  • Very cozy private space! Clean and comfortable. Nice air conditioning unit in the window and a ceiling fan, I didn’t even have to unload my box fan! I really enjoyed my experience there for the week. Highly recommend!

  • It was a really nice studio apartment . It was very clean, and had everything I could have needed for my stay. It was easy to find. And Had lots of stores near by. I was by myself and never felt like I wasn’t safe. I came in every night after midnight and the house and yard was well lit. I had no trouble checking in, using my code to open the doors or using the WiFi. I will be making more trips in the future and will be booking w her again !!

Our cottage is close to antique shopping and Earlham College. Relax surrounded by trees and natural sounds. Our place is good for couples and solo adventurers. Children are welcome!
The cottage is surrounded by seven acres of woods and meadows. We often see or hear a wide variety of wildlife. The cottage is the smaller of two houses. Our family with a dog and two cats live in the larger house at the end of the shared driveway.
  • Beautiful property

  • A great place to commune with nature and quiet peaceful private little cottage, Was impressed when I pull in the driveway this time and there was a deer waiting to greet me . Great Internet connection so you can be aware of what’s going on in the outside world. While there’s very little other than peace going on around outside. There is no TV and that is great ,you can just go online too see what you need to see.

  • Enjoyed our stay at this country cottage! Very quiet and restorative! Glad to recommend!

    Denny2020-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • This space is really clean and welcoming and very spacious. Had everything we need.

  • This was our second stay at this cottage. We were away most of the day and evening and scarcely used the kitchen, but we appreciated the lovely, quiet location and the warm welcome from Annelies. Jim was very prompt and helpful in his communication with us prior to our visit. We would not hesitate to stay again.

    Anne2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great spacious place to place day. Surrounded by nature and the tranquility of being away from the city. I did not think I would do well without having a television but I was able to watch anything I wanted on my laptop or tablet thanks to the amazing speed of the Internet. Found lots of time for reading books and just enjoying nature. Will be staying there on my next return and all my returns back to Richmond my hometown.

    Tim2019-11-23T00:00:00Z
  • Jim's place is a very nice cozy cottage. Perfect for one or two. I was met when I pulled in by a very friendly dog who made me feel like I was just coming home from a two-month vacation. I enjoyed myself here and would recommend it to any traveler.

    Chris2019-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • What a sweet little cozy cottage! My 3-night stay here was just delightful! I came for an event in town, and if I'd had more time I would've enjoyed walking the beautiful grounds in nature that surround this cottage. Lovely, warm family too! You'll have as much privacy as you'd like (I was only able to see the hosts at my arrival and departure as I was gone during the days). I loved stretching out for morning yoga in the living room (which is quite spacious with a beautiful vaulted ceiling) and cooking a little breakfast for myself in the full size kitchen. I loved it here and hope to come back again!

Upper level separate apartment. Short stroll to Earlham College campus, ball fields, tennis courts, stables and Athletic Center. 5 houses up from the President's house. Windows galore offer natural lighting. Quiet neighborhood. Hardwood floors give that cozy feeling. Guaranteed clean and private. Well-behaved pets welcome. Breakfast not included. Coffee, tea, microwave, toaster oven and refrigerator in apartment. Host lives in lower apartment with dog and 2 cats. Chickens in the back yard.
This house is a classic Techbuilt home built in 1955 by Earlham college professors. These homes are sometimes referred to the Mid-century marvels. The first floor apartment is partly underground and separate from the rental space. Outside siding is cedar and inside has wood panelling throughout. There is baseboard hot water heat which does not dry the air out as much as conventional furnaces. There is also the forced air between rooms which is a health safety factor from viral infections. There is lots of natural light with large windows at both ends of the apartment and all along the sides. The apartment can be one large open room, but the master bedroom can be sectioned off with a folding door. Master bedroom has a standard double mattress bed. There is a single bed in the living room. An extra-long sofa (7 feet x 22 inches) is in the living room. A spare double mattress is behind the sofa and can be moved to the floor for extra bedding. Guest self-regulate heat & air conditioner (micro-duct through the wall unit). No kitchen (yet), but the "pantry" has large toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker and separate tea maker, crockpot, refrigerator, dishes and silverware.
This is a located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Old growth trees and only local traffic in the dead-end street. Within driving distance, there are multiple restaurants and entertainment within minutes. Needler's grocery, pizza and fast food are within walking distance. In Richmond, just about everything is not more than 7 miles away; even the East side mall and restaurants. Local cuisine includes ethnic (India, Thai and Chinese) and regular: Texas Road House, McAlisters, O'Charlies, Olive Garden, Gallos and Old Richmond Inn to name a few. Many of the restaurants deliver.
  • Patricia’s place was perfectly located for our college visit. She was very helpful with restaurants and even called in advance to make sure it was open since we arrived later in the evening. We loved meeting her dog and seeing her beautiful chickens.

