Monika and Karsten were great hosts. They invited me to dinners and I was able to experience homemade German food. I really felt at home there, due to their hospitality. Highly recommended if you like nature and friendly people.

The host and her daughter were wonderful. Greeting us when we arrived and making sure we were comfortable. The house was clean and tidy and was perfect for two families with two kids each. The kids loved the fields to sled in and the woods to play in and the adults even took a hike! It was close to Arber for skiing too. Breakfast was so filling we ate it for dinner too! I would recommend this place to anyone!

We stayed here in June 2017. It is a very quaint, old farmhouse with lots of character. The best part is the host's friendliness and willingness to out of her way to make us comfortable. The location was perfect and we were very thankful for the quiet location. The room was large and airy. With Monika's help we were able to have dinner at the local restaurant where there was music and dancing. The food was good and the atmosphere inviting. Breakfast was wonderful. It is pleasing to wake to the smell of the wood fired oven. There was fresh fruit, cheese, meats, boiled eggs, rolls and preserves. The pear preserve made by Monika was the best! And the coffee was very good. It was the perfect start to the day to include great conversation. She gave us information on places to go to include the Trinkawasser Nature Preserve and the Granit museum. Both were wonderful and we would not have known about them if she had not shared them with us. We loved it here and would not hesitate to recommend you stay here.

Anna and Monika, were fantastic hosts. I travel very often and this is the first time that really felt the host was going the extra mile to make you fell at home and at ease. Location is great as the back of the house leads you directly into the national park (trekking, mountain biking, etc). Food was great! They master the clay oven cooking! They cooked for me and it was delicious!! All in all and excellent experience! Thank you! I will definitely come back!

The house is beautifully situated on the edge of the forest and yet you can reach the car within a few minutes in Regen or Zwiesel. Monika takes great care of her guests and serves a delicious breakfast. Again any time.

We felt very welcome at Patricia as we very, very much! were received. Similarly, a fond farewell to our two nights. The rooms are very spacious and a beautiful view from the kitchen. Speaking of food, we were not badly surprised when Patricia had bought us a free breakfast. Everywhere still little niceties, like a dear welcome sign, fresh flowers, candy, bathroom accessories ... The proximity to Zwiesel (4 km) was for our trips to Erholungsbad and a delicious kebab (Hakan's) another advantage. There will be a reunion.

It was an absolutely relaxing stay with a warm welcome and excellent, uncomplicated hosts, the location of the apartment is beautiful, natural and very quiet, and with easy access to a transport route, the forest railway. We had a wonderful time in the Bavarian Forest with Patricia. She gave us a very warm welcome and shown everything. The apartment is very nice and loving. Nothing is missing, neither in the kitchen nor in the bathroom. Everything was prepared very tidy and welcoming. We felt from the start very well. The fridge was filled on arrival and a delicious breakfast the next morning was taken care of. Helmut was so friendly and brought us sandwiches. All in all, it was a complete package where nothing was missing and for which we want to thank you again cordially. We enjoyed the stay at Patricia and Helmut. The appartment is well equipped and is very spacy. The view from the Kirchen on the Mountain Landscape is also very nice. What we also enjoyed is the very warm welcome and the love Patricia is investing in the whole appartment. For Example we had some fresh nice flowers and recieved every morning some fresh roles/bakery.

My school friend from Portugal and I stayed with Patricia and Helmut for two nights during lovely autumn season. Patricia instantly made us feel at home, greeting us with a warm hug and chatting away in Portuguese to my friend. The fridge was full of breakfast food, the tea selection was huge and organic coffee was also there. Two chocolate bars were met with many ooohs and aaahs and in the mornings Patricia brought us fresh breadrolls. We had the entire floor to ourselves and a stunning view over the lush green rolling hills. The Bavarian forest offers plenty activities and we thoroughly enjoyed our days, too. I can highly recommend Patricias place to anyone wanting to come to this part of Germany, during any season. We were truly pampered.

We felt very comfortable. Everything you need was available - towels, salt pepper etc. The freshly baked cakes and champagne was a bonus. The only thing missing was internet, but in the ad it was not even there. We have had no power - nice if you want to completely turn off.

