Rebekah and Isac were excellent hosts. Their house is in impeccable condition and made me feel welcomed. The room was big and cozy. It had clean linens, water and towels. They even offered me morning breakfast, which I thought was very nice of them. I will certainly stay there if I ever visit again.

We had never used AirBnB before and Rebekah and Isaac's home was a wonderful experience for us first-timers. The bedroom and bathroom were extremely clean, the home was very quiet, and the neighborhood was very safe and quaint. We had absolutely no issues and would recommend this home to anyone!

Rebekah and her husband have been amazing hosts. I have extended my stay with them twice. They have been very flexible and accommodating. They offered me tea and were very welcoming the day I came. This was my first time using airbnb and I am glad I chose Rebecca and Isaac's place. They were very responsive over mail and phone. Though they were away when I got there, they had made the necessary arrangements for me to get in. The room was prepared for my stay with towels ready and the WiFi password stuck to my room's door. I met them only the next day when they invited me over for breakfast. They were a really pleasant couple and I enjoyed conversing with them. Though my stay was for a single night, I found it to be more than satisfactory. The bed was good, house was clean, there was space for parking my car and I did not have to share the bathroom with anyone else. I would definitely visit them again if I happen to be staying at Akron anytime in the future.

Honestly the best! I can't imagine finding a better place to stay in Akron (or most cities!). The quarters are beautiful, private, quiet, peaceful, comfortable--like staying in your own private apartment. Matt and Morgan have a sweet young son and two playful pups, but the privacy of the quarters means you won't be disturbed by any noises if you don't want to be. Matt and Morgan were the most gracious hosts. They gave me excellent, personalized local recommendations for dining, hiking and running and even took me on a tour around town! It felt like I was in town visit some old friends! They also left plenty of snacks for me in the room, along with the coffee maker. The bathroom also has any spare toiletries (and a hair drier) in case you forget. And there's a private washer and drier. Don't miss the opportunity to stay with them--you won't regret it!

This place is amazing! The bedroom and bathroom are clean and they have everything you need. Matt and Morgan are very sweet and helpful. I'd recommend this place if you are visiting Akron and we will choose to stay here again when we revisit in the future.

We were the first guests that Matt, Morgan and Anderson had doing airBnB, and they aced it! The house is wonderful, clean, comfortable and the "maid's quarters" is really a suite including a bedroom, bathroom and sitting room. The hosts are friendly and fun to be with. The neighborhood a nice quiet place to be. If we go back to Akron in the future, we'll certainly visit here again!

I have stayed at many locations through Airbnb all over the country and it is hard to imagine a more perfect situation than Matt and Morgan have to offer. It was perfect in every category but mostly value!!! I really had to go back and look at what I had paid to confirm the deal. If you find yourself in north east Ohio and want a shower with endless hot water and the most comfy bed with privacy and quiet, this is the place.

A great stay! Cinnamon's place was very, very clean and smelled pleasant - like vanilla? Plenty of towels and linens and the bed was very comfortable. For an apartment building, it was surprisingly quiet and overall the place felt safe and secure. Conveniently located just minutes from downtown Akron, and for all you coffee lovers - there's a Dunkin' Donuts and Starbucks just a stone's throw away. I recommend staying here, especially if you're traveling for business like me!

Although we were only there for a few hours, we enjoyed our stay. It was a last minute stop there were linens and towels left from the previous guests. It was last minute and there were spare towels and linens left that were easy to find. Overall we enjoyed our stay and and found it to be very comfortable and would come back again.

Cinnamon's place was great. Nice and quiet and her communication was perfect. The place smelled great and was clean when we got there. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary equipment to cook your own meals which is a huge money saver if you're traveling. Overall, it was my first time using AirBnB and I had a great experience with this place. Recommend to anyone wanting a quiet place close to downtown.

Great place to stay in Akron! We were in Cleveland for a Cavs game and didn't get to the condo until very late. Craig installed a combination deadbolt /lockbox so we could enter the property on our own. The condo was extremely clean and exactly as pictured. We would definitely stay again when we come back to Akron.