    Susan2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • We were visiting people in town and just needed a clean, quiet place to sleep and to grab some cereal on our own in the morning. However, if we had been new in town, we would have appreciated the tourist information--just one of many thoughtful touches--that Pat left in the apartment. She answered our questions ahead of time and gave us a warm, friendly welcome when we arrived--making us feel comfortably at home. She clearly cares a lot about offering a positive experience for her guests. The lot is wooded and we enjoyed seeing her sweet dog and her chickens roaming the fenced-in back yard (our private entrance was not in the back yard). This place is a great value, with a lovely host. We would definitely stay there again.

    Anne2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • This space is exactly as described. If you are 6' or taller the shower/bathroom area are little cramped due to the slope of the ceiling. Short walk to Earlham make this a great value.

    Chris2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Pat is a great host. We were there for Earlham baseball opening weekend. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to a future stay in March. Being able to use the wood stove/fireplace was a real treat. Great location, walking distance to Earlham College. Took home 3 dozen eggs. Looking forward to our next visit.

    D2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • My daughter and I stayed here for a few days while visiting Earlham college which is a few minutes away by foot. Pat was very welcoming and attentive to our needs. The natural light during the day made this a pleasant space. I would recommend this to a single visitor or a parent/child pair, since one of the beds is pretty small. But it worked for us. Thanks, Pat!

    Jenny2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • The place was very clean and Patricia was an amazing hostess, I would without a doubt recommend staying here to anyone who is interested in a great place.

    Hunter2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • The space is very relaxing and cozy. Ms. Pat was very friendly and attentive to any needs we may have had. From check in to check out a wonderful experience, especially for our first time with Airbnb. We would recommend staying here anytime. Excellent location, close to everything.

    Rob2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Pat's upstairs apartment is so great you won't mind the non-existent kitchen. In any case, there's a fridge, a microwave, a toaster oven, a coffee maker, and now an Instant Pot, and the bathroom sink is steps away. I stayed there while taking a two-week intensive course at Earlham School of Religion, which is on the same street, and I ate quite well--including a dozen fresh eggs from Pat's hens and a bowlful of chocolates that magically replenished itself. A grocery store, Needler's, is also within walking distance. As for the space, it's the perfect writer's garret--quiet, cozy, filled with green plants and warm light. I actually missed the place when I got home! The next time I go to campus, I won't look anywhere else.

Quiet, edge of town, wooded. Next to Earlham Campus.
  • This is a beautiful home which is very spacious and had little trinkets and pictures of places around Richmond which I loved. My friends and I really enjoyed playing the SmartAss game, one of the many available in the game room. The kitchen and game room being downstairs was a pleasant surprise. Having the extra half bathroom definitely comes in handy when there's more than one person staying there. We didn't discover the bathroom locks until the last day, so I would say that was the only bump we faced. My friends really appreciated having extra blankets and pillows available. Mark and Kristen are very fast in replying and accommodating to their visitor's needs.

  • Cute and cozy. Nice touches and upgrades. Comfy beds and very clean. Lots of windows and country views. Kitchen is downstairs along with a round glass top table which could seat five comfortably. Half bath is down there as well, along with walk out at to the patio and back yard. Upstairs is the master bath, three bedrooms, a great room with lovely views, one standard size television and a nice dining room table. There was only one chair to to sit on at that table, there wasn’t a lot of light in that part of the room and any meals needed to be brought up a flight of stairs. With this floor plan in mind it makes for a nice hideaway for those who do not have physical challenges.

    Jay Jay2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely time at Mark & Kristen’s home. Just as described, clean and comfortable. The game room downstairs is really nice with lots of games and books. They had the kitchen stocked with coffee and spices and everything we needed. It was a cold weekend, but we stayed nice and warm & loved seeing the snow outside the windows in the game room. We also ate at Little Sheba’s per Kristen’s recommendation - it was close and the food was great.