Our stay in Buchenau was very nice! We were warmly taken by Schreiner family in reception and guided in the apartment where the kitchen in a prosecco and small snacks waiting for us. The apartment is very well maintained, very clean and equipped with everything your heart desires! From kitchen utensils on hair dryer, towels, washing machine ... What I found super mother: the apartment is not noisy, ie, one has my little girl, who was sleeping in the TV room, and next door barely heard in the bedroom. The house itself is in a great location! From the balcony you could watch the Sonnenunergang:-))) The trails are in the immediate vicinity, and recommended by Tom restaurant where you can eat great by the way. It was a great trip! Many, many thanks to Schreiner family for their warmth, because it was that gave our stay the character! We'll be very, very happy to be back !!

The apartment Schreiner is a beautiful property. The whole apartment is equipped very clean and with everything you need in a vacation. The hosts welcomed us warmly and are very relaxed dealt with us. To welcome a bottle of sparkling wine and some sweets and a cake was waiting gabs a few days on it. He was - not to exaggerate - the best plum cake we've ever tasted! :) For a 1.90m tall guy the bed was unfortunately a bit too tight and too soft for my taste, but that makes the habit. ;) Nevertheless, we enjoyed our time there and in the surrounding area and had very well much joy. Particularly useful was the GUTI card, with the use to bus and train for free and offers may take a discount. This we have applied on the first day on the spot and get on the second day. We were welcomed warmly. Cakes, Nachwerk and a small champagne were ready. The apartment is very clean and well maintained. A festival for friends of the 60s. The owners are very helpful in all aspects of daily (holiday) life and give you their knowledge about the country and people in the area continue. The resort is very clear, some walking routes go through here or start here. 2 restaurants invite you to dinner, the nearest supermarket is in Zwiesel (15 min.). A bakery are in place, unfortunately, no, but there comes a bakery-selling car in the morning - something for early risers. The weather is like it is in the Bavarian Forest, we probably had the best of luck with very warm temperatures and little rain. The recreational value is very high.

Staying at Tom's parents was just great! The flat is clean, nice and spacious, equipped with everything necessary, including kitchen staff. The area around is beautiful, calm and quiet countryside, we slept so well there. The hosts were kind, helpful and understanding, even gave us the cake on Saturday! Strongly recommended, I really felt at home, like visiting my own grandparents there.

My brother and I had a very warm welcome by the family Schreiner, who showed us the spacious appartment which has everything you need. The house is located deep inside the Bavarian forest, which makes it ideal for a hiking holiday with very nice viewings.

We felt very comfortable in the apartment of Andrea. We were greeted by her and her cute dog Benny friendly and equipped with tips for our stay. The apartment is big enough with a great bathroom with shower and bath. For our dog it was great to have a garden, which we could use. The kitchen is very well equipped. There is nothing missing and there is even a dishwasher. Also the bed was very large and comfortable. There are a couple of great hiking tours that you can do nearby. We can recommend the apartment so highly!

Our three days as a guest and have to say that we were completely satisfied. The kitchen is well equipped, which you rarely (Nespresso machine, egg cooker, toaster, pots, pans, oven, dishwasher, etc.!) Finds the apartment is nicely furnished and absolutely clean! Beautifully decorated and therefore very homey. Bad is just as great! Towels are enough available, as well as shower gel, bath products and hair dryer! We were greeted with a sparkling wine and fruit and have immediately felt comfortable. Certainly also because of the beautiful views from the terrace, which our little dog has of course also like top notch :) The village has a very good restaurant (La Mama) as well as several butchers, bakers and Edekas. We can absolutely recommend this apartment and would definitely come again!

Cuddle with alpacas, walking through the treetops, sledding on the Arber, cozy cooking and playing cards in the living room and sunbathing on the terrace. We can recommend Andrea and their accommodation with all my heart and get yourself happy again.

