Three decades of tasteful renovations — using almost 100% re-purposed material — have rendered this converted barn magazine-worthy. Set-back from the road on 1-acre of wooded land with a babbling brook, 353Brookside is a modern home that maintains its rustic allure. With 30-foot ceilings, exposed wooden beams, dozens of windows, an array of eclectic furniture and a grand piano, the charm of the barn is immediately obvious. Perfect for romantic get-aways, retreats, family gatherings and more.
Access to the entire home and 1-acre of land! The barn was built in the early 1900s to house the Oxen that built the dam down the road, hence the thick, original oak floors. The second and third floors were constructed by re-arranging the barm's giant beams horizontally instead of vertically. Almost all of the many abstract art pieces on the walls were painted by my mom and grandma. Everything has been modernized and we keep it sparkling clean! To make your stay easy, I have posted informational signs throughout the house that address FAQs, operating instructions and much more.
Quiet, quaint, peaceful neighborhood with very friendly neighbors. Many guests remark on how at ease they feel upon arrival. Convenient but private setting. Walkable to quick eats, ice cream and convenience stores. Less than 5 mininutes to grocery stores, resteraunts, and nature reserves. Less than 10-minutes to the beach, downtown, the train station, shopping areas, fitness studios, and golf courses. Just 45 miles from New York City.
  • The Barn is truly idyllic - even more gorgeous than the pictures show, beautifully cared for, cozy and stylish all at once. The location is lovely and restful - this is a perfect weekend/weekday getaway! It truly will exceed your expectations, and Davis is the greatest host anybody could wish for.

  • The place was great and exactly as advertised!

  • Awesome house with a lot of space. We didn't need to utilize it but it's nice having rooms on separate floors with its own living room space. The house is beautiful as well as the neighborhood. There is a river that runs behind the house to the lake down the road, it was a nice walk. Do yourself a favor and enjoy the fire pit out there! And then relax in the bathtub. The shower is amazing also! We had an issue with a window and Davis was very prompt in responding to me and getting it fixed. Definitely will be the Airbnb I book if we come back to this area.

  • Davis's house is really wonderful. We are frequent travelers and we love NYC and we usually make getaways to some nearby state to know and experience other ways of living. I write in Spanish to be more precise in what I want to tell ... I hope Davis can translate it as well as possible. We were 4 nights with my family. Every place in the house is charming, the rooms, bathrooms, dressing rooms, desk ... every space with unique details and everything you need is there, available. The living and kitchen are dreamed, the photos do not reflect the perfect style. One of our children is a musician and the piano sounds perfect. Each room has its TV with entertainment system which allows the translation of languages. The exterior is beautiful with a stream that crosses the back of the house. We made a fire on a cold afternoon and used his grill. It is a house to stay, walk for a while on the beaches and forest park and cook some specialties of Trader Joe. I recommend to travelers that in addition to enjoying NYC, relax a few days in Davis's barn. Greetings from Argentina.

  • This barn is so incredibly charming! We loved everything about the place. Our favorite was the basement, where we could fit 7 of us comfortably on the couch/chairs at night & just relax. Everything was wonderful and Davis was very responsive and welcoming.

  • This place is amazing. Definitely recommend ! The house is gorgeous and clean. Area is beautiful. The host was very helpful and nice. We didn’t have any complaints. Would love to come back.

This is a beautifully appointed studio apartment located off the patio level of a water front home. Guests enjoy a large private patio over looking gorgeous sweeping views of Long Island Sound. A private entrance and off street parking. The amazing views and amenities make this space the perfect romantic getaway! Close to I95 and Metro North railroad. Ten minutes to great dining in downtown Milford. A true waterfront oasis! Come and experience this beautiful retreat! You won't be disappointed!
The Studio is spacious, extremely well appointed, beautifully decorated and very high end. The entrance is private, at ground level, and accessed through french doors (see picture) located under the covered terrace. The host does live in the main part of the house on the two floors above the studio. However, as a super host, I'm extremely contentious of my guests privacy and comfort. When paying guests are present, the host does NOT use the patio or covered terrace. Those features are reserved for guests only. Other features include: a 1200 + square foot patio over looking incredible 180 degree views of Long Sound. Cozy bistro table by the sea wall for drinks, dinners, and breakfast by the water. Remote controlled gas fireplace in the studio for romantic evenings. A beautifully appointed bath featuring a marble glass enclosed shower with three body jets and massage shower head. A 50 inch smart TV and a Blu Ray DVD player (bring your own movies). Cable TV with HBO, Starz, Showtime, The Movie Channel, and music channels. High speed Wi-Fi. Five burner gas barbecue grill for the exclusive use of guests. NOTE: the studio is not located on a sandy beach. However, guests do have access to the shore line for beautiful walks by the water. NOTE: Cooking in the studio is limited. Please read the “Other things to note” section of the listing description for details. Thanks! Your host: David
Quiet residential neighborhood. Off street parking. Only a 15 minute drive to Silver Sands state park and beach! Many excellent restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner just a 5 to 15 minute drive from studio. Two major casinos just an hours drive away.
  • David's place is awesome. Me and by husband had the best time there. And I am really looking forward to stay at David's place, whenever I visit Connecticut. Sure we will 😊

  • This place is fantastic. Never seen a more equipped AirBnb. High quality linens and kitchen utensils. Champagne glasses and candles. Super cute and feels like home. Private and romantic. And SUPER CLEAN. Amazing sunrises. Make sure to not miss it. David is an amazing host. Didn’t even see him :) Everything was perfect. Thank you David.

  • David’s place was amazing. It looks just like the pictures. The outdoor patio was our favorite. It has an elegant European feel and of course staring at the ocean is just amazing. The inside decor is nicely styled. The fireplace is romantic and cozy. We would definitely stay again! Also David himself is a very laid back, chill person which also added to the great experience.

    Robin2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • It's a beautiful, clean apartment. David was easy to work with and very respectful of guest privacy.

    Gretchen2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • This home has a spectacular view - we drank wine outside in JANUARY! The studio space has all you need for a cozy weekend for 2: wine glasses, a fire place, and a view! The home was very clean. New fixtures within the space, especially the bathroom. (The shower is exquisite!) David is a great host, gave recommendations, and was responsive with communications. We'd love to visit again!

    Gabriella2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • David’s place was a cozy comfortable getaway for my wife and I. Close to Milford center and near lots of great places to eat. Apartment opens unto an ocean view. Would visit again.

