We would like to welcome you to come and stay in our lovely guesthouse at our farm in the heart of Skagafjordur. Here you can relax and enjoy your evening in our hot tub, take a walk to visit our calm and gentle horses, we also own a beautiful lake and we are "forest farmers" i.e. we plant 10.000 trees each year and we can highly recommend a stroll through our young forest to the lake. There will be sheep, chicken, cats and dogs around and next to the house there is a beautiful old church:)

These two beautiful apartments are located on our amazing farm. The view you have out of the apartment you're in is the best view you can ask for. Surrounded by horses, fresh air and icelandic nature you can't help but feel relaxed and at home. Next to the house is a hot and cold tubs. And to top it all of, you have access to the best water in the world, which comes straight from our mountain called Staðarhnjúkur. This nice cottage is situated in the middle of a beautiful valley, with no neighbors disturbing you. You have a sea view to the north. A stream with waterfalls and rapids down through the valley. The hut is also a good base for skitouring and moutain hiking (many trails in the area) and horse riding. We offer horse riding for additonal fee. We can ride a calm tour with beginners or a bit faster with more experienced riders (details under blog Vermundarstadir).
