Located 3 mi. west of the small town of Frederic, Mi, & situated on 20 acres of land, this rustic log cabin provides a peaceful respite from the hectic pace of urban life. The property is bounded on 3 sides by the Au Sable State Forest. Situated in a relatively remote portion of the lower peninsula, guests are virtually assured a tranquil stay. Whether you seek a romantic get away with someone special, or a lively get together with friends or family, this place offers something for everyone.

Welcome! Our place is set up for family/friends relaxation time. Our 2 story log home is located in a rural neighborhood on a shallow stretch of the of the AuSable River just south of Frederic. Minutes from I-75 with park and ride access to snowmobile/ORV trails. Biking, kayaking, skiing, golfing, fishing or trail riding opportunities nearby. A 20 min drive to Gaylord and a 13 min drive to Grayling. The small scenic backyard has direct river access. Deck large enough to accommodate all guests.

Cozy cabin on 20 acres(occasional neighbor across road) where you can enjoy snowmobiling in Grayling/Gaylord area or ATV riding in the Frederic area. Just minutes from Hartwick Pines State Park or Forbush Corner for hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. 20 minute drive from treetops resort in Gaylord. Camp Grayling (near I-75) holds occasional trainings see their FB for schedules.

On our hill top deck is the perfect spot every evening to view great sunsets. Morning coffee enjoying chipmunks play outside the sliding glass door. Easy access 2 miles from I-75 and one exit from Grayling and 2 Exits from Gaylord. In warm weather, step to our private beach on a clear, sandy-bottom lake perfect for swimming, wading, fishing, boating, etc. When the weather cools off, enjoy miles of trails for walking, ATVs, and snowmobiles. Ski at Hansen Hills or bundle up and go ice fishing. We are about 10 minutes from the Manistee and Au Sable for fly fishing, canoeing, and tubing.