My place is in a safe neighborhood and it's very close to I-95, Merritt Parkway, hospitals, Universities, Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, and restaurants. It has 2 floors. I live in the first floor. The second floor has 2 private rooms and a bathroom, which I rent to airbnb guests only. The bathroom's ceiling, on the side the bathtub is placed, is slanted. Guests, 5'11" or above, might have a bit of difficulties taking a shower. Guests can park in my driveway or on the street for free.
The neighborhood is safe and my neighbors are great people.
  • Eddys place was definitely as described in the posting and on all the comments you see. The check in was super easy, the room was clean, bed amazingly comfortable, private, bathroom right across the hall, tv with Netflix. His place was so better than expected my boyfriend and I stayed a second night. Not to mention he let us do early check-in. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much.

(Please contact us to book isolated Fridays and Saturdays)Hot tub/fire pit/pool! Hike our woods to deer trail along river! Over 80 eateries within 15 mins! Enjoy winery/craft beer/farm/market visits; easy to moderate hiking; world-class, indoor ropes course; indoor sports/gaming center; trampoline park, much more. Near aquarium, kids' attractions, museums, concerts, nightlife, LIS boat tours. Our fav: Downtown Cabaret Theater.
We are still the ultimate couple's, private getaway, but we're making it easier to bring the little ones for a low-keyed, but fun-filled vacation. When you're not enjoying our outdoor amenities, relax in your very own home theater with 66" HD Smart TV. Full kitchen has an electric range, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, assorted small appliances. It is fully supplied for preparing full-course meals. The bedroom features a very comfy queen bed and two twin air mattresses for the kids as well as a portable crib. Please note that dining table only seats two, but there are two TV tables. The front yard has a playset, tree swing and junior bocce and horseshoes, charcoal grill, dining set, and hammock. Backyard has three-level deck, swimming pool with deck lounge chairs and umbrella table, screen porch with hot tub, gas grill, smoker, picnic table, outdoor living room, fire pit with seating, and a hammock in the woods. We have a private, hidden deck and a top-floor deck so you may never see us!
This is a prime piece of real estate the developer originally reserved for himself and a total surprise at the end of a very normal-looking suburban double cul de sac. And yet we consider a drive of over 10 minutes to get anything - groceries, auto service, medical treatment, pet care, pizza, etc. a totally unacceptable inconvenience! We have a herd of deer, a rafter of turkeys including three huge toms in the spring, an abnormally large red fox, a pack of coyotes, a rarely-seen bobcat, and birds of every feather, including woodpeckers, owls, and vultures.

  • What a great spot for a nice weekend getaway ! The house was fully stocked with kitchen wear as I cook that was a huge plus! The hot tub was amazing too just make sure you bring some robes to stay warm as the entrance is outside the unit! Overall very happy with our stay !

  • As a young couple looking for a cozy weekend getaway, this ended up being the perfect choice. Between the decor, the sparkling cleanliness, and extra little touches here and there, this Airbnb is well worth a booking. The hosts are easily contacted for info and assistance and do everything they can to ensure guests feel welcome and attended to, while at the same time ensuring complete and absolute privacy. The home is secluded and the surrounding wooded area is beautiful. The town of Shelton and neighboring areas are easily reached and we were provided tons of information on local places to eat, relax, and hike. Highlight of the stay was relaxing in the hot tub at night, overlooking the woods and surrounding town below. When we got out to the porch containing the hot tub the lights were on and low, the hot tub was running, and every curtain in the entire home was drawn to respect our privacy. Some airbnbs are an extra space people rent out for some extra cash, but that’s not the case here. These are people that take pride in providing a comfortable stay for their guests and we will certainly be back.

    Stephanie2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed here for two days and nights and let me tell you- it was delightful! The hot tub was wonderful and the space is gorgeous. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.

  • Pat and Gabe's place was a peaceful spot for a getaway weekend. We were greeted at the door and given a tour when we arrived, and Pat and Gabe were quick to respond whenever we reached out. If you're looking for a relaxing place to stay in, this spot is homey and comfortable, with lots of books, games, a trail, hot tub, and a s'mores kit. If you're planning to explore the area, there's a ton to do within a few miles of the Airbnb, and the hosts provide several recommendations on their website, including restaurants, hiking trails, museums, and more. We hope to come back again!

A true 5-Star experience! Enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and loved the space! I look forward to returning in the summer to take advantage of the pool and hot tub!! Thank you Pat and Gabe for a great experience!

