  • Charming cabin in a beautiful location. Warm and cozy interior with nice touches and a great bed and bathroom. Keri was a great host and made it a super easy process!

  • what a magical stay ! such a cozy cottage with a lovely view. We had a fantastic stay with the fur kids at Keri's Cottage. The communication was great and the recommendations. We also would love to go during the summer and explore more of the area. The late night camp fire as a family was wonderful and they started it for us, so when we got back it was already warm and cooking. The bed was comfortable and floors heated. We can not wait to come nack.

    Gleish2020-02-13T00:00:00Z

Private, rural, quiet location. New apartment with separate entrance and self check in. All four seasons are beautiful here for hiking, biking, swimming and fishing. Lovely walks from the property. Hunter: “My Girlfriend and I had an amazing stay, the place was beautiful, and private. Bill and His wife Laurie were very thoughtful hosts, they even baked us banana bread when we checked in, Great location close to many tourist areas, Bill even lent us his Kayaks and took us to a beautiful lake. All in All an amazing trip, and hope to stay again.”
Beautiful four season, wooded recreational area.
  • Perfect experience! Laurie and Bill were very sweet and accommodating. The apartment was homey and clean. They had great ideas of activities to do in the area. Buck and Bailey were friendly and were welcoming to our dog! Thank you for making our weekend great!

    Billy2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This was the nicest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at; The pictures don’t even do it justice. The location and charm of the apartment is well worth the price and Laurie and Bill were so sweet and showed amazing hospitality by providing snacks and essentials, and don’t forget that delicious banana bread! You can tell they put a lot of thought into making sure anyone who stays here is comfortable and taken care of. We had a short stay here, just to explore the area and visit a few places, but I definitely plan on coming back to either have at the trails by foot in the summer or try my chances with snowmobiling next winter which seems to be a New Hampshire favorite. Peaceful, serene and beautiful!

    Amelia2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Laurie and Bill are amazing hosts. Their mountain home is the ideal New England dream. Their space is clean, very spacious, reasonably priced and “looks & feels” like New Hampshire. They helped me find a mechanic for my vehicle when I needed (minor issue), welcomed us with fresh banana bread and had the driveway plowed when we arrived. We arrived during a snowstorm. I have a Xterra and had no problem getting to their place. I would definitely recommend having all wheel drive or a 4x4 to get in at least during the winter. Our three night stay was awesome. There is awesome xc skiing just ten minutes away. Plus all the other stuff that the White Mountains have to offer. We hope to return sometime to further our adventures in the mountains. Thank you both so much.

    Mark2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful and very comfortable apartment attached you the owners home. Private entrance but they also allowed us to walk the property with our pup! Very cozy inside with a very comfortable bed! 45 min from loon mountain which was perfect!

    Suzanne2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful getaway. My only tip - they're not kidding about needing a vehicle with all-wheel drive! We lucked out with a warm weekend, otherwise my car may have really struggled with the driveway. Laurie checked in before my arrival so I knew what to expect, thankfully. It's a beautiful, cozy cabin in a secluded location. Access to firewood and private trails in the area. We drove in to Lincoln every day of our stay, which was a lovely drive. Found something new to appreciate each trip. There are several thoughtful touches in the AirBnB, from delicious baked goods and snacks to a helpful guide to the local area. Wouldn't hesitate in the slightest to stay here again.

    Devin2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Laurie and Bill were wonderful hosts. The area is beautiful and the view is awesome! Our dog loved roaming the property with Buck and Bailey. Laurie and Bill’s place had everything we needed! The banana bread was delicious and a nice touch!

    Andrea2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Laurie and Bill were such kind hosts! The night we arrived, we drove our non-4WD, non-snow tired car to their place and got stuck along their driveway. A minute after messaging them, Bill came with his truck to tow our car and Laurie came with her car to help porter our luggage to the top of the hill. The next day after a large snowfall, we woke up to find that our car was already cleared off thanks to Bill! Whatever questions we had throughout our trip, Bill and Laurie responded immediately. The view from the home is absolutely breathtaking - you can see the mountains out the windows. We ended up spending a lot more time in the neighborhood and in the house than originally planned because the surroundings were so gorgeous. Thank you for a relaxing stay!

    Doris2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Laurie and Bill are great hosts. They made us feel very welcome, and the place is clean and cozy. If you have any questions on where to eat in the area or what to do, they will gladly point you in the right direction. They also have very friendly dogs!!

  • D Acres was a great place to stay. A few friends drove in to meet us for a weekend of climbing. We originally were planning to camp, but given the cold temps decided to try out D Acres Yoga room. It was easy to check-in, lots of friendly folks and super affordable. We plan on staying here again next weekend since it will be a bit too cold to camp.

    Sunny2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was sadly only two days but we had such a great time! Everyone working on the farm was so nice and we met very interesting people. Rich was so kind to explain so many cool and interesting things about plants and we learned a lot. We would come again anytime! Oh and the cooking was very fun and the food was great.

    Sabine2019-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • This is a wonderful peace filled place with wonderful people, amazing fresh farm to table food, and a true respect for our planet. The homestead was meticulously built with amazing woodworking details. We stayed in the Library Loft space which was full of terrific books on a variety of topics. For a unique experience on a farm, in the foothills of the White Mountains, you must stay here. Book direct at DAcres.org

  • This place is absolutely awesome. Make sure you have dinner because it’s incredible. We stayed in the library loft and it was so cozy and fun to read before bed! So much fun to look around and explore the farm. Very clean and charming inside. My only regret is not having breakfast but we had to get an early start. Would definitely stay again in a heartbeat!

    Shirley2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • D Acres is an awesome place to stay! My boyfriend and I stayed there during a weekend climbing at Rumney. They offer yummy, very reasonably priced farm fresh breakfast, a variety of options for accommodations (private room, camping, shared room), and are in a great location for pretty much any activity in the White Mountains. We’ll definitely be back.

    Veronica2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Very good place. I have not seen that much stars before I was there. Very special experience! We took the wrong room, but they were very nice. We love the yummy breakfast!

