Come getaway at our waterfront house located in Hartland Maine. This is a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the peaceful water while relaxing and having fun with your friends and family . A 30 min drive to downtown Waterville where you can find shopping and dining places for the whole family . Enjoy fishing , swimming and more right outside your door . The house also has a boat launch and dock for your boat if you choose to bring one. We hope you enjoy staying at our home.

Established in the early 1800’s, the farm offers Guests the chance to get away to the country in a cozy and comfortable setting, while being centrally located to all that Maine has to offer. Barker Pond Farm Cabins, built in 2010, feature modern amenities including a full bath and kitchen, outfitted with towels, linens and cookware. Each cabin sleeps 4 people, with a queen sized bedroom and a 2 twin sleeping loft, accessed by a ship's ladder. A screened-in porch is the perfect place to sit and listen to our resident loons. We offer two identical cabins for rent, Pine, listed here, and Spruce, which can be found under "Barker Pond Farm Cabins; Spruce"

SNOW SWEET, A Yurt for All Seasons

Snow Sweet at The Appleton Retreat is very private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt faces the Field of Dreams and has a nice view of Appleton Ridge. It features a private therapeutic hot tub on the deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.

Abbot Trailside Cabin - Direct ATV Trail Access

Beautiful new deluxe cabin with 2 queen beds tucked away in a quiet, peaceful, country setting. We have direct trail access to both ATV and Snowmobile trails, and we have plenty of parking for your truck/trailers. If you're not into Atving or Snowmobiling, the trail can be used for walking, or you can explore all the nearby hiking trails, waterfalls, lakes, rivers, and ponds. We're also only 25 minutes from Moosehead Lake!