Our rustic River Houseboat is on the edge of the Pootatuck River on our lower pond, in close proximity to our beautiful stone barn. Please note that Sticks and Stones Farm is a drug and alcohol free property and we request that all of our guests respect and adhere to our policy. Thank you!
Our rustic River Houseboat is on the edge of the Pootatuck River on our lower pond. The Houseboat has a comfy queen bed and a screened porch complete with two antique rocking chairs. The River Houseboat is often preferred because it is located close to the main Stone Barn and parking lot. The Stone Barn is open 24 hours and has a hot shower, toilet, and common room with internet and books. Keep in mind that because this cabin is located at the base of the mountain it is not as secluded as the other cabins. The Stone Barn has a grill outside and a full kitchen inside that guests are welcome to use. There is also a fully equipped Rustic Kitchen located at the top of the mountain. PLEASE NOTE -The bathroom is not located in the cabin. Both the bathroom and showers are located a one minute walk away in the Stone Barn -There is a small fire pit located near the cabin. -Candles are not allowed in the cabins Once you book we ask that you keep us updated on your arrival time so that we can be sure to be ready and waiting for you! We ask that all guests arrive before dark. Guests arriving after 10pm will be required to pay an additional $20 late check in fee in cash upon arrival. We apologize but we must enforce this even if you are late due to circumstances out of you control. It’s simple living at its best. We're just over one hour from NYC but local folks love us too. We are an easy, inexpensive "staycation" and many use us frequently as their guest "bedroom" when out of town family or friends come. We offer a unique setting for your summer get-a-way or family reunion. There is a communal Rustic Kitchen on the top of the mountain ideally situated between the Pagoda cabin, Mtn. Laurel cabin and Summit cabin. The kitchen has cookware, plates, french press, utensils, a stove, grill, coolers with ice, olive oil, salt/pepper, drinking water and a sink with running water (not potable)! Lighting is limited and we always encourage people to bring their own additional lighting. There is also a fully equipped communal kitchen located in the Stone Barn at the base of the mountain which guests are welcome to use. We do not provide breakfast at this time. There are three large designated fire pits on the property. Some cabins also have their own fire pits which is noted in their individual descriptions. Fires are not allowed to be made in non-designated places! Please Note per Connecticut state law - firewood cannot be brought in from out of the state.  Upon arrival we will provide you with a map and your own cooler with ice. We allow our guests to drive their belongings up to their cabin at check in and upon check out but cars must be parked below in designated parking areas. Please remember that during your stay you will be traveling on foot! Most of the cabins are a 10-25 minute walk through the woods, depending on your speed. The River Houseboat and Little House are at the base of the mountain next to the stone barn and parking area so very little walking is required. We restock ice and other goods daily and thus try to make ourselves as available and accommodating to changing needs as possible - we have some individuals living on the property who can be available in case of emergency. Important Things to Note: -Verizon wireless is the only network to have service throughout the property. Nearly all other providers have service on the top of the mountain where the majority of our cabins are located.  -Dogs are not allowed to stay in any of our cabins. -Please be advised that we are not solely a Bed and Breakfast; we are a working farm and while we aim to accommodate you as best as possible, there are sometimes other events going on that may affect your stay. We recommend you check our calendar of events prior to booking. Sometimes our guests enjoy participating! -There is a shower inside the stone barn, as well as two outdoor showers located near the Rustic Kitchen area at the top of the mountain. - An outhouse that is cleaned weekly is located near the Rustic kitchen, Mtn. Laurel cabin, Summit cabin and Pagoda cabin and a two room state of the art composting toilet is shared between the Solar cabin and Log cabin - both a one minute walk away - We have a wilderness camp that runs Monday - Friday from 9am - 3pm during the summer. Campers and staff respect the privacy of the cabins but you might see some groups of children building forts or playing games throughout the forest  - Please be aware that depending on rain fall the property is at risk of drought in the late summer. This can sometimes cause the pond levels to drop making it less scenic for some. - None of the cabins except the River House Boat and Little House have electric- fans are provided in these cabins - There is a Stop and Shop grocery store located 2.5 miles from the farm - If you are arriving via metro north you want to get off at Bridgeport and from there you can get a driving service for the 30-minute ride to the farm (i.e. Uber, Lyft etc.). - We do have wi-fi in the main stone barn that reaches the Little House and the River houseboat. - There are two cats that live on the property in our near the stone barn.
Though there is lots to do in the towns of Newtown, Monroe, Easton and Fairfield, surrounding Sticks and Stones Farm, most guests prefer to kick back, stay put and enjoy the quiet energy of the farm setting.
  • The little boat house is lovely! Tiny but very close to the main house and all the things you need. We had a lovely time and already want to come back!

    Juliana2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • This is such a special location. Very relaxing. The houseboat is a cute little hideaway. Take some time to hike around the area. It’s lovely.

    Deb2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • The houseboat was a great stay! It's not actually floating on the water, but sits its pontoons on the edge of the pond. It has a wonderful patio and the inside is cozy and protected from the elements, while you still experience the peaceful nature outside. The houseboat is very close to the stone barn which has easy access to the kitchen, wifi, bathrooms, and showers which was a big plus. There are benches and chairs around are wonderful to relax in (and play with the cats that wander around). The extended property is beautiful! We walked along the river and hiked up to the summit and fairy gazebo which has excellent views! Definitely recommend. James was an excellent host! He was friendly and helpful, and he definitely made sure our stay was pleasant.

    Alexandra2019-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I had our honeymoon at the farm and had a blast!! We enjoyed conversations with the rotating cast of characters who live and visit the farm, walks along the serene Moss Mountain, and watching wildlife. The houseboat was extremely charming and cozy. The bathroom and kitchen are separate from the houseboat, but less than a minute walk. Bill and James were very friendly, interesting, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We’re already planning our next stay at Sticks and Stones Farm.

    Melissa2019-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • What a beautiful space to collect your thoughts! Sticks and stones was the perfect relaxation my mother and I needed from our daily lives. Sitting in the screen porch listening to frogs every night with candlelight was so relaxing. It's the perfect spot if you enjoy quiet or need some inspiration for art. The best and most unusual part was waking up with llamas walking past your window hahaha. If able, I do recommend the hike to the top to see moss mountain and the fairy lookout. Very beautiful and quite magical with the unique structures on the hike. The owners respected our private time but were also very accommodating when we had any questions. Lovely staff and lovely place.

    Sarah2019-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • This is a truly unique and amazing place, and the staff is so well suited to enhancing the peaceful, fun-loving vibe. I stayed on the houseboat (which is not actually floating, just close enough to marshes to hear the frogs jumping in the water along with the peaceful sound of a small and gentle waterfall), and Ii you're not sure how you feel about the rustic cabins and their location further up the mountain, I highly recommend staying on the boat for a few days to check things out. Boat is located conveniently to parking and the stone barn, which is the hub of the entire place. Convenience (nearby bathroom with shower, large commercial kitchen, wifi) AND amazing solitude (after 3 pm! summer camp takes place on the property til then, but I found the sounds from the campers to be joyful and energizing!) The bed on the houseboat is comfy, and while I was travelling solo, I felt completely safe and secure on this magical property.

    Lisa2019-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great "camping" for cityfolk/beginners! Since I'm not experienced in the outdoors, I liked having a roof over my head and access to a kitchen/bathroom/etc. Nice to have lots of friendly people nearby too, just in case. The riverboat house is peaceful and rustic - enjoy the relaxing view of the pond and waterfall.

    Melissa2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • You need a break, you need to relax, you need some fresh air, I’ll recommend you this place. This place is just incredible, the cabin is soooo beautiful, those people are so nice, everything was perfect. I want to go back as soon as I can

  • Place was amazing! Great space for my husband and myself to get away to. Lots of space for us to work, relax and enjoy the country with out going so far from home.

  • JoJo and Phil gave excellent hospitality in a space highly designed for creative work.

    Mike2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • JoJo and Phil's place is amazing. I went there and really allowed myself to absorb the idyllic serene and interesting space. The art supplies, yoga studio with mats and drums and bells... lovely. I love to be ensconced in a bed with a heavy cotton comforter and was not disappointed here. The soap stone sink was rustic and clear and clean. Working at the art drafting table, felt really grounding. I loved it all! JoJo showed me around with no fuss, and then left me to my own retreat. So lovely!! I look forward to my next visit to Newtown.