    Yang2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful place to stay and to explore!

    Avery2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • This was such a lovely and different kind of mini vacation. We came to D Acres after visiting Rumney to do some rock Climbing. We arrived exhausted and were escorted to our beautiful loft room above the library. The farm house is gorgeous—every woodworked detail is custom made and so lovely. The sense of community and warmth emanates from every corner. And the farm fresh breakfast was the best I’ve ever had!! If you’re excited about getting a taste off communal farm living this is a great choice for you!!

    Katie2019-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • The farm is a special feature. It is as if it were a family and you immediately have a family member. We really enjoyed it, and immediately helped with the cooking and washing up. The following day also helped with cooking and searching for mushrooms in the forest before meals. Great experiences and nice encounters with many people. Our private room was small but nice.

    Maarten2019-08-01T00:00:00Z

Three room treehouse with huge windows in a reading room area set at the end of a field looking towards Mt Moosilauke. Walking trail to the river is outside your door. Like camping but better! Surrounded by forest and fields. w/ your own Firepit. We are a 10 min drive from many trailheads, two access points to the AT, Rumney Rocks (trails and world famous rock climbing). Note: You cannot drive to the treehouse. There is a cart at the parking area about a 5 minute walk from treehouse.
Have a White Mountains farm experience and a tree house stay all at once. Currier Brook farm is a 250+ yr old, 22 acre working farm located along the Baker River. The tree house is located along the forest line in the back pasture. It has three small rooms plus a sleeping nook. One of the rooms has large picture windows for walls and makes for a comfortable space to read while enjoying the outdoors inside. The tree house is equipped with a camping propane stove, cast iron skillets, utensils, plates, bowls, drinking vessels and potable water containers. **We provide an ample supply of potable water at the treehouse. There is an indoor composting toilet and a solar shower bag. Fire ring and charcoal grill are also at the tree house area. Enjoy walking, running or mountain biking along the extensive old railroad trail that cuts through the farm and goes from Montreal to Central NH. Like hiking or climbing? We are 10 mins from Rumney Rocks, Mt Moosilauke, and sections of the AT. Planning to hike the AT and need a ride to the farm? We may be able to provide transport with advance notice. Animals that currently reside on the farm include dogs, cats, and Icelandic Sheep. The tree house is far enough away from the workings of the farm and the farm house that you can expect privacy unless you initiate a visit to the farm area. You will need to walk in all of your belongings unless we are available to use the lawn tractor and trailer to take it back. It is a 5 minute walk from where you will park. NO ELECTRICITY. Bring your headlamps, lanterns, etc ***NEW*** Propane heater buddy available (safe to use inside). Propane provided. If you decide to use there will be a $10 charge for propane.
In the White Mountains with access to the Baker River, Mt Mooselauke, a short drive to Woodstock and Lincoln, close by to outdoor adventures of all kinds.
  • Just book it already! Better than camping out in a tent with the same vibe. Absolutely stunning property close to all the attractions in the area. It’s a unique place to stay and a trip you’ll remember for sure.

    Donny2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed with My Mom and Doggo for a quick trip. It was a lovely experience even though it was raining a bit when we arrived. The host helped answer our questions when we arrived too!

    Stephanie2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • This was the first airbnb I’ve stayed at and it was a beautiful, new experience. At first I was hesitant when I saw it only because I’ve never been without electricity or stayed anywhere like this but it grew on me within only an hour or two. It’s very intimate especially if you’re here with someone and I keep thinking about it and wanting to go back. It’s definitely not for everyone. It gets very cold at night and you have to do pretty much everything yourself from washing dishes to cooking, etc. It was definitely a new experience for us but I quickly learned that I am that type of person! Its quite a bit of a walk; the hardest part was taking our stuff back and forth but the location and everything was beautiful. Again its definitely not for everyone but if you’re into that stuff or want to try to be or get away it can be quite a life-changing experience. I learned a lot about myself and my partner even though we were only there a couple days. I brought my dog and he was ridiculously in love with it. It made me have a different perspective of everything when we left. I was actually quite sad to go back home. We will definitely, without a doubt, go back. Hopefully, fingers crossed, next year.

  • Wonderful cabin in a beautiful setting

    Kamila2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful getaway in the mountains of NH. If you are looking to disconnect in a quaint space with lots of land to explore, look no further. The stars were some of the best I’ve ever seen!!

    Jack2019-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Great little place in the woods.

    Lori2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Such a cool place to stay! The treehouse was amazing. We had a great time and definitely recommend staying here. The air mattress was pretty cozy. Make sure to bring blankets because it did get chilly in the treehouse in the mornings. The atmosphere was great, the string lights were so pretty on the trees. There were a lot of nice touches from the owner like candles, books, bug spray, toilet paper and a game board.

Try the tiny life! Adorable tiny home on wheels, built on a 22’ trailer. Nestled in Hill, NH, but with so much to do...We are 8 miles from Ragged Mountain Ski Resort, 26 miles from White Mountain National Forest, and just a few feet away from snowmobile trails that extend all the way into Canada. Please visit our website littlehouseintheboro to learn more.
The tiny house is parked near our barn, off a quiet dirt road in Hill, NH. It includes a kitchen with the basics, a small bathroom with shower and rv-style toilet, a queen bed in the loft, and a twin bed on the main floor. We rarely use AC, but there is a window unit and also an electric fireplace for cool evenings. We haven’t yet figured out how to get cable and WiFi down to the tiny house. The TV has a DVD player and HDMI port. Depending on what cell service you have, reception may or may not be good. That being said, the outdoors is why most people visit, so we hope you won’t miss the technology.
The beauty of central NH is beyond compare. Lakes, rivers, mountains, forests... We really have it all!
  • Beautiful, quiet property. Gorgeous tiny house and excellent hosts. Far enough away, but close enough if you want a nice dinner or drinks...Amenities are great - a nice little surprise! We had a great time and will be recommending the tiny house to our friends!

  • Barbara’s Tony house was an absolute perfect little getaway. It was very spacious even for being a tiny house. It had great amenities. Highly recommend anyone who wants to experience a tiny house this is the one to try out !