Our beautifully restored 1880s home in the Starr district (2 miles to Earlham) features fine woodwork and architectural detail. Two lovely guest bedrooms upstairs sleep two each with shared bath. Enjoy breakfast made with fruit from our garden. Listing is for one of the bedrooms, inquire if you want to rent both.
Surprisingly cozy, “Arden Hearth” is a grand old Victorian with seven decorative fireplaces, a sweeping entrance hall, front and back parlors, and a stunning oval dining room. Upstairs, the front two adjacent bedrooms are ideal for a family, with a double bed in one and two twin beds in the other. Guests share one large bath with shower and tub upstairs; there is also a downstairs bath without shower. Although there is no central A/C, older homes were built to maintain comfortable temps year-round. In summer, we provide a window AC unit in the primary guest bedroom, and in winter, we provide an electric space heater and down comforters. The house is not handicap-accessible; you must be able to climb stairs. There are a few steps outside leading up to the entrance that do not have a railing. Inside, the bedrooms are on the second floor with a long flight of stairs, but there is a hand rail along those stairs.
The Starr Historic District has many examples of charming Victorian architecture in about six square blocks. We are just two miles from Earlham College, and within walking distance of downtown and the Depot district, where you can find nice shops and restaurants. We are also quite close to the Wayne County History Museum, Glen Miller Park, and the Jazz Walk of Fame and nature trail in Whitewater Gorge.

  • Daniel and Janet were gracious and giving hosts, and their home is a stunning example of early 20th century Mid-America architecture. They have done a great job in restoration and upkeep, no small task considering the vast expenses of natural woodwork and flooring. Our stay happened to coincide with a really nasty ice storm, and we didn’t know it till breakfast that they were up most of the night dealing with a leaky roof and water dripping into their dining room. Nevertheless, after getting that under control, they took the time to prepare a wonderful breakfast, and even sat and shared the meal and time with us, including fresh bread and homemade jellies and jams. It was a brief but wonderful respite during our travels, would definitely stay there again.

Second floor of an 1865 Tin shop, now Coffee bar. Unique space with high ceilings & exposed brick walls. The bathroom features a soaker claw foot tub plus a lux walk in shower. The kitchen features solid surface counters, a large farmhouse sink, really nice appliances and thoughtful touches everywhere. The wifi is blazing. Have issues with stairs? This is not a good choice for you. If you're up for stairs and want a unique slice of history in a hip package then you will not be disappointed.
In 1865 this building was the home of Nye and Starr, a manufacturer of tinware and stoves. The Starr in this business was actually Benjamin Starr, later of the famous Starr Piano Company and Starr Gennett Records. This tin shop was his first business after he returned from the civil war and would become the first step into Richmond's jazz and recording history. The loft also became the residence to the fire chiefs of our city. The number one fire house is directly behind us and now serves as a BBQ restaurant. The neighborhood has become the place to come in Richmond for entertainment, food, and events. The coffee bar and tap room below the loft is Roscoe's, THE place in Richmond to connect and gather. It has become the hub of our community and to those visiting or attending a local college. With your stay, two breakfasts meals and two signature drinks at Roscoe's are included each day as our gift to you.
There are several great restaurants, a wine bar, tap rooms, museums, and shops all within a short walk. Fantastic biking trails and paths criss cross the neighborhood or are very near by. The Richmond farmer's market is only 3 blocks away as well. Lots of local history is on display from our windows and around each corner!
  • ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS LOFT!! Great location , price , and the Host was on top of things that we might need for our stay. Very accommodating and helpful.

  • I would recommend this place to everyone☺️

  • Outstanding experience staying in Jonathan’s place. This home is the best deal in New Castle. It’s spotless, well decorated, and spacious, with a well stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture, and plenty of linens. Jonathan was a perfect host. He met my husband at check in, provided an extra table for our Thanksgiving meal, and even provided a bottle of wine. This is not just a nice place for New Castle - it’s one of the nicest AirBnB places we’ve visited.

    Elizabeth2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great house in a convenient location. We were in town for a weekend for a family celebration and within walking distance of family’s homes and downtown restaurants. Easy check-in process and any questions were answered quickly. The house was clean and well-stocked. Quiet and very walkable neighborhood. We so enjoyed our stay in this lovely house.

    Susan2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful home that feels safe and inviting! 5/5 highly recommended.