  • I’ve been using Airbnb consistently for 4 years and no where comes near the value of this place. The touches of hospitality and the perfect decorations made this the homiest Airbnb yet. I brought my dog and he loved it! Definitely planning to come back!!

  • Absolutely amazing! The photos were accurate, the hosts were quick to respond, everything was clean! We loved the amenities like the outdoor shower, hot tub, grill. They really thought of every little detail to make our stay comfortable!

  • The Little Lake Cabin was such an amazing space for our family to spend a fall week away! Jordyn and Gabby have done an excellent job providing everything a person needs to enjoy the cabin like it’s your home. We’ve traveled often and we’ve learned to always pack extra blankets, cleaning supplies, ziplock baggies, knives, a small cutting board, etc. We didn’t need ANY of these items at the cabin! It was completely spotless and completely stocked! There were even shower shoes provided! The welcome treats for us and our fur baby were so thoughtful, and Jordyn is easy to reach and responds quickly when we messaged her. And the s’mores bucket!! That made our boys day! We loved watching the wildlife every morning with our French press coffee...deer, wild turkeys, many types of birds, squirrels, and chipmunks. So peaceful! The cabin is in a great location. Far enough out that you enjoy starry nights and zero street noise, but close enough that gas and food are just minutes away. Groceries and gas are 10 minutes down the road, and if you are a Trader Joe’s junkie like me, it’s just 20 minutes away! The restaurants in town are delicious, the 440 Line is just at the bottom of the hill and had good food and fast carry out service. Portofino’s had our favorite pizza. And of course we hit the American Pie Company for breakfast and then for treats after hiking! Squantz Pond State Park is just a three minute drive away and the hike along the lake was fun and gorgeous! We also explored Kent, CT and the falls there, which are a family favorite. We have already recommended The Little Lake Cabin to numerous friends that will be traveling east next year and we will definitely will stay again! Do not hesitate to book this spot, you’ll love it!!

This cozy spacious studio apartment (not a shared space) has a private entrance. We are close to the train to NYC, SONO (South Norwalk), and the beach. You’ll love this place because of the quiet neighborhood, the comfy bed & cable TV, all utilities incl.
Private entrance & parking. Easy access to NYC and local nightlife (SONO and Downtown Stamford) - just minutes away. Separate dining area & living room. Includes free cable, wi-fi, and heat.
Quiet...great neighborhood for walking & biking. Close to Cranberry Park & town.
  • At the last minute, we needed a place to stay in the Norwalk area. Kathleen cheerfully took our reservation, which we appreciated so much! She returned all my emails promptly. Her checkin directions were so clear and concise, it was easy to get into the house, even arriving at night. There are motion lights in strategic spots which were very helpful. The studio is spotless! There is a comfortable living area, and the bedroom area has plenty of room to store clothes, including a hanging rack. I appreciated having the refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The bathroom is good sized with a soaking tub, I believe. The location is close to the center of town and the Merritt Parkway, perfect for us! Thank you Kathleen for the wonderful overnight!

  • The space was super cute and exactly what we needed. Wish it were warmer so we could enjoy the beautiful outdoor space. The bathroom looked brand new and was sparkling clean. It has a fridge and microwave with a dining table in a separated little kitchen area. Would definitely recommend if you’re staying in the Norwalk area.

    Adrienne2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Wow! The space is huge,.comfortable and clean! It is bigger than it appears in the listing pictures, and would be great for an extended stay. Check in was easy. The house is in a lovely neighborhood, and I felt very safe there as a solo female traveller. I slept well in the comfortable bed, and I very much appreciated having coffee and tea available in the morning. The area is convenient to major roads and I95. Would stay again without hesitation.

  • Olga is the ultimate hostess! We had such a fabulous stay with her, and appreciated her consideration and generous hospitality! We were able to order food from Whole Foods to be delivered for our stay, and loved the view and the garden path down to the stream! It truly is Zen House perfection!

  • ZenHouse is an amazingly serene, comfortable, home away from home. A place to soothe your in a beautiful setting. I experienced an exquisite reawakening in this enchanting space. Need to recharge? ZenHouse is for you. Olga was great, circumspect of privacy, with helpful suggestions to enhance your stay. I hope to return some day soon. Really, I want to live there forever!

    Jeanine2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Olga's place is truly magical. I felt like I was somewhere in a fairy tale while walking the grounds and being surrounded by the stone walls. The Zen House itself was very comfortable and luxurious. Olga was a great host answering any questions within less than an hour. We had complete privacy. I went there for a weekend getaway and I took my mother who was also desperate for some peace, quiet and nature. Both of us really enjoyed staying here, despite the cold weather of February. I wish I could have stayed longer, and I could only imagine how amazing it is during the Spring/ Summer months. I will definitely visit again!

This sweet little cottage on our pond is your perfect mini vacation with direct access to one of CT's best kept secrets, Huntington State Park is steps away. Peaceful and quiet you can also hike, bike, kayak, x/c ski and explore the countryside.
Our little cottage on the pond behind our house was built around 1920. We have recently updated it and kept its beautiful rustic charm. We hope our guests will enjoy all that nature has to offer here. The pond and woods are filled with the peaceful sights and sounds of myriad birds, frogs and wildlife.
Redding CT is a peaceful rural and historic town surrounded by similar towns, but each unique in historical, natural and architectural features. Many artists choose this area as home because the of the light and natural beauty. The cottage is nestled between Putnam Park and Huntington Sate Park. There are miles upon miles of great trails in this area and right out side the door step of this cottage! There are many farm stands, wine country tours, antiquing trails and cultural activities. Check out our guidebook for our recommendations of places to eat.
  • This little cottage was perfect for our escape from NYC during Thanksgiving. We were able to cook a full Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen, and the wood-fire stove was amazing. Jamie was quick to reply to our questions, and he gave some great tips about local hikes. We will definitely be coming back.

  • Couldn't recommend this place more. It's cozy, has a wood burning furnace for the winter and a tree swing for the summer. Shares a property with Jamie and Rose but very much feels like your own private cottage in the woods. My friend and I stayed here two nights and it was the most restful weekend holiday away from the city clamor. Enjoy!!