  • I had a blast living the tiny life! Barb provided everything you could imagine to make it a home away from home. If you’re new to the area, there’s a binder with plenty of restaurant suggestions to check out. It’s located in a beautiful, peaceful area and I’ll surely be coming back.

The host was very thoughtful and intentional with communication and recommendations, which we really appreciated. *We strongly suggest following the written out directions even though they seem cumbersome instead of putting address in GPS. For us, the GPS kept taking us through the literal forest, not a real road.* Lovely spot to stay in especially in the fall!!

  • Barbara is a great host. I arrived to find a plant gracing the reception table and a bowl of fresh fruit. So very welcoming. She checked in to be sure I didn’t need anything or have any questions. The fall scenery was magnificent.

  • Kyle was very prompt with any concerns or questions that I had. The place was very nicely decorated and clean. I will be renting again on my next adventure in VT!

  • Kyle was a great host. He was always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. He was quick to reply, and he supplied us with everything we needed! It was clean and very nicely furnished.

    Olivia2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean, comfortable Airbnb . We loved the common space, lots of room and comfy sofas in a nice big open space with a big TV set up with several streaming options, and adjacent to a nice dining area. Bedrooms were comfortable and quiet. And, the host (Kyle) was very quick to respond.

    Richard2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Kyle was on top of it

    Michael2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • You can't beat the value of this place. It is two airbnb's in one building and the noise does carry, but if you read the owner's description, he is very clear about this. We got to spread out in a very large space. Kyle was very quick with answering my questions and guided me to some great places to hike. My daughter was there to study and got a lot done while curled up on the comfortable couch. There is wifi and tv, a full kitchen and we were warm. The beds were comfy and the place was warm. We had a great time. Thank you, Kyle. I definitely want to use one of your places again.

    Richard2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We thank Brooke for her wonderful welcome. Brooke answered our questions very well and within a reasonable time. Plan to do the grocery shopping before, as the amenities are rather far away. The accommodation is very beautiful and the kitchen is very complete. We keep a very good memory, thank you again!

  • Exactly as advertised! Kyle is a wonderful host. All of the recommendations were so helpful, and the place is gorgeous. I stayed at a MUCH more expensive Airbnb the night before staying at Kyle’s place and it did not have even half of the amenities that Kyles home did. The coffee station and cabinet full of spices were so helpful for someone trying to pack light! The TV and wifi were easy to use and I had no issue finding the place!

    Michele2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great condo and responsive host. It was my first time visiting Vermont and Kyle was able to provide a helpful list of recommendations. Convenient location if you are looking to visit Dartmouth and King Flour Bakery. We would definitely stay here again.

Chic style with all the comforts of home. Lots of custom woodwork. Parking directly in front of entrance. 2 Miles from coffee shop and restaurants. 35 min to Cannon, Under 30 min from Waterville, Loon, and lots of hiking trails.
The space is the entire first floor of our place. It has its own entrance, entry way/mud room area for shoes, coats and other outdoor stuff. Then an all open concept with a full bath. We have done all our own custom wood trim work to give a unique quality look and feel you won’t find anywhere else.
Our neighborhood is a farm type setting. 2 of our neighbors have horses and so do we. There is a nice field next to us and down across the road as well. Beautiful views in the winter when the leaves are off the trees. We are close to many good restaurants and even a couple breweries. Campton Mountain is a small ski area with a chair lift and rope row open for night skiing on Friday and Saturday nights. Waterville, Loon, and Cannon mountain are all within 20-35 min. Mount Washington and Bretton woods are under an hour. There is lots of hiking close by as well as the Pemi and Mad River to enjoy in the warmer months for kayaking, swimming, and fishing.
  • Great little place to stay in a really cute and quaint location. Ally and Bert’s communication was second to none and their place was in museum like condition. It’s in a perfect location minutes off the highway and 20 minutes from either Loon or Waterville. Can’t wait to come back

  • Great location, Bert was great and they had a ton of information about the area, things to do and places to see. A short drive from Lincoln, Loon Mountain and many other areas of interest. The stat itself was clean and well maintained, easy to locate and they made sure it was plowed so that we wouldn’t have trouble coming and going. Awesome experience.

Is a 24 foot Diameter Yurt located on the side of Mt Cardigan. ( 2 hours from Boston) . It is an open space, light and airy , and also off Grid, which means, no power, cell , or data. Heat is by a wood stove only, and limited amount of water.. We do have an outhouse as well as plenty of firewood. Parking is on a logging road 200 yards on a woods path from the Yurt.. However winter is almost a mile snowshoe or backcountry ski from parking.
We ask all guests to leave the Yurt in better condition than they found it, because of this we do not charge those ridiculous house keeping charges.
Generally there are not any people on this side of the mountain
  • Ivan and Arissara built a peaceful retreat with their family. Staying there is a healing experience, and a reminder that oftentimes simplicity is the cure. We go there for the clean air, the hiking, and the stars. I highly recommend this stay to anybody who is looking for relaxation.

    Keith2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • The yurt was everything we could have hope for and more. The long walk from the end of the logging road hauling all of our gear was HARD! But totally worth it. NB: The yurt has pretty much everything you could need so pack light, you will thank yourself for doing so when you climb the hill :o The wood stove kept us toasty all weekend, we snowshoed up the back of firescrew and over to cardigan, then down to the AMC lodge. On the back 80 we didn't see a soul, it was so wonderful. Ivan and Arissara were great hosts and I can highly recommend this stay! One of a kind.

    Joey2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place and lovely people! Can’t wait to come back again.

    Bethany2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a gem. We had a wonderful three day/two night stay. The walk up on the logging road is manageable; a steady incline with sections of leveling out. Arissara met us at the yurt and reviewed details which was very helpful. Their suggestion to use a sled to pack in our gear was genius. Microspikes were helpful as this week, most of the snow was packed down and the ground was on the icy side. Wonderful property to explore and fabulous AMC trails all around. The wood stove definitely keeps the yurt toasty. They have thought of everything you could possibly need from first aide kit to dish soap to toilet paper, slippers, books and card games. Everything about the place says "Welcome". At night we could hear snow fall on the roof and the wind in the trees. The outhouse is clean and well constructed - loved the window to look out. We are planning our return trip already!

