The appartement of Dempsey is beautiful, clean & nice located. I can definitely recommend a stay at his place!

We had a very pleasant stay in the apartment, it is clean and cozy and very relaxed. We have eaten at the friendly neighbors (restaurant Velodroom) and there we also got the tip to have breakfast at sandwich + since we had not done any shopping. ..that is also recommended. We will definitely remember this address for next time

Giovanni and Kelly are two sympathetic hosts who live in a new house. Apon arrival they had our private room neatly installed. We could use their home as it were ours. Giovanni and Kelly were lovely hosts, friendly, welcoming, and great people to talk to. The house is a gem of style and sunshine, literally and in the mood the hosts set, just a 15-minute drive from Ypres. Breakfast is abundant and with plenty of choices. The room is upstairs, up an open, un-bannistered varnished wooden stairway, so don't bring bags that will be hard to carry up, or that will risk damaging the shiny finish. Highly recommended!

We had an excellent stay. We were expected at a wedding party and arrived earlier than the check-in time. This was no problem at all. Sleeping was no problem at all. Thanks Kelly and Giovanni for being quiet in the morning. Also a nice breakfast! Everything was in perfect order!

I was at the location from 3/11 to 10/11 Pleasant house. All facilities are there and Monique and Lieven are very hospitable. The house was pleasantly heated and there were extra blankets. also a nice and pleasant comforter. No stairs which was also pleasant for me. The nature around and around the house are beautiful and peaceful. Close to Ypres, Bruges, Ghent, Roeselare ... and West-Vleteren .... The coast is also not far away. Beautiful setting and I will definitely be back

5 stars all across the board! This apartment is AM-A-ZING. Originally we planned to stay for just 3 days, but after meeting the family, seeing the property, and taking a step back to relax and enjoy the last leg of our month-long traveling holiday we decided to stay for 6 nights total before heading home to the States. My partner and I fell in love with Belgium and it is in part thanks to Marie-Claire's generosity, kindness, and attention to detail. Her husband Arnold gave us the pleasure of touring their gorgeous property with a 60+ year old hand-planted forest, lilly ponds, animals and birds - which truly gave us a nature oasis escape. Their son, Mark, is the admin and he is quick to respond and extremely helpful. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Onto the apartment itself, I don't think the listing does itself justice as there are plenty of ammentities and bragging rights about this stay. To start you have a private en-suite bedroom (with a lock/key) inside a private apartment (with a separate set of keys.) The apartment can sleep 4 easily, and we were extremely impressed with everything Marie-Claire and family offered for our stay. There is a wetbar with a refrigerator that was stocked to the nines! Creamer, orange juice, butter, bottles of water, etc. The "microwave" was the nicest I've ever seen, doubling as a toaster oven. We were able to shop at the nearby market and look forward to hot food every day. There was a coffeemaker, electric kettle, and other appliances we could use. The drawers were well stocked with coffee, tea, sugar, paper towels, silverware, plates, bowls, mugs and glasses - anything you could need. The bathroom is luxurious with a clean shower, lots of space, and Marie-Claire provides many towels and soaps for your stay. Our bed had fresh flowers atop it when we arrived (from her flower shop next door, which, unfortunately during our stay we witnessed her last day working there as they were closing shop after 40+ years. I am hopeful that with doing Airbnb they are able to make enough money to someday reopen, but that might be wishful thinking since the whole process was quite emotional.) The stay was clean, comfortable, and we immediately felt like family. The only thing I would add is a TV or maybe a projector, just because it's such a cozy place and leaving the property could be difficult for couch potatoes - but the hosts mentioned they'd like to add some entrainment like that in the future. The pictures are true to what you'll get and then some! The location was perfect for what we wanted. We wanted to stay somewhere off the path, away from big bustling cities. We wanted a quiet place where we could see the wonderful Belgium for what it is, and we got exactly that. Transportation to shops was easy with the busses and reasonably priced, but there were many little gems close to home. Bars and cute cafes are within walking distance as well as some cheaper food options if you're looking to eat out. I recommend Pizza Ma's with their extensive menu, late hours, beer, and a friendly staff. The pizza definitely lived up to our New York standards! There is a quaint park just a 20 minute walk away called Bergelen that we absolutely adored and we are not ashamed to admit we played on the zipline at the playground for hours like children! We wanted to write an accurate, heartfelt review for Marie-Claire because she was nothing but wonderful as was her family. We are gracious and extremely thankful to have had the pleasure of staying in sleepy little Moorsele and finding a place on this Earth that understood us as deeply as we wanted to understand it, and I cannot be happier with what we found.

It is really a very nice place, .. super hospitable people, an impressive garden, fully equipped. You have to go through the bedroom to go to the toilet / bathroom. That can be difficult.