Newly renovated cottage, steps from private beach. Whether you enjoy walking, biking, swimming, fishing, kayaking, or the daunting task of napping in a shady hammock, this is the place is for you. Near Metro North and I-95, just an hour from Manhattan. Bring back memories of childhood summers—put your toes in the sand and your mind at ease, while enjoying the tranquility of this spectacular Long Island Sound getaway in Fairfield. Also, we have added Amazon Alexa and Fire Stick to our smart TV.
Our cottage is just steps from a private beach (directly across the street). Everything is newly renovated, but has that rustic seaside feel. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor space for a family getaway, with Wifi for connecting to the world and even more opportunities to disconnect as needed. Additionally, we're thrilled to announce our partnership with B:Hive Co-Working. We have opened a multi-level work space with views of the lake and waterfall, just about 3 miles from our charming Cottage by the Sea vacation rental. Our guests get a free day pass and discounted rates for more time, so they can give B:Hive a spin, or a buzz!
Admittedly, it would be easy to hide away here for a week or more, without making much contact with anyone other than the gulls. That being said, Fairfield is also rich in foodie and entertainment options. Food: From pasta to pizzas, seafood to sushi, barbecue to burgers, and way beyond, you'd be hard-pressed not to find something for everyone, just blocks from the cottage. Brews: There is also a major movement of local area micro-brews, available in and around Fairfield, for those in need of adult beverages. Tunes: There is plenty of great live music and entertainment at the Fairfield Theater Company and the Quick Center (Fairfield University), and one of the state's best weekly open mic night's at the Acoustic Cafe in Black Rock.
  • This is a great beach house for a family. They have thought of everything down to beach towels and toys. Great location. Super communication when we had questions.

    Linda2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • My family had an amazing stay here. Roomy enough to comfortably sleep four adults and two active kids, extremely clean, great hammocks and backyard. But the thing that made our stay remarkable was the superb customer service. Gabriela went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great time. After an intense evening storm, the umbrella on the back patio snapped and the curtain on the outdoor shower came down. She made sure that both were fixed the next morning. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing beach trip!

    Kate2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • The space was great! The hammocks were the best!

  • A wonderful value just a walkway away from a private beach. The August weekdays we stayed, we had the beach entirely to ourselves! Sweet quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds, plenty of seating and amenities for a group (we hosted 12 for dinner one night!), and a nice yard. We would go back in a heartbeat.

  • Absolute perfection! We received world-class service from Gabriella and team. Everything from initial booking to check out was well communicated. All my questions were answered quickly and thoroughly. The cottage is clean and well stocked with almost everything you could want for a beach vacation. And speaking of the beach, it is beautiful and we had it all to ourselves for most of our stay. I can't speak highly enough about our wonderful stay.

    Susan2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Loved this house. Great location and a great space for our family. We particularly enjoyed eating breakfast outside on the deck each morning. Kitchen was well equipped and the beds were very comfy. We stayed here for some quiet time after being in NYC and we didn't want to leave. Having access to the beach across the road was fantastic.

    Michele2019-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • What a lovely cottage! The location couldn’t be better, and the dedicated, direct access to the beach was so wonderful. Plus, the kitchen was so well stocked, which really makes a big difference in making you feel at home while away. There’s a great little deli a short 10 minute walk down the way - breakfast and lunch sandwiches from Abello’s are a must while you’re there! The home is very well cared for and clean, and we felt the size was perfect for four adults and one very large dog. Oh! And the hammocks on the patio in the backyard are the best! Highly recommend you staying here on your next visit to Fairfield Beach!

An adorable cabin for one person in close proximity to our main barn with all of the amenities you might need. Please note that Sticks and Stones Farm is a drug and alcohol free property and we request that all of our guests respect and adhere to our policy. Thank you!
You will love this one room miniature cabin nestled next to our front pond and the Pootatuck River. It is darling with a 6' long single bed, dresser, lamp, two windows for cross ventilation and a front door that looks out on the pond and waterfall. We provide towels and drinking water in the cabins. PLEASE keep in mind this cabin is very very small and can only accommodate one person whom is LESS than 6 feet tall. The Little House is located between the Stone Barn and River House Boat so while it is easily accessible it is not as private as other cabins. We cannot guarantee that there will not be something going on at the stone barn during your stay so we advise you to check with us before booking if that is a concern. PLEASE NOTE -The bathroom is not located in the cabin. Both the bathroom and showers are located next door in the Stone Barn.
Though there is lots to do in the town of Newtown, Monroe, Easton and Fairfield, surrounding Sticks and Stones Farm, most guests prefer to kick back, stay put and enjoy the quiet energy of the farm setting.
  • I stayed near the Stone Barn, which has a wonderful communal feel about it. There are many more areas to explore!

  • I was on a bike journey from Ottawa to Florida when I stayed here. It was way more than I expected for sure! I’m so happy I got to stay here while exploring Connecticut! Being here made my bike trip so much more amazing, the nature at sticks and stones farm is exactly what everyone wants to find! And the people working there are amazing! The bed was so comfortable! I’ll definitely be back with my friends and family for a longer stay!

  • Great place for someone that wants to step away from reality into nature. the waterfall pond outside is very relaxing to fall asleep to. You can hear all the animals, and during the week they have llamas hiking through the woods with a third party company. I was able to bring my ESA dog which was great. Amazing trails on site for families and beginners, with a moss garden and a large organic garden for a local pantry. There are lots of hidden spots to sit and relax throughout the property. I spent 3 days here and did not have to leave, food can be delivered. The kitchen in the beautiful stone barn is fully equipped and very large since it is used to feed camps. The shower is very clean since it is shared with someone that lives on property year-round. Keep in mind, the listing is a shed turned into tiny home, it has a fan and light but the bed can only fit someone 5'5 and under, most likely not two people comfortably.

  • Awesome little cabin in front of a beautiful pond situated near the stone barn. Would definitely recommend and return. Had a great time and the cabin was very clean

  • The little house is so cozy. An amazing experience for a solo traveller. If you're worried about feeling spooked the wi-fi is a great backup help.

  • This is an amazing space for a personal or group retreat with various cabins to unplug and recharge. The grounds are beautiful with hiking trails, gardens, a labyrinth, moss walk, and a yoga/ meditation studio available in the main barn area. The community style kitchen was clean and well organized with space in the fridge for guests to store and prep their food. This was a bright and friendly space, and am thankful to have the opportunity to have shared this space.

  • Rustic peace and tranquility. Slept to the sound of the waterfall and crickets, watched over by the Buddha, stretched out in the yoga class.