    Alice2020-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • Arissara's lovely yurt in the woods is truly a treat – in all senses of the word. The yurt is beautifully situated in the woods at the foot of Mt. Cardigan, making for a lovely, secluded "escape" from the rest of the world. It's proximity to hiking/ski trails at Mt. Cardigan is a huge plus – only a short walk away are numerous trails in beautiful woods. I recommend exploring snowy woods on your way up to Firescrew or Mt. Cardigan. The yurt itself is a peaceful retreat that has everything you could need. Arissara is truly a superhost – providing a range of supplies. When we arrived, the fire was going and there was drinking water available. Arissara and her dog met us and showed us around the yurt. As a nice touch, she even provided us with a snow sled to pull up our belongings. Overall, the stay was marvelous. I highly recommend Arissara and her lovely New Hampshire yurt if you want a place off the beaten path, surrounded by lovely nature. The only word of caution is that in the winter, it takes a bit of a hike to get in to the yurt from where you park your car. Be prepared for a snowy uphill trek – but one that is WELL worth it!

    Marcus2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • If you have the opportunity to stay here, don’t miss it! Arissara and Ivan are truly lovely hosts- they hiked in before we arrived to start the wood stove so the yurt was toasty warm for us when we arrived on foot. The yurt is simple and beautiful- perfect for a remote getaway. If you plan on staying in winter, you’ll need to hike your gear in about a mile. It’s easy to follow but does have a bit of an incline, so don’t overpack and/or bring a sled to carry extra gear. Melting snow takes a while, so be sure to bring more water than you think you’ll need. The yurt stays very warm- just follow Arissara’s advice about how often to add more wood. We can’t wait to visit in other seasons and do some more hiking! PS- our dog, Rosie, loved the yurt too!

  • John & Sheila were amazing hosts! Their warm welcomes, cute little home, treats & coffee through the stay made the visit so memorable. We booked a couple rooms in their home for a girls night. The rooms were comfortable, cozy, and very clean. We'll definitely be back again for our annual trip to Plymouth :)

  • I arrived a little earlier than expected and was unable to get the code to work. I texted Kim and she responded immediately😀 despite the fact that she was on vacation out of the country. That's dedication and truly incredible superhost status! This Airbnb is perfect too. Close to the university, downtown shopping, across the street from the hospital and has all amenities that are necessary to make this feel like home. Look forward to coming back.

  • Enjoyed our 1 night stay at Kim's place. Super clean, modern updated kitchen, new hardwood floors, very large bathroom and exceptionally comfortable bed. Nice touches like coffee, creamers for the morning. Living Room couch was comfortable for watching TV mounted on the wall. Outside flood lights convenient when walking at night from the parking area, around to the rental door entrance. Would recommend this rental to family and friends visiting the area.

  • My biggest thing when staying in a place away from my own home is cleanliness. Kim’s place was very clean, and cozy. Had everything we needed for the night. Location is great as well. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks Kim.

  • Great, clean place with all the necessary amenities and a good kitchen. It is down the street from many restaurants. Easy to check in, and also has a lot of parking space. Kim also left us some recommendations for food and things to do in the area which was very helpful! 10/10 would recommend!

  • This is my second stay at 54B HIghland Street and it is perfectly located to the hospital, university and downtown restaurants and shopping. It is truly cozy for 1-2 people and I highly recommend this property. Kim and her husband kept the drive, parking area and walkways cleared during a huge snowstorm which was appreciated very much. All my texts with questions were answered quickly and action taken immediately if needed. Thank you Kim for another wonderful visit.

Come unwind after a long day at Teach na Síochána (House of Peace). Enjoy a hot shower and sauna or a soak in the tub and then grab some snacks from the kitchenette and watch a movie before drifting off to dream land. In the morning, fuel your day with some fresh fruit and a muffin before you head on your way. Less than fifteen miles from Dartmouth College and DHMC and just a hop, skip and a jump to Interstate 89, you'll find rest and rejuvenation when you stay at Teach na Síochána.
To clarify, the kitchenette consists of access to a microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, snacks, and seating for four. A continental breakfast will be offered in the morning. There is a mini fridge upstairs in the loft area.
We are walking distance to several markets, parks, beaches, walking and hiking trails. Driving distance to great ski areas, including our local favorite, Whaleback, The Little Mountain That Could, recently featured in a video on LL Bean's web site. Dartmouth College and DHMC as well as Interstate 89 are all less than 15 miles away.
  • We really enjoyed staying here and hope to be back in the future. The location is very convenient for exploring VT and NH. The hosts are fantastic and provided a delicious breakfast for us.

  • After researching many airbnb's in the area I chose Lisa's new listing. This turned out to be a great decision. Communication was good and she responded quickly. The living space in this suite was huge, clean and comfortable. Bigger and better than the pictures. They generously changed the breakfast offering to accommodate my son's dietary needs. If we ever return to the area again we will definitely book Lisa's place again.

Cozy cabin. It has both , a place to relax or have fun. Everything you need is near by.
Great place to rest with view of Tenney Mountain . We are located on the border of the lakes region and white Mountains ,on exit 26 ,Cabin is located 5 miles to downtown Plymouth, 5 minutes to Tenney Mountain ski resort, 30 minutes from LOON MOUNTAIN SKI RESORT , 10 minutes to Newfound Lake and about 20 minutes to Wellington State Park .
    Very peaceful neighborhood.
  • We spent a cozy, snowy weekend at the Black Bear Den. The house was easy to find and right next to Tenney Mountain, where we spent the day snowboarding. The cabin was so new and clean, just like the pictures. There was a bunch of food in the cabinets and the kitchen was very comfortable to cook in. The fireplace worked well and there was extra wood out back. The bed was comfy and the host included a heated blanket. The cabin was decorated nicely and everything was in beautiful shape. Check in/out was a breeze, Adrian communicated with us and was always accessible by Airbnb message.

