This hideaway offers a blissfully quiet & peaceful stay. Wake to the sound of birds & enjoy watching rainbow lorikeets & rosellas whilst relaxing in your private garden. Our free range hens roam but so long as you keep your gate closed they won't disturb you. We have koi & goldfish in a pond just outside your area, feel free to venture out there. We live upstairs but you have your own entrance. The unit is warm in winter & cool in summer. Waterfalls 5 mins away, sights/attractions 15 min drive.

You'll love this unique and romantic escape, designed as a space to make you feel pampered, we hope you enjoy the experience. Located in Hazelbrook, 15mins drive to Leura, 20mins to Katoomba. 15 min walk from Hazelbrook station. Close to local walks and away from the crowds. The studio is a portrait photography workspace primarily that we are also offering as unique accommodation ie. there are no kitchen facilities or TV. Take a 15 minute walk to the picturesque clifftop lookouts and spectacular waterfalls or meander through the friendly tree-lined neighbourhood to sample the local coffee. Listen to the sounds of the frogs in the pond and watch the black cockatoos rest in the trees as you slow down, recharge and soak up the fresh mountain air, secluded amongst the trees.

Coomassie Studio: the charm of a historic property

This accommodation is ideal for those who prefer the rustic charm of a historic property over modern comforts. Warm and cosy in winter, the studio was once a purpose-built kitchen of a house built in 1888. Separate entrance. Recycled furniture, large bed, sofa, original fireplace and bathroom with shower cabin. Tiny veranda and a kitchenette, shared patio. NO KITCHEN. To use the fireplace, please BYO timber.