    Matt2019-11-08T00:00:00Z
  • This house is beautifully redone and furnished and has everything that we needed, and MORE!. When we stepped inside, we found ourselves hit with a big WOW! Jonathan is the greatest host and has thought of many details that we did not expect. It is a great value since you can bring in groceries and cook just like you were at home (if you choose). Besides being visually appealing, it is comfortable and very, very clean. My husband and I kept saying to each other "I could live here".

    Cheryl2019-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • You can not go wrong with this place! It is the perfect home away from home! Jonathan has really put in noticeable extra effort to ensure you will have more than you could imagine! And the information binder in the home was so helpful! This house exceeded our expectations in every way!!! It was just what we needed.

  • We had a wonderful stay at this farmhouse. Plenty of space for a larger group, but it was jut the two of us. Updates make this place equally charming, functional, AND cozy. The A/C kept us very comfortable :) Communication with Heather & John was easy and timely, too. We hope their farmhouse is available for our next visit!

    Cindy2019-09-15T00:00:00Z

  • Very cozy stay! Would definitely stay again!!

    Katie2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • We were impressed that the suite was just as beautiful and charming as what was portrayed in the photos. The rooms look very cabin-inspired in their aesthetic, almost as though you were staying in a little cabin in the woods. She also includes some thoughtfully placed reading material. Shawn was an excellent host and very kind and helpful with any questions we had during our stay. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling in this area!

    Grace2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed Shawn’s place. We arrived late and everything was ready for us. Check in/out was very easy. The location was great and the unit was beautiful. We look forward to a return visit. Thank you Shawn.

    D2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This Airbnb was lovely and the host more so. We were road tripping and were going to be in late in evening. Shawn provided detailed directions and was very responsive to our questions. When we arrived, he had left lamps on so we could easily find our way around. Just really thoughtful. The space was gorgeous. The design and decorating was beautiful, antique and homey. The bed was the most comfortable I think I've slept on while using Airbnb. Definitely recommend.

    Brittany2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Shawn’s place is just what we were looking for during our short stay: clean rooms and bathroom, comfy beds, snacks, coffee and more! Nicely decorated and comfortable. Would stay again!

    Alex2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • Shawn's place was a wonderful getaway for me while I was visiting my son at Earlham College. The location is perfect, in a cute residential neighborhood centrally located within easy distance of the college, restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. The guest suite is a charming apartment on the full second floor of the house (with separate entrance.) The decor is charming, with lovely (but practical and sturdy) vintage/antique pieces. Beds and bedding are very comfy and the neighborhood quiet at night. The sweet retro kitchen was stocked with thoughtful touches like snacks, lovely stoneware. And YAY real cream in the fridge to go with the great selection of coffee pods (tea too). I used the supplied traveler's guides to do some antiquing and some hiking (local Cardinal Greenway and 20 min. south, Whitewater Memorial State Park) during my stay. The space is small in scale but plenty spacious. Tall visitors might find the vintage, European-style tub and shower a little low, but it was plenty of space for me (I'm 5'7"). I hope to come back for a future getaway!

    Jen2019-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • Another fabulous stay!! Shawn's place is hands down the best find--the space is beyond charming, very clean and quiet, and perfect for four guests. Located close to downtown bars, and just under 2 miles or so to Earlham's campus. We loved it last year and again this year for our Earlham homecoming visit. Highly recommended!!

    Anna2019-10-20T00:00:00Z

One thing we didn’t notice which is our bad, is that there is no oven and the microwave is a smaller size. Just a heads up for future guests. There is no central air, but there is a window unit which kept it comfortable. Everything was great!

  • Over the years we have stayed at quite a few B&B's, and more recently several Airbnb's. We definitely appreciated John and Charlotte's "old school hospitality". Check in was very easy, and John gave us a wonderful tour, punctuated with some history and pride of ownership. He offered us a wonderful home cooked breakfast that we unfortunately had to miss due to a 6:30 am departure. John provided hot coffee and fruit to go! He has a generously stocked refrigerator, bottled water, and the entire kitchen and family room available for guests' use. We highly recommend the Newhouse schoolhouse. It was a great stay!

  • What a incredible hidden gem that offers everything you need/require! I can’t say enough about this place and the nice touches, from fruit and water to bagels, to fluffy smell good robes and proper towels/linens and even a fresh pair of socks!!!! Bottles of water in rooms as well and the most comfortable beds you can dream on! John was a good guy and very easy going and just a great person. The place is an old schoolhouse that really has that vibe and special ora about it and the stories!!!!! I highly recommend to spend a couple days or a week here 👍🏽👍🏽 Thanks again John!!