Thrilled we came back from our holiday. It was idyllic .. quiet .. We felt as guests of the Andrea very secure. Our apartment had very lovingly decorated rooms. The kitchen was exemplary also stocked with all the utensils you need on holiday with self-catering facilities. The bathroom very comfortable with shower with massage jets always allowed a great refreshment after hiking .. also for all tired tourists. All windows with blinds could darken .. around .. before the tickling sun rays in the morning .. still keep hiding it;) The great fresh air will we miss .. and just as our dear hostess the Andrea. A wonderful woman who has been currently a part leave from her house to strangers .. So that other people could also experience the fantastic area in the Bavarian Forest. We are already thinking next holiday and we will spend again at Andrea. With a clear conscience we recommend the apartment each of fancy nature haben..Aber also recreation search. The perfect place to enjoy a vacation and discover frauenau. Thomas is a great host. Went above and beyond to welcome me and made sure had a great stay. He came to pick me from zwiesel station as I had missed the bus to frauenau. He gave me a ride to school one morning when it was raining. He even offered to do a load of laundry for me. He greeted me at my place with a fresh bouquet of flowers cut from his garden! The place is very bright and spacious. I enjoyed the deck very much every evening during sun set watching the lambs and the beautiful scenery. I highly recommend Thomas place!

For the reception, the host, the house nothing to say, it's perfect. Thomas is a very welcoming and nice person, he helped us a lot for our project. Frauenau is a village with everything you need and more the place is very peaceful.

The host's place is only suitable for those who do not cook. The host is strict and not easy going regarding use of kitchen compared to other Airbnb homes. Also there was miscommunication, misunderstanding and the host's lack of trust. She should tell us clearly from day 1, the time we could cook, the dos and don'ts so that there would not be any misunderstanding. Also,she wanted to check the room before we checked out. No problem, although we never had this experience with any airbnb homes or hotels. Also on the last night, she locked the living room. Other examples of mistrust. When she was away for the weekend, an ambulance parked outside her house. Without checking with us she assumed, we called for the ambulance. (Someone told her about ambulance). We never called or needed the ambulance. No one from the ambulance entered the house. The day before we left, she asked for our passports. First time for me again. We never had to do this for any airbnb homes. So to conclude, it was not a pleasant stay after a few days . By the way, if you do not like the the smell of dogs, this place is also not suitable for you. (although it did not bother us, because we love animals).

I can recommend the home of Alice definitely. Although Alice was not on site over the weekend of my stay they did everything to make me feel right from the start well - including small welcome gift :) For me the hotel was ideal to be creative and to simply break from everyday life -. Exactly what I had before. My expectations were completely fulfilled!

Super value for money! Elisabeth is a very gracious host and can give good tips about destinations in the area. Although we were a couple, we had the whole place to ourselves. The upper floor consists of a kitchen and four bedrooms. Our room was a good size and comfortably furnished. The bathroom is located directly off the bedroom. The large kitchen has everything you could wish for and is also very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and have relaxing days spent. Around Spiegelau there are many excursions and hiking opportunities. We would come again definitely.

The apartment (several bedrooms and kitchen with table, small couch and TV) has everything you need. Each bedroom has its own bathroom! We were quite early in and were greeted by Elisabeth very friendly. All kinds of shops are within walking distance. We would definitely come again!

My girlfriend and i were delighted to stay at Antje's place. Our arrival was very smooth - Antje immediately picked up the phone when we didn't find the estate at first. Antje and her husband Lukas are two of the kindest people i have ever met. We immediately connected over a cup of coffee. They both work in the area, so definitely talk about your plans with them. They gave us valuable tips on how to spend our weekend in the national park. The location itself is very quiet and beautiful. The breakfast was all we could hope for, and Lukas even gave me tips on how to cope with my food allergies when dining in the area. What more can i say... we loved staying there and if we are ever in the region again, my first step will be to check if Antje's place is free.

Antje and Lukas were amazing hosts and they live in an idyllic house that was so great that we changed our reservation for when we travel back from Hungary so that we can come back to Spiegelau. We extended our stay with a day because all the little sitting places in their garden were a perfect setting to work on an important presentation I have in Hungary. The kids loved all the marbles and toys and the grass hoppers in the garden. I warmly recommend them and their place for anybody who is looking for a place to rest and get inspired.

The apartment has a stunning view from the kitchen window and the balcony. Lots of room to spread out. Our German is non-existent so we had to do a lot of pointing and waving our arms about but I think we were able to communicate all the important things. It was very nice of your mum to be waiting for us when we arrived.

The house is located in a beautiful area of Bavaria. It's big, cozy and very nice. You have needed for a comfortable stay. Surrounded by small villages where the scenery, food and great beer is enjoyed. The location allowed us to easily access other places outside Germany and Czech Republic and Austria. Steffanie was awaiting us at all times. It is not only a great host, as a person is very hospitable and friendly. If I return to the area I will not hesitate to visit your home.