    Alex2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This is my second stay at Adrian's cabin. Last year we wanted a getaway near the mountains intitally out plan was to do a lot of winter out door activities. We loved the cabin so much we just didn't want to leave. The cabin both times were spotless clean and all the decorative details makes it a home away from home. I booked my last trip as a Xmas gift to my boyfriend cause he loved our stay so much. Our stay was just as pleasant as before but we explored the area. I highly recommend visiting the Main street area near the college (12 minutes away), we spent a good four hours walking into local mom and pop stores. The area has great food, clothing stores and focuses on celebrating local artists. Also check out 6 burner bistro more high end restaurant great for a night out. Lastly both trips Adrian the day before always reached out with detailed instructions, checked in during out stay and emailing us farewell. I've had other instances in other stays had to chase down the owner for a key code, question etc. We are planning to book another stay in the summer to explore some hiking and other activities. This by far is our favorite area, far away to feel excluded from the busy world but have tons of things to do nearby.

    Bethany2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Incredibly clean and cozy cabin, far enough yet close enough to surrounding attractions. Adrian is a great host, and really takes amazing care of the cabin. I can’t wait to return!

  • Black Bear Den was adorable! We loved the decor, the peacefulness, and its convenient location! We’ll definitely be recommending this place to friends and family!

  • Can't say enough good things about this cabin. We stayed here in early 2019 and loved it so much that we returned for a second visit in January 2020. Great design, location, and overall experience. Thanks Adrian!

    Mark2020-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Adrians log cabin this past weekend and it was exactly what we expected and exactly what we needed. The cabin was super clean and cozy. Just what we wanted for a New Hampshire feel! The only thing... is that this cabin did not have a traditional oven so we couldn’t make the meal that we brought ingredients for. Other than that we had a perfect stay and will definitely recommend !

    Alexandria2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Adrian's place made for the perfect cabin weekend getaway! The kitchen was fully stocked to make whatever we wanted. The living room was cozy and was perfect atmosphere to throw on some face masks, read a book and play some games. Loved all the little touches. Adrian was very responsive. Only 10 minutes from downtown. Highly recommend!

Base Camp is located at the gateway to your White Mountain National Forest adventures! Quiet, comfortable and convenient to hiking, snowshoeing, skiing and area attractions. Only 30 minutes to either Lincoln, North Woodstock or Plymouth. You can spend your evenings by the outdoor fire pit during warmer months, or playing games, cards or even watching movies after a day out in the winter.
The host home shares the property with the camp, but is a separate building. Only 15 minutes to Mt Moosilauke- the first 4,000 footer on the AT. Our town is surrounded by the White Mountains on the western edge. We have 3 friendly dogs and a cat that you may see. The cat may even invite himself in to visit if you allow.
Within 30 minutes: Breweries, Polar Caves, Clark's Trading Post, Whales Tale Water Park, Loon Mountain, Franconia Notch, Plymouth State University. Also, Rumney Race track, the AT, and an actual Redstone Rocket. The immediate location of the camp is rural in a town of around 900. Camp is actually just about on the town line of an equally sized town.
  • Thank you so much for your hospitality! So very comfortable and cozy . A home away from home ! We would definitely love to stay here again! Our only complaint is we didn’t stay longer.. Tracy’s simple touches made the difference. Be ready to walk in and relax.

  • This is a lovely cabin in the woods set next to the own's main house. You have total privacy by having your own place which includes a full bathroom, kitchen, high top table with three chairs, a futon couch in the living with a Smart TV (has a DVD player with DVDs and other streaming services) along with books, puzzles and games to use. There is one bedroom with one bed which was perfect for just the two of us and our dog (yes this place is dog-friendly which was great!). Tracy provided outstanding hospitality during our stay and we will keep this place in mind if we end up going north again.

Private entrance. Wireless internet. TV for streaming Netflix, Amazon Prime, PBS, Hulu and Acorn. Five minutes to downtown Plymouth and university, shopping and restaurants. Minutes to Newfound Lake and Squam Lake. Great base for hiking, kayaking, rock climbing at Rumney Rocks, and leaf peeping in the fall.
  • Came up for a wedding and wanted a reasonable place to stay and be able to bring our dog, but was a little apprehensive having never rented a space that wasn’t a entirely to ourselves. Not only was Pamela incredibly responsive and kind but the space felt very private with its own entrance (and view of the mountains!). I am also very allergic to cats and some dogs and did not have any issues.

    Walter2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • I booked Janet’s place as an unplanned and last minute stay (my mother suffered from a heart attack and was at nearby DHMC-I live some distance away and needed to be closer to my momma). Janet was a thoughtful host who checked in to make sure I had everything I needed yet also gave me privacy and space. The space was quaint and welcoming and the bed was very comfortable. Although I essentially only used Janet’s place as a place to lay my weary head, I highly recommend.

As you walk up the lawn to the entrance of the home you will open the door to a sunroom surrounded by windows where sunshine and reflections of the lake seep into the home. The sunroom is the ideal place to relax while observing the wave patterns of the lake. The home has one bedroom with a bed that faces a vibrant garden as well as; a modern bathroom, an open kitchen with views of the lake (oven, microwave, sink, fridge, dishes etc.), and a living room where one can lay down on the couch and stare at Goose Pond all day long. Most special, the home's large deck with its wooden swing, practical furniture, and its striped awning that give guests the best views of Goose Pond by day and by night. It is the place where guest will be able to best take in the enthralling sight of the lake.
Goose Pond is conveniently located around many restaurants, bars, grocerie stores etc. that are all within a 35 minute car ride from the home. A book will be provided with information on all these magnificant places around the lake. Most importantly the sense of community resonates throughout the year and neighbors will be more than happy to assist you during your stay.
  • Elaine is a wonderful hostess. Her home is very cozy and comfortable. There was everything we needed very well equipped kitchen. Enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommend.

