is a cute, quaint Tiny House that we found quite comfortable for our 1 night stay. There are surprisingly 2 bedrooms: (a) downstairs a comfortable Queen Murphy Bed pullout, and (b) upstairs, 2 singles, although the ceiling height is quite low (great for kids or agile adults like my wife). Everything was neat, tidy and clean. Shower and hot water were great. Kitchen worked well for us. Dianne super helpful (I erred with the TV, and she came from next door and fixed for me ASAP). In short, a sweet small house, and also a sweet host. Thank you Dianne.