    Nancy2018-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • The little cabin was just what I needed and sticks and stones farm was the perfect magical place to re-connect with myself. Sam was an amazing host and if you are lucky enough to meet here, you will certainly understand. Everything was just perfect...for me :)

We have a lovely old farmhouse with a separate apt. upstairs. Private entrance. Furnished. The grounds are lovely with almost 2 acres of land. We're located on a quiet dead end street on the Waterbury / Naugatuck line. We offer off street parking. There are 2 bedrooms with plenty of closet space and a full bathroom with tub and shower. The living room is spacious with a couch and chairs and TV. There's also a private deck off of the living room. Our apt. is also listed on Furnished Finders.
  • As this platform gets saturated with everyone wanting to rent their spare rooms, it is a breath of fresh air to meet other hosts that know hospitality, don’t take shortcuts, and provide great value. I highly recommend Kim’s place to others. She is only several bookings away from Superhost. Reserve early as her 2nd FL private-space full apartment has potential to market for much higher nightly rates.

Our perfect escape is just under two hours away and includes everything you need to relax, including: high-speed internet & wifi, speaker system throughout the house, projector, espresso machine, jacuzzi bath, a wood burning fireplace, a hot tub with a priceless view of the Hudson Valley, outdoor firepit and more. Get away from the city without having to spend four hours stuck in traffic! Your temporary haven is also conveniently close to many ski areas and a variety of beautiful hikes.
Relax in our large, cozy home nestled in the woods that we lovingly call ‘The Perch! Just the view alone from our deck and from inside our ample 6-person hot tub in the backyard is worth making the trip. Perfect for larger families or singles/couples that want to stretch their legs, our home has 3 comfortable bedrooms (two equipped with one king size bed each, one with a queen size) on the main floor and the loft. Two of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and the other has easy access to the entrance bathroom. Additional sleeping space is available on the basement floor with four twin XL beds that typically act as couches with limited privacy between them and a bathroom nearby, plus an additional 2 queen and 3 twin xl air mattresses to be setup anywhere in the house. All bathrooms are equipped with shampoo, soap, conditioner and towels. During summers, keep cool with our central A/C and rest assured you’ll keep warm during cooler weather with forced air heating plus a backup baseboard heating system (we also have a 20Kw backup generator). Bring some marshmallows or a good book to snuggle in front of our wood burning fireplace in the Great Room, where you can also enjoy records or digital music from Spotify, controlled via an iPad. WiFi enabled speakers are available in two bedrooms, the deck and outdoor area, the living room, and hot tub area (equipped with fresh towels) — you can also ask, "Alexa" or "Computer" to play music in most rooms. For those that prefer analog activities, we've got a bunch of board games and puzzles in the living room, from classics like Monopoly and Settlers of Catan to Kickstarter favorites like Cards Against Humanity. Bookworms can cozy up in our dedicated reading nook with a view, and if you forgot yours, you can borrow one from our small library in the downstairs bedroom/study. Entertainment can be found in our finished basement, including: a pool table, a full band setup (drum set, guitar, bass, keyboard), and a high quality 4K movie projector. There's also a sit/stand desk and a 28" external monitor if you have to take care of any work or need a place to work on your novel. To print something in a pinch, or to lookup that recipe, you can use a Mac Mini in our kitchen connected to a color printer. Chefs, bakers and dinner party enthusiasts will delight in our fully-equipped kitchen that includes: an electric oven and stove top, microwave, dishwasher, and subzero refrigerator/freezer, standing mixer, blender, crock pot, food processor, cappuccino maker, and more. Depending on the season, you can also enjoy the bounty of fresh vegetables and herbs from our outdoor garden during your stay. The deck also has a 3-burner Weber grill for any impromptu BBQ parties. Outdoor sports fans can find footballs, soccer balls, a bike, cornhole set, a bocce set, and various other sports equipment in a guest-accessible shed. We have our very own hike on the property that takes around 30 minutes called the Turkey Trail that can be accessed from the driveway. We do allow dogs for an additional $100 cleaning fee.
Our neighborhood is very quiet. It's residential, but we're on enough land with a long enough driveway for the house to feel very private. We're near a bunch of ski areas, lakes, ponds, hiking trails (including an Appalachian Trail waypoint), and just a hop skip and a jump from Woodstock, the Hudson Valley wine region, etc.
  • The Perch was simply perfect!!!!!! There were more alexa speakers, kitchen cooking gadgets, and activities to do than we could shake a stick at! We will 1000% be staying here again in the near future!

  • Amazing place for groups!

    John2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at the perch far exceeded our expectations. We recommend it to everyone. Such a tranquil get away with enough room for a larger group of people, but was very quaint for two.

    Jennifer2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Zach was a great host. He was really communicative about check in and house rules, and anything else I needed answers to the whole stay. The house itself had everything we needed and in a great location. We would definitely recommend.

    Jeff2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Bernadette and Zach's home is so beautiful with the wood accents, hill top view, and lofted cabin space. We had a large 10+ group on our trip but everyone was comfortable with the many additional pull out beds and 4 baths. The thoughtful touches like the plethora of books, board games, cooking utensils, and smart home made the trip extra fun and effortless. Lastly there's some great unique amenities like a hot tub, band set, and mini hiking trail!

    Karen2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This was our 2nd time staying at the Perch and everything was great. Will definitely be back in the future.

    Sam2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • It is a beautiful house, perfect for weekend getaway. The house was very nicely decorated, quiet and peaceful.