Great stay: large living space (with air conditioning!), Separate bedroom, luxury shower. You enjoy the peace and the green environment (garden!). Marie-Claire and Arnold are very hospitable and are happy to help you with local tips.

Marie-Claire and her husband are a very nice and very hospitable couple. The apartment is newly renovated and very clean. Especially nice we found the large garden with many old trees, many flowers and several lily ponds. A nice place for a (short) holiday.

This is a stunning property - ample parking, well equipped kitchen and fabulous living space. The addition of an en suite bathroom in every bedroom was perfect for our group of 10 cyclists. The spring weather (wind & rain) meant we were not able to fully enjoy the outside space, but we did make friends with the owners little grey cat :-)

Great time at Gerrit's place. Both him and his wife made my friend and I feel at home. They are also kind, generous and and helpful. The apartment is spacious, and both kitchen and bathroom are well equipped. Special thoughts from the hosts: welcoming the guests with some local beer and fresh eggs from their farm. We recommend Gerrit's Place: a stress free environment and in good hands 🙂

Gerrits place was lovely and they gave us a very warm welcome. Eggs were left for us along with bottled water. The place was just what we wanted, warm , clean and very convenient for Brugge and the war graves.

We stayed at the farm for 2 nights. The studio was amazing, exactly as seen in the pictures. Linsey welcomed us although our arrival was quite later than we thought. She is a really nice and helpful host. Commucation was excellent. The place is perfect for a relaxing peaceful couple of days. There is more than everything you need in the studio and the common area. You can have a walk around, see the animals and enjoy the silence. 2 nights were not enough. We will come back here again for sure !

We had a super nice stay at Linsey. De kouterhoeve is a spacious residence with all modern conveniences. Clean, cozy and quiet. The pool table for us and toys for our child were a nice bonus! Super!

This place offers a wonderful space within which to relax and escape from the world. Set in a fantastic location - you will have everything you want and 10 x more. Linsey and her family can't do enough to make your stay exceptional. I cannot recommend this place enough. The small town that is 5 minutes walk from the place is also charming with little cafes and bars all with very friendly locals that will be happy to buy you a beer and use English when your Flemish fails you.

Such a wonderful stay in a beautiful home, we had taken my children for a lovely get away. Location was perfect and so much to do. My children 6 and 8 loved the house, so homely and so many toys they could play with. They didn’t want to leave. Barbara was so welcoming and informative. The house is well equipped with everything you need. And sparkling clean. Will define going back.

Functional accommodation, clean and very well located (Bruges, Ghent, Lille, Bellewaere less than 1 hour). Host welcoming, smiling and available.

Very clean and cozy home in Wevelgem. There is a park with a library within walking distance (5-10 min) as well as bakeries/grocery shopping in the center and plenty of indoor activities in Kortrijk (15 min drive) for little ones.

The accommodation is located in a quiet and peaceful place halfway between Ostend and Bruges.

It was a great place well equipped, very clean and comfortable. We went by our car from London using Euro Tunnel, and it was easy to find and drive there. It was very convenient for driving to Bruges and Brussels. The rooms are at 2nd floor, and you use stairs. The host responded very quickly. We enjoyed small talking with the host when we were walking around the beautiful garden. They are open and friendly. It is very recommendable place and we want to stay there again.

We had a lovely experience at this venue. The hosts were helpful but not invasive. The venue was exactly as advertised and very clean. The location is not walking distance to anywhere particularly interesting, but was a very easy drive to nearby Ypres and other towns. Sheets and towels were in need of updating, but even so were very clean. The flat was well equipped with everything you could need. All in all would happily recommend a stay here.

Cottage is equipped with everything. Very nice welcome gift. The kitchen is really an ideal kitchen to cook for a larger and with a larger group. Everything was immaculate and in order. Nico and Dorine were immediately available with questions. A guest house to be proud of!

We had an amazing weekend at this location. You can stay overnight with 14 people and still have plenty of room for everybody. The accomodation fulfills all the needs a group can have and is well maintained and very clean. We were welcomed very warmly and could ask questions to our host anytime we want. The environment is very calm and beautifull! A 5 star rating well earned. From a very happy group, that would return within a heartbeat.

Brilliant accommodation, the photos don’t do it justice yet - there is lots more to the house when you arrive! It is well equipped, lots of communal areas, also very light and spacious. Great area outside for BBQ and socialising. Perfectly situated for both doing and watching cycling (we stayed for 2 pro races is Flanders). Steve was a very accommodating host throughout, and took the time to give us plenty of information and tips on where to watch the cycling races which came in really useful. Will stay again.

This place was very good to stay. We stayed with a toddler of 3 years old and a baby of 6 months and this all went very well. I can advice it to anybody.

Lieve's house has everything you would need for a relaxing weekend or longer stays. The whole house was wel equipped and newly renovated. We enjoyed our stay!