  • Nicole's place was nice and clean. It matched the description to a T. Just be aware if you're in a full size truck (super crew + 6.5' bed), that's the only vehicle you can really fit in the parking area. Good location and it's nice to be behind a gate, considering you're in Fremont.

  • Leighanne’s bnb is wonderful! The breakfast was delicious and the bed was so comfy. Leighanne is very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with her and the other guests. They had a beautiful piano that my husband enjoyed playing after a long day of travel. We would love to stay there again!

    Kennedi2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • It was a fantastic experience and I felt I was being hosted by longtime friend. Lee Ann's place is super stylish but still super welcoming. She was both excellent communicator and eager to help out with anything I needed. Her place is a great value considering the location and beauty. Bed was super comfy. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with ME! I will be sure to be back.

    Daniel2019-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • Fabulous! Our stay was fantastic; Leighanne’s home is beautiful, and she pays extra attention to the details.

    Julie2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great B&B. The house is well kept with lovely landscaping. Lee Ann is the best host I’ve ever had. The conversation with her was delightful as well as with the other guests. The house was kept cool and very comfortable despite the summer heat. Breakfast was amazing: nutritious with lots of variety. The perfect fuel for continuing my bike ride on the nearby Cardinal Greenway.

    Mike2019-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • A stay at Leighanne’s will be a highlight of any trip. A beautiful home, luscious gardens, wonderful accommodations and thoughtful amenities place this BNB at the top of any list. I’ve stayed multiple times and when in the Richmond area and I will be back!

    Shelley2019-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Leighanne's B&B was so beautiful, it was hard to leave! The shared spaces looked like something out of a modern home magazine - very comfortable as well. Her backyard felt like you were tucked away in your own little haven. The place was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, there were plenty of shared spaces to spread out and study, and the breakfast was phenomenal. Leighanne was so friendly, welcoming and easy to talk to. She gave great recommendations on places to eat as well as helpful directions. She also asked what time I would like to have breakfast ready in the morning and it was all laid out and ready the next morning. I really enjoyed sitting down for breakfast with some of the other guests as well as Leighanne - I wish I could have stayed longer! Leighanne runs a top notch B&B!

7 minutes north of I-70 Richmond, enjoy fishing, swimming, tennis, or just relax in a rocking chair on the wrap around porch. Great, quiet location, yet close to Richmond, one hour east of Indianapolis. Ideal for family gatherings and multiple couples. Don't be surprised to see a few Amish horse and buggies in the area during your stay.
Local Pleasantries During your Stay at Pleasant Plain Cardinal Greenway for running or biking Fountain Acre Foods 5 Minutes North on Hwy 27. (Closed Sundays) 1140 Whitewater Rd, Fountain City, IN 47341 Our family favs: Fresh eggs, fresh baked donuts and bread. Very Favorite: they have a made to order deli sandwich station (We call it the Amish Subway) They use their fresh bread and fresh cut meats, fresh tomatoes and lettuce...seriously good...and seriously filling. The Utz chips pair with the sandwich most nicely. If you love ice cream, they make it fresh right there at the store. It’s sinful. If you are here with a large group with varying tastes, the smorgasbord is a great option because of their variety. Prices and menu on their website. Pizza King 114 S. • I had rented this beautiful home for a group of Instructors (5 in total) with my company for one week. All were more than pleased with the cleanliness, location and their overall stay. Everyone had more than enough room to spread out! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking in this area. Wonderful host!!

  • We highly recommend Michael's place. A gorgeous house and property. He communicates promptly, shows wonderful hospitality (a cheese plate and wine set out for us when we arrived), and makes his entire property available (tennis, basketball, outdoor fire pit). We were unable to use the pool during our January trip. We had a family reunion with 11 adults, 3 toddlers and an infant. We all look forward to returning.

  • This was our favorite airbnb experience, and we are looking forward to staying here again! We arrived to find some thoughtful treats and lovely touches that made us feel right at home. The home was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. The rooms were all as described so there were no problems finding the right space for all 8 of us. Michael and Alice were generous and delightful hosts. We look forward to using their beautiful home for future events.

  • This is a perfect location for a relaxing getaway from it all. Peace and serenity surrounds this home while being close to the highway and stores. It was spotless and able to accommodate me and my friends. Endless amenities for you to relax. You won’t be disappointed choosing this beautiful home.