    Sung Min2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • The Perch is one of my favorite Airbnb homes I’ve ever stayed in. It has everything you need to relax and go off the grid, but also all the conveniences you might need to stay connected too. From the beautiful furnishings and spacious rooms to the stunning view to the modern technological amenities, this place really has everything! We spent evenings playing pool, relaxing in the hot tub, and unwinding in front of the cozy fireplace with a glass of wine. There is a fantastic sound system and tons of board games at your disposal too. And the beds were super comfy! The place was so big, we just kept saying “I don’t think we brought enough people!” But at the same time, it is perfect and cozy for just a couple too. We loved it so much, we just couldn’t wait to book again! Can’t wait to go back to The Perch again next month :)

Just across from our beautiful stone and moss labyrinth, this unique "spaceship" style cabin built on an old pontoon boat offers peace and seclusion with only the babbling brook to hear. It's also our only dog-friendly cabin. Please note that Sticks and Stones Farm is a drug and alcohol free property. Please respect and adhere to this policy.
This unique "spaceship" built on an old pontoon boat will be sure to offer seclusion with only the babbling brook to hear. The lodge is screened and glassed in. Think of it as a glorified tent! It can be rather creaky because it is made of recycled materials but the integrity of the structure is sound. The bed is lofted 10 feet off the ground and is accessible only by a ladder. Also please be advised that the bathroom and shower facilities are located a few minute walk away in the stone barn. This cabin has small LED lights and drinking water. The lodge has a stone table and chairs, a private fire pit and a small charcoal grill. PLEASE NOTE -The bathroom is not located in the cabin. Both the bathroom and showers are located a few minute walk away in the Stone Barn Once you book we ask that you keep us updated on your arrival time so that we can be sure to be ready and waiting for you!   We ask that all guests arrive before dark   Guests arriving after 10pm will be required to pay an additional $20 late check in fee in cash upon arrival. The kitchen has cookware, plates, french press, utensils, a stove, grill, coolers with ice, olive oil, salt/pepper, drinking water and running water! Lighting is limited and provided by LED lanterns - we always encourage people to bring their own additional lighting. There are three large designated fire pits on the property. Some cabins also have their own fire pits which is noted in their individual descriptions. Fires are not allowed to be made in undesignated places! Only YOU can prevent forest fires! Fire wood is available for an additional fee of $5 per bundle. Upon arrival we will provide you with a map and your own cooler with ice. We ferry our guests and their belongings up to their cabin at check in and upon check out but please remember that during your stay you will be traveling on foot! We cannot allow cars to drive up and down the mountain. At the minimum if you are a large party you can initially drive your car up to unload but will have to park at the base before dark. Please remember this when packing and planning your initial grocery provision trip. Most of the cabins are a 10-20 minute walk through the woods, depending on your speed. We do not allow private cars to drive up the mountain. NO EXCEPTIONS! We restock ice and other goods daily and thus try to make ourselves as available and accommodating to changing needs as possible - we are are on the property 24 hours a day in case of emergency.                                     Important Things to Note - We do not provide breakfast. - Verizon wireless is the only network to have service throughout the property. Nearly all other providers have service on the top of the mountain where the majority of our cabins are located but it is still undependable at best.  - Dogs are not allowed to stay in any of our cabins (other than the Labyrinth Lodge) unless they are service animals. - Please be advised that we are not solely an Airbnb Host; while we aim to accommodate you as best as possible, there are sometimes other events going on that may affect your stay. We recommend you check our calendar of events prior to booking.  -There are three outdoor showers, one is located near the stone barn, two are located near the Rustic Kitchen area.  - An outhouse that is cleaned weekly is located near the Rustic kitchen, Mtn. Laurel cabin, Summit cabin and Pagoda cabin and a two room state of the art composting toilet is shared between the Grand cabin and Log cabin - both a one minute walk away - We have a wilderness camp that runs Monday - Friday from 9am - 3pm in the summer: Campers and staff respect the privacy of the cabins but you might see some groups of children building forts, singing songs, or tracking animals through the forest.  - Please be aware that depending on rain fall the property is at risk of drought in the late summer. This can sometimes cause the pond levels to drop making it less scenic for some. - None of the cabins except the River House Boat and Little House have electricity- fans are provided in these cabins - There is a Stop and Shop grocery store located 2.5 miles from the farm where all groceries can be purchased. - If you arriving via metro north you want to get off at Bridgeport and from there you can call for an Uber car or taxi. - Candles are not allowed in the cabins - We do have wi-fi in the main stone barn
Though there is lots to do in the towns of Newtown, Monroe, Easton and Fairfield, surrounding Sticks and Stones Farm, most guests prefer to kick back, stay put and enjoy the quiet energy of the farm setting.

The amenities available (kitchen, cooking utensils, food, etc.) made the stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. The property itself is gorgeous. There are tons of hiking trails, a labyrinth and a swimming hole. Everything is gorgeous and well taken care of. If you’re looking for a weekend away or a romantic getaway this place is perfect! • It was a nice place, very small but everything you would need. Check in was very easy and Lucia was pretty responsive. It was very clean and well decorated. It was a little loud at times but we aren’t light sleepers so it was fine. I would stay here again.

No ugly duckling. Fall asleep to the sounds of a centurys-old waterfall in this sunny studio apartment, atop a renovated historic Mill. With panoramic views and breathtaking surroundings, including endless flora and fauna, and a contingent of mallards, egrets, and swans, this hideaway may be moments from Southport Village, but feels like many miles from everything. Original hardwood floors and updated amenities make for a charming place to rest your bones, if only for the evening.
This stunning, historic studio apartment is located atop a renovated Mill along side a breathtaking pond and waterfall. Original hardwood floors, exposed wooden beams and thoughtful furnishings, embrace the historic setting. With multiple windows and skylights,it is bright, airy, and filled with views. There is plenty of room for up to four people to prepare and enjoy intimate meals while viewing the beautiful Mill pond below. We also have high speed Wi-Fi and a desk / work space area making this an ideal location for business travelers. If you wish to lounge on a beach, we are less than 2 miles from Lighthouse Point. We have parking spaces for those guests who want to experience the serenity of Fairfield Beach in Summer. If you are here on business We're thrilled to announce our partnership with B:Hive Co-Working. We have opened a multi-level work space with views of the lake and waterfall, just downstairs from this charming studio vacation rental. Our guests get a free day pass and discounted rates for more time, so they can give B:Hive a spin, or a buzz.
We are located right on the Westport / Southport town line. These two beautiful, quaint, coastal New England towns, have so much to offer, I don't know where to start. First, they are beach towns, so that may be a good starting point. Plenty of public beaches to choose from. Next, both towns are steeped in history (they were settled in 1639) with magnifient historic homes. They also have an incredible array of restaurants and night life to choose from. And, it is a rare individual who has not heard of Westport's Main Street for its fabulous shops and restaurants. I should also mention we are minutes from the Metro North train station. A trip into Manhattan is about an hour away!
  • Once again an exceptional stay! We really enjoy the feng shui of the space the creaky wood floors and all the amenities provided. One thing we noticed was that it was slightly noisy with traffic. But nothing we were too bothered by. (Since it’s a historic building and being so close to the road) But the white noise machine provided really helped. We will be sure to recommend this space and visit again soon!