    Linda2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a paradise. We loved being on the lake, the views, listening to the loons and watching them through the binoculars. We loved canoeing, swimming in the lake (it is very clean) walking along the road in the evenings, sitting on the swing chair on the deck. We loved hanging out in the inner tubes of the lake and just drifting about, listening to the birds, the lapping of the water. We loved Elaine's beautiful flowers that were everywhere and the humming bird that visited often. We visited other lakes on our trip which were beautiful but were always happy to get back to Goose pond. The place was plenty room for the 2 of us. I like to cook and the kitchen really had everything I could want to cook a nice meal. The views, the woods in the back. We would definitely come back. Elaine is a very lovely lady an incredible host, always there to answer questions. Our only complaint was the neighbors were a bit noisy on the weekends. It seemed they were gone during the week but on the weekends, their playing the radio outside all day and into the evening one day was a damper. And they tend to yell back and forth to each other instead of normal talking (in a friendly way) They did turn the radio off at night so they did not keep us up. And we are very quiet people so most people may not be bothered by their noise. Still, this place was absolutely wonderful and we would definitely come back. Thank you Elaine!

    Kip2019-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I had a wonderful time at Elaine’s lake house. Every possible amenity was available for us. The house was clean and very thoughtfully decorated. The view from the porch was lovely. We took the canoe out and went to the northernmost part of the lake and caught some fish. The lake was quiet and relaxing, not a lot of boats on the water. I wish we could have stayed longer.

    Michelle2019-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was perfect! Elaine's home on Goose Pond is a great summer getaway. She's a wonderful host, and her home is very comfortable and well-equipped, especially the kitchen. Had many nice meals out on the deck overlooking the lake and great times swimming and canoeing in the pond. A quick 1.5 hour drive from the heart of the white mountains. The pond is serene, especially on weekdays when there are fewer boats. Highly recommended, already thinking about going back next summer.

    Daniel2019-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I had a great stay at Elaine’s place. The view and access to the lake was amazing. She has a canoe that we enjoyed taking out and got close to the loones. The place was so clean and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful home away from home with a great view and access to the lake.

    Linda2019-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fabulous time during our Goose Pond stay. Our arrival was seamless and Elaine had left helpful hints and tips throughout the house. The house was spotless and had various amenities that helped make our stay comfortable. The lake was simply gorgeous and the house is literally steps from the lake. There was an awning available which allowed us to sit outside during high peak sun times. Excellent stay!

    Pam2019-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • Relaxing, beautiful view. Such a peaceful spot. We enjoyed paddling on the lake and walking beside the lake. Also rented bikes in Lebanon and rode the bikeway. Enjoyed the Shaker Museum as well. Would love to return some time!

  • We had a wonderful time staying here. The house is comfortable, with everything you need for a short stay, and the view is fantastic. Really enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking out on the lake.

  • *5 Stars* Jade and Joe were the perfect hosts! Beautifully restored historical country home located on a huge piece of farm land, where there was so much to do. Downtown Bradford was a stone-throw away and full of places to eat and shop. Also a great scenic drive to Loon Mountain. What I loved most were the scenic views of the fields and woods from all sides of the house, including a fantastic view of Mt. Washington from the back porch. I also had the pleasure of meeting Joe and his family's awesome dog Max; Joe's an absolute genuine guy who not only made us feel at home, but did not hesitate to offer his assistance with anything to make stay more enjoyable. My family was sad to leave after only a couple of days, which is why we definitely plan on booking here again for a longer stay. Thank you again Jade and Joe, your home is an absolute Gem! P.S. - My dog had SO much fun tapping into his wild side, exploring, and playing with the neighbor's extremely friendly pups. He was absolutely exhausted.

    Sean2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Jade's place was great. We had plenty of room to relax in the house with plenty to do to keep us busy and not bored. We had a great time exploring outside in the fields and sledding in the snow. It felt like we were home and didn't have to worry about anything.

  • You won’t regret staying here, definitely in the top three locations we have stayed in. The house is perfect for a bigger group, and the space outside is breathtaking.

  • The house is very nice, clean and quaint. Also a nice quiet location. Would highly recommend.

  • Absolutely pristine spot in the Vermont countryside. This trip was our second stay at the location, and once again, the hosts and location do not disappoint. Thank you again for the wonderful stay, and we will certainly be back!

  • Can’t say enough positive things about this place! The view is breathtaking, the land & the house offer so much to do. It is all the seclusion you want with all the amenities but town isn’t too far away ether. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer, but we will be back!

  • Pleasant stay. Cute cottage with fantastic View!

    Elisa2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay at Troy’s place very much. It is a cute cabin, that had everything we needed to make our stay pleasant. It was clean, and had basic things like coffee, filters, salt and pepper etc, so we didn’t have to shop immediately. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. There is a futon, so four people could have stayed there, but if opened it would have been touching the bed, so I wouldn’t recommend more than two people, Unless you had a couple of kids, it would be a bit tight for my taste. The view from the porch was wonderful, a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a cocktail in the evening. Troy answered any messages promptly, and I would definitely book a stay at this cabin again.

  • You can't ask for a better view of Newfound Lake! It's located close to Bristol, Plymouth, and Shacket's Grocery Store. Staying on Newfound Lake in one of the few vintage cottages still on the Lake is a wonderful experience! I'll be back next year!

  • A must visit! I’ve been going to these bungalows for years and it’s got one of the best views around. And with this price it’s such a good value! I will definitely be re-visiting.

  • What a great spot. Our family of 3 stayed for 9 days, and couldn’t have been more comfortable. Cookware, cutlery, whatever you might need to cook at home was there. Nice big fridge and freezer, hot showers with good pressure, fresh towels, great bedding. BTW the bed is super comfortable, as is the couch. We were plenty warm, slept and ate well, and enjoyed the beautiful and peaceful spot. Amy watched out for us with the winter weather, and plowed whenever needed so we could get out easily. You won’t regret staying here :) Great experience.

  • Peaceful and quiet, clean house, stocked kitchen, comfy bed, beautiful woods, kind host, couldn’t have had a more of perfect getaway!