  • Michael's place was a wonderful place for our family to spend some quality family time together. We were able to spend the whole weekend outdoors fishing, canoeing, playing tennis or basketball and just relaxing on the patio. Unfortunately we did not get to use the pool but it is the middle of October. We for sure hope to return to Michael's again for another family get together.

    Shelly2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Such a beautiful and private setting! Has to be one of the most unique Airbnb properties in the state. Michael was very responsive. You could tell that extra measures had been taken to make this property welcoming to guests. We stayed for three nights with 7 adults and 4 kids and never got bored. In fact, we were only inside to cook dinner and sleep. We fished and took canoe rides in the pond. We played basketball and tennis. The kids had fun riding their bikes up and down the long driveway. We had campfires every night with s'mores. It was the perfect place to get away and have quality family time. We arrived to a welcome note with two bottles of wine, homemade cookies, and a fruit and cheese tray in the fridge. Michael had the fire pit already set up for a campfire that night. All we had to do was light the match. Tennis rackets, tennis balls, and basketballs were set out for use. The fitness room above the garage is awesome. We didn't get to use it, but their was a great collection of fitness DVD's available. The pool is huge. Though the temperatures weren't warm enough to use it during our stay, Michael left out sunscreen and towels and pool inflatables to relax in. The canoe is very stable and lifejackets were onsite as well. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and bath towels were neatly folded in every room when we arrived. I hope I haven't left anything out because I just can't overstate how great this place is! We absolutely will be back!

This house is a spacious house on a beautiful property with plenty of space to relax and enjoy yourself. It will feel like you are at your own private resort. The house sits back off of the road down a long lane, and is completely secluded and private with a beautiful view of nature and lots of land for hiking. There is a pond, woods, and a river that runs through the woods. The house has all the amenities you need to enjoy yourself.
You will have most all of the house to use, including the lower level, garage, and weight room. There will be a few rooms that are off limits that I have my personal stuff in.
The original house on the property is called the Old Stage Coach house and was built in 1806. It was a stop on the underground railroad and has a lot of history and character to it. This house will be available to see. The property is kind of its own neighborhood. You will have 58 acres all to yourself.

  • Jill and her husband run an excellent bed & breakfast. The room and bathrooms were clean and well appointed, maintaining the look an feel of the Victorian era. They have created a homey charm that is befitting to their fully restored and well kept home. The common areas are large and breakfast foods and snacks were provided. I was pleasantly surprised by the guest kitchen which is appointed with two stoves and two dishwashers, along with all the equipment to do your own cooking. The chocolate cupcakes were a delicious surprise, too! The grounds are well kept with lovely planters and raised garden beds. The location is superb, located directly across the street from Richmond's large and beautiful public park and rose gardens. I was traveling with my nephew and two of his children, and they all said they want to return the next time we find ourselves in Richmond. I agree. Don't hesitate to book your accommodations here, you are sure to be treated with the best of Hoosier hospitality.

  • My wife and I stayed at Jami’s place for about 2 months at the end of 2019. The home was absolutely gorgeous and in a great location. The home looks even better in person than in the pictures! The house is extremely clean, with warm and welcoming furnishings. All the appliances were so clean, in perfect working condition, as though they were brand new. Each bedroom has a beautiful walk-in closet. The master bedroom has a super comfortable, very large, king-size bed. The walk-in closet in the master bedroom was also very large. The upstairs has 2 full bedrooms, and a full-size very spacious bathroom. The location is ideal. Whether you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing, getaway or a place to stay outside of Indianapolis, Richmond, Muncie, or Dayton Ohio, this location is perfect. It is just a block away from a beautiful, large park. And it is about 2 blocks away from a picturesque walking trail, National Road Heritage Trail, that runs along US-40. Every morning my wife and I went on a 4 - 10 mile run along the trail. The house is right on Main Street, US-40, and is walking distance to “downtown” Lewisville where there are shops and the General Store. (The milkshakes at The General Store are delicious!) The house was quiet and peaceful, even during busy traffic hours. And because of its centralized location, we could get everywhere quickly. Lastly, our favorite part about staying at this beautiful AirBnB in Lewisville was the neighbors and people of Lewisville. The neighbors were super friendly, and always willing to help or answer any questions. They welcomed us with open arms. Jami, the owner, was also super helpful, and responsive to our questions during our stay. If you close your eyes and think about the most beautiful, peaceful home you could possibly stay at in a small Indiana town, this is that home. We will definitely be staying here again, and we cannot recommend it enough.