  • Two-for-the-price of one! This charming studio was just as cute and beautifully decorated in person as shown in the photos. Right beside a babbling brook, yet close to everything in town, this spacious studio had everything I needed for a three-day work trip—including access to the B-hive coworking space downstairs. I made calls in the quiet space overlooking the brook and had a wonderful time. And no need to bring anything, the studio has it all, including welcome snacks! Gerard, the host, even met me to let me in and I had a great time chatting with him throughout the stay. For visitors looking for a welcoming and attentive host, this studio is for you!

  • Great Gull Island Studio was the perfect location and perfect oasis for our Valentine's weekend! Upon entering we were greeted by a stunning studio with beautiful exposed refinished beams, amazing and thoughtful decor, beautiful art, and an extremely comfortable bed. My husband and I had such a peaceful and relaxing stay here that this will forever be our go-to Airbnb. Gerard was very sweet and thoughtful checking in to make sure our check-in was smooth. As Airbnb hosts ourselves we felt inspired by such an amazing use of space. The B:hive coworking space below was the cherry on top. A beautiful and relaxing environment to focus on completing tasks. This studio was such a lovely place to wind down. We will definitely be booking again!

    Sheena2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We really didn’t want to leave! It has been one of our favorite experiences for several reasons: communication with the host provided answers to any questions immediately, the space was so inviting, beautiful, and clean that every moment spent in the Airbnb was sweet and relaxing, location was perfect especially because we didn’t have a car but restaurants and grocery stores and train stations were just a walk away. It’s got a cute little shower with a window looking out onto the stream, a bed that’s a dream, top-notch kitchen and cooking amenities, and the atmosphere is perfect for what we were looking for! If you want to sleep in a bed that feels like it’s made of clouds and you are looking for a cute quite place but not too far from town attractions or events, then this is the place for you!

    Callan2020-02-10T00:00:00Z

The 600sq suite is totally private with a awesome backyard to hang out and relax and enjoy, this is NOT a shared space (total private)...it has your own private walk-in entrance/exit, private bathroom, very stylish, clean, and satisfying. we also offer a coffee machine, microwave, refrigerator, and 2 HD Tv' s one for video games .(jus ask for the spare tv before arriving)! The suite also has a kitchenette (no stove) great natural lightning thru the windows and has a queen size bed, cot, and couch. The air mattress must be asked in advance to be set up, too sleep multiple people for your convenience. There is lots of extra amenities. It comes with Hd cable, hot coffee/water machine, and fast internet speed. Located in a great spot in ansonia hilltop (outskirt of new haven) 5 mins to all major highways, hospitals, college's, bars, and restaurant's. You wont be disappointed.. pictures cannot describe this place, better than any hotel space or Airbnb in the area! READ MY REVIEWS.. =)
located on the "hilltop" area of Ansonia (outskirt of new haven) very children friendly, quiet, and peaceful neighborhood on a private cul-de-sac home, great alternative than a hotel. If you like to walk or jog there is a great track that can be used, and also has a excellent location close to all highways (Rt 8, Merritt park way rt 15, 95, 91, and 84) major cities (New haven, west haven, bridgeport, wtb, milford, orange and shelton) hospital's (Yale, Griffin, St Vincent, and bridgeport hospital) and schools (Yale, scsu, post, sacret heart, and unh) . There is also plenty of shopping in the area to have fun out in the town and to have dinner downtown. you can also uber, or take the local train to your destination which is very affordable.
  • Great Communication from host, very easy check in and a comfortable bed. The room is in the basement, with the entrance from the backyard. The bathroom and stand up shower stall, worked out for me but I was by myself.

This newly-renovated Beach House is just steps from a sandy, sprawling private shoreline oasis, with gorgeous panoramic water views of Long Island Sound. Bring your flip-flops, a good book, and your favorite people. We'll provide the rest, from unending fresh air, a stunning East Coast sunrise, unrivaled beach access, and close proximity to all things downtown Fairfield—including the Metro North train line. Though we're roughly an hour ride from Manhattan, you'll feel far far away from it all.
The entire Beach House is available for guests. This elevated beach house has endless views of the Long Island Sound along with two decks. There are four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and an open space dining, living and kitchen area. It is a true Fairfield Beach house with ecclectic "beachy" furnishings and amenities. However, we have included modern touches like an Amazon Alexa/Sonos system, an Apple tablet to control thermostats, locks, and lights and also allow streaming of movies, music, and shows. The Smart TV has cable and Amazon Fire Stick. So, while we have attempted to re-create the beach house you remember from childhood days, we added some creature comforts to help you keep one foot in the present. The outside space is ideal for family gatherings. We have renovated the space under the house, along with a spacious back yard to accommodate large gatherings. You can cook on the BBQ grill and dine at sea level for large gatherings, or prepare your meals in our newly renovated kitchen and dine at loftier heights with a view. Better still, you can order food from one of the great restaurants in the area and let someone else do the cooking. There is only a small footpath between you and the beach, so you can go swimming or fishing anytime you choose. We will supply the setting and accommodations, all you need to do is supply the lust for life! Additionally, we're thrilled to announce our partnership with B:Hive Co-Working. We have opened a multi-level work space with views of the lake and waterfall, just about 3 miles from our Beach House on Lighthouse Point. Our guests get a free day pass and discounted rates for more time, so they can give B:Hive a spin, or a buzz!
Great Gull’s home is located in Fairfield, Connecticut, United States.
  • This property is nicely updated, very clean, and a less than 2 minute walk to the beach. My family had a wonderful vacation here and are considering renting again next year.

  • A very charming place that was sparkling clean. A short walk to two beaches, one private and Penfield Beach which was great for children. Less than 15 minutes away from tons of shops and restaurants. Loved the grassy backyard for backyard games and the outside shower for convenience after a day at the beach. Loved the unique feature of Alexa and other smart capabilities within the home. All-in-all was a wonderful stay and would stay again.

  • Don’t hesitate booking this lovely Fairfield home! It was our first time booking with Gerard and Great Gull Properties. We have stayed at other rentals and none have compared to our stay at this beach house. Gerard’s attentiveness to our questions, the painless check in and check out, the cleanliness of the home and it’s many amenities were above and beyond what we anticipated. We are hoping to rent another one of their beautiful properties in the future. After our stay here, our expectations have been set high, and it will be hard to find another rental that matches their standards!