  • We loved this place. Absolutely beautiful surroundings nestled in the Vermont mountains.

    Thomas2019-12-25T00:00:00Z
  • Amy’s home was a perfect weekend getaway in Vermont. It had everything you need and allowed for a more off the grid experience, which was exactly what we were looking for! Amy even came by on the morning of our last day to say we could stay a little longer than checkout. Very kind of her! I would definitely recommend it to couples or a small group of friends who want to disconnect for a weekend and enjoy the surroundings. Certainly hope to stay there again!

    Matt2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • Amy was an incredible host. Leading up to my trip she offered to stock up the fridge and told me about restaurants that people tend to like when they visit. I also saw a ton of moose which was really cool cause I’ve never seen one before.

    Aaron2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed one night in Amy's cozy house in the beautiful hills of Vermont. The house itself is very well equipped -- including a fully-furnished kitchen -- and Amy is kind enough to put some food in the fridge beforehand for our breakfast! The living room is spacious, yet cozy, and very comfortable. Our one issue was that Amy doesn't check her messages in the afternoon or evenings (which, to be fair, she does warn about). Nothing serious happened, but we had a minor issue and tried to contact her when we arrived at around 4pm but we got no response until the next morning, which was too late. However, she was very kind in her response and felt very bad about what had happened (which again was not very serious). Apart from this, we loved our stay and hope to make it back some day!

  • It was such a great peaceful stay. The cottage was super warm and homey. Norwich and Hanover are only a short drive away. Highly recommend the Tavern in Lyme. Amy went above and beyond to ensure to stock the kitchen perfectly. Amy and her dog Goose were very welcoming. It is the perfect place to stay when visiting Vermont and New Hampshire.

  • D Acres farm was everything I hoped it would be and more. Friendly staff, delightfully wholesome and tasty meals, sound sleep in the comfortable bed, and unending miles of wilderness at its doorsteps. D Acres has all this, but is also a rural retreat with a very important message for the world. The farm demonstrates that it is possible to live happily and comfortably while working in harmony with nature. Lots to see and learn, including from that amazing collection of books in the library. A farm stay that I shall cherish, and highly recommend.

The farmhouse was built between 1795 and 1800 by the ancestors of the owner. We renovated it over the last year and added 600 square feet to the original structure. The space combines the charm of the old with the convenience of the new. We know you will love this relaxing, quiet country setting with views over a lovely meadow to the south, and Mount Crosby to the north.
When you step inside the front door of the farmhouse, you will feel like you are going back in time. Wide pine board walls in the entry, open beamed bedroom ceilings. and aged pine flooring all create a simple, rustic country atmosphere. At the same time, the new part of the farmhouse gives you all the amenities you expect-new bathrooms and kitchen, efficient heating system, abundant insulation and no winter drafts! Our ancestors would be thrilled to know that we have taken advantage of our perfect southern exposure. We are heating the farmhouse with the power of the sun as will be evident by the array of solar panels which grace the back field.
The farmhouse is an ideal place for those who love to spend time in the outdoors. Without even getting into your car you can hike or back-country ski on the trails on the property, climb Mount Crosby, or kayak to Newfound Lake on the river which borders the front meadow. Walk down Braley Road to the village of Hebron for breakfast or lunch at the Hebron Village Store. Hebron, a classic New England Village, is listed on the historic register. The town beach is only minutes away by car. A little further afield are the college town of Plymouth, ski areas, the White Mountains, and all the activities they and the Lakes Region afford.
  • Adorable and cozy spot! Also very beautiful scenery around town. House was clean, comfortable and had everything you might need. Host Mary is so sweet. Would stay again and recommend to friends!

    Hannah2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Personally, this was THE BEST Airbnb I have ever been to, and my family and I have stayed at a number of places. We came here in February, and it was very snowy and cold outside. Mary's property is incredible. We love to venture outdoors on skiis and snowshoes and we didn't have to leave the property because there was so much space to explore! It was a winter wonderland, outside AND in! The house itself inside was spacious, warm and charming. It was so spacious , in fact, that I didn't need to worry so much about my 2 active boys destroying anything, because they had lots space to play! lol! It was beautifully decorated with artful and nature-inspired photographs on the walls, lots of cozy and unique antique furniture and rugs everywhere. Honestly, my favorite part about the space were the subtle, thoughtful touches like the fresh coffee beans and grinder, stools for little people to stand on in just about every room, high chairs, classic children's books and toys... the list goes on and on. we hope to go back soon! Thank you, Mary and Paul!

    Anthony2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Mary’s farmhouse provided a wonderful and much needed weekend away! She was quick to respond and offered a great experience.

    Tiffany2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • “Dreamy” would be how I’d describe this beautiful old farm house! We arrived late in a winter storm & Mary was there to greet us with freshly sanded walkway & steps, warm home & hospitality! Mary and Paul went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of fantastic! They provide coffee (fresh beans & a grinder!!), creamers, all pantry basics, warm, quality LLBEAN bedding and comforters, sleds if needed, and much more! The snow in such a fantastic location, is really gorgeous with the Mountain Views and the old barn on the property. I’d recommend this as a FABULOUS winter place to enjoy a warm family weekend or group of friends! A easy 40 min drive to ice castles! Highly recommend!

    Cariona2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was great! This was our second time at Mary's home, so we knew what to expect and were delighted with all aspects of the visit. Mary is a wonderful, accommodating hostess. Highly recommended!

    Maria2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Went for a quiet NYE getaway. Was late arriving due to snow storm. Mary was very accommodating. Property looked amazing with the new snow cover. Mary and Paul were both fantastic hosts, would come again and the place looks great with the snow.

    Jeremy2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • The Farm House is well-equipped and thoughtfully designed. There is ample space for six people. The house is cozy despite its large rooms and it’s easy to keep tidy! We loved the location.

