A pet (dog/cat) fee of $5/night/pet will be requested the day of your arrival.

We donate a portion of proceeds to Kent Attainable Housing, the Animal Care Shelter of Kent County or ShoreRivers conservation—your choice.

There is a fairly steep bank going down to the river, so please be mindful of this with children.

Sweet Bay Overlook

Take it easy at this unique home overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. You will enjoy watching the amazing sunsets on the bluff as the eagles, ospreys and boats drift by. Our little house was built in the 1960’s by a brick mason who was very good at his trade. In recent years, the home had fallen into disrepair, but a talented Amish craftsman purchased the house and renovated it from top to bottom. The Sweet Bay that you see today reflects his incredible attention to detail and quality.

Ruby's Sea Glass Cottage near Betterton Beach

This cute 1900 cottage is in the center of Betterton. There's a full kitchen & three beautiful outdoor porches to unwind. There's one bathroom (on the first floor) and an amazing outdoor shower available seasonally! There are three bedrooms (all on the second floor). Enjoy Betterton Beach which is down the street! Look for sea glass or watch the sunset! There is a cute park with a playground in town that the kids love! It also has pickleball, tennis and basketball courts.