    Lisa2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • We cannot recommend Paul and Mary's home enough! If you are looking for a sleek, modern, sterile place, you need to look elsewhere. But if you want something with a character and ambiance that reminds you of a simpler time, a place that makes you feel comfortable immediately, without sacrificing the modern amenities, then look no further. The old farmhouse charm, the curios and knick-knacks, the old wide pine floors and exposed brick are mixed in with the modern necessities you need. The peace and quiet are only enhanced by the beautiful views. And then you meet the gentleman who grew up in this home, and the love, devotion, and pride for this place become immediately apparent.

3mi out of Warren Center This newly renovated cabin has a great spot right on the Baker River. This site is very rural with lots of area to explore. Tons of attractions within twenty miles, great place for kids. Sat. Through Sat. only in season.
  • A friend of mine and I stayed in James' (Jim's) AirBnb for a long term stay May-Sept 2019, as we were both working in the area over the summer. Jim was accommodating from the get-go in that he was willing to rent long-term in the first place, he was willing to negotiate on cost, and he allowed pets. The hospitality was lovely, and allowed both my roommate and I a comfortable summer in the White Mountains. That said, the home itself is adorable. It is very small (or cozy, if you will) and is perfect for a weekend get-away. It is located perfectly on the Baker River next to two great swimming holes. The river is treated like the "beach" of the Whites, so if you don't like people in your back yard this might not be a good fit for you during the summer months, but I would like to note that everyone minded their own and were respectful of the property. We are just a couple miles from the trailhead for Mt. Moosilauke (a 4000 footer), and I 10/10 recommend taking advantage of it. Things of note for a long-term stay: 1). There is NO phone service in this part of Warren, and you will be 100% reliant upon wifi and consistent power to use your cell. The house phone didn't work (to be fair we never felt the need to bring it up with Jim, honestly it just slipped our mind, but you may want to ask about that prior to staying). 2). It is very small. The room with the bunk beds is essentially a closet with a closet in it. Good space for kids, a bit cramped for adults, but completely usable if you're okay being in tight spaces. My roomie made of home of the room and didn't have a problem. The main bedroom is spacious and the bed in very comfortable. The host provided great pillows and adequate sheets. The couch in the living room is a futon, so you can squeeze more people in comfortably. 3). There are no trash services! My roomie and I are both city-folk, so it came as a surprise to us. Expect to add an additional waste fee to your stay if you are being required to haul your own trash to the Warren Transfer Station, which was the case with us. We requested a reimbursement for that cost from Jim, which he thankfully agreed to, and are currently waiting for that to go through. 4). The kitchen is very very small - you have limited space for food prep and even less for cooking. There is a full fridge (which was a pleasant surprise for us since the pictures didn't show one), and plenty of shelf-space for food storage. There is no oven, but there is a microwave. The old electrical stove-top broke early on during our stay and Jim responded immediately by providing us with a plug in two-top burner. This suited us fine, but if you have a larger group you may want to bring extra cooking supplies. There are TWO grills on site. We utilized the charcoal one, but there is also a gas grill. Additionally, there is a lovely space for old-fashioned camp-fire cooking. Again, thank you Jim for the stay. Wish you the best.

  • My husband, my dog and I stayed for one week - and everything was perfect for us. Quiet and relaxing , the campfire and the river are complete a bonus. The river view is perfect. For dogs is very good too. The cabane has simple amenities ( you need to bring soap, sponge and for cook too). A lot of activities around the place (hiking, lakes...). It’s totally my next destination for vacations. Thank you James.

    Jade & Matt2018-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Nice little cabin. The bathroom and the kitchen is tiny. It is at a lovely spot right next to the river very romantic spot. We went swimming and jumping at the swimming hole by the bridge. The fire pit and the grill was very useful for us. Away from everything. We didn’t have cell reception (T-Mobile) but there is a landline and WiFi in the cabin so we were able to connect as needed. Great cabin to stay in.

    Viki2018-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed with my 12 year old son and 2 of his friends to do some hiking and enjoy the river. This location did not disappoint! A perfect relaxing spot out of the way but close to all of the activities. We cooked in one night and ate out one night, we had excellent access to all of the trails and the boys spent most of the time swimming right at the river. Great host! Thank you James!

    Teresa2018-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Such a cute little house right next to the river. It was so relaxing listening to the river while sitting on the deck. Great spot.

    Dana2018-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • We wholeheartedly enjoyed our stay at James place and were sad to go after 1 week. The house offered everything we needed and having the river so close was amazing. We went climbing in Rumney every day which took us about 30 minutes to get to by car. Small supermarkets and a laundry were available in Warren. We recommend this place to everyone looking for a relaxing stay and/or a nice base while climbing in Rumney!

    Deike2017-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is a little slice of heaven on earth. The view and the sound of the river rushing by made the stay a wonderful experience. We enjoyed playing in the river and even though it felt we were in the middle of no where, we were close to Warren and Woodstock/Lincoln. Hope you love it also.

    Jeffrey2017-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • James and his family have a wonderful spot. I feel so fortunate to have been able to spend time with my family there on the Baker River. We used the visit as a base for attending a family reunion, as our family was from the Baker Valley. We also enjoyed the tranquility of being on the river and the deck was perfect for that. I hope to return to stay at the cottage again sometime. Thank you.

I also felt very welcome, and I truly enjoyed my conversations with Jim. And Christine went out of her way to prepare a very early breakfast on Saturday! • We only stayed for one night but the house was absolutely beautiful. The room was so cute and the bed was very comfortable. In the morning our hosts had fresh muffins, scones, and fruit which was all delicious. They gave us great advice on what to do in the area and made our trip that much more fun. If we ever come back to this area I know exactly where we will stay!

  • Jim and Christine are great hosts. The house is beautiful and we had a comfortable stay! Can definitely recommend. You can also walk to the Ice Castles from their place (it is right next door) if you are in town to see it.

  • Christine and Jim were exceptional hosts. They were warm and welcoming. Their home was comfortable and convenient to many local attractions. The Continental breakfast was delightful and Jim and Christine had great tops for local hikes and suggestions for activities in town.

  • Jim and Christine were two of the nicest people I’ve ever met. They were amazing hosts and their home is gorgeous. I am looking forward to taking my girlfriend back there again next year!