My stay with Patty was lovely. She welcomed me warmly into my clean room, with toiletries, snacks and two towels. I enjoyed visiting with her and playing with the pets. She made delicious breakfasts every morning with strong coffee. The neighborhood was ideal for my visit to Akron U. She made the trip.

I really enjoyed my two nights at Patty's place. Her home is immaculate and charmingly decorated, with a very calm atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable and the neighborhood quiet. I slept like a baby. She is a thoughtful hostess, offering me supper, breakfast, and coffee. She placed a decanter of fresh ice water in the room each day, along with fresh flowers from her garden. I also appreciated her quiet but friendly dog and cats - I missed my own pets less for being able to share hers. The home is a short walk to a charming square, and a short drive to an access point for the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail. Patty's place will be my go-to when I'm traveling in the Akron area.

I stayed in Patty's home for one night on a quick visit to The University of Akron. The room was clean and comfortable, and Patty made a delicious fresh breakfast with coffee in the morning. The location is great since it is nearby a hip neighborhood square with several restaurants, bars, grocery store, and coffee shop.

Patricia is truly a superhost and an amazing person. She is very generous and supportive, and will do everything to make you feel at home and have a great time at her house. Her house is an ideal retreat and a perfect place if you are planning to go to Akron for whatever reason. If you do not have a car, the bus stop to Downtown Akron is just around the corner. Although I had driven to Ohio for an unhappy reason, my stay here was a great comfort. Joan and Nancy's lovely home sits in the midst of a charming historical district and just up the hill from Market Street, along which you will find a cozy coffeehouse, nightclubs, an old-fashioned movie theatre, a fair-trade shop, and a fabulous organic market and restaurant where I ate both dinner and breakfast. My bedroom was a treat with a roomy, comfortable bed and an adjoining bath. I especially appreciated the bedside lamp so that I could curl up under the comforter and read. I only regret that I didn't have the opportunity to visit more with my hosts, but I truly hope to return one day soon.

Staying here really felt like staying at a friend's - it's the kind of unique place that Airbnb was made for. Jakob was flexible about my arrival time, met me at the door and showed me around. Everything was ready for my stay - towels, wifi password, house key/door code, etc. The other house guests were friendly and happy to share suggestions for restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet and being able to park in a driveway and not on the street was a big plus. You may notice in the listing that there's no a/c, but the ceiling fan in this room more than made up for it and Jakob already had an extra fan in the room as well. If you're coming to Akron and want to stay someplace authentic to the area, unique, and safe, this will be a great place for you!

We needed an affordable place to stay while participating in the Akron marathon. It was very convenient to downtown, the bed was wonderful - new mattress! - and we stayed later so I could get a shower afterwards before driving home. My husband commented on how much he liked the towels! My husband ended up not being able to participate and stayed at the bnb studying and felt very comfortable there. We are going back for another stay in 2 weeks.

Jakob was so helpful in supporting and redirecting my effort to get verified. This was my first experience and of course I waited until the last minute to book. I was late getting confirmed and late arriving. Jakob was waiting for me and helped me find my way through this first experience. He greeted me with the front door open, welcomed me in and helped me to get settled quickly-and get a cup of badly needed tea. I had a great night of rest, the neighborhood was extremely quiet and the open window gave me the fresh air I wanted-the bed was comfortable enough, shower was clean (as was the house). First time to Ohio, first time staying in an Airbnb for two weeks. Complete success thanks to Jakob's hospitality! I appreciate the kitchen and fridge space and use of the washer and dryer. These were extra perks that really made the stay feel like home.

Jakob met me at the door when I arrived and always greeted me and made me feel welcome. He was so kind to accommodate random needs I had (e.g. borrowing shampoo the first day because I forgot mine, providing an iron and ironing board, etc). The house is very clean and has lots of character. My room was spacious and comfortable. The neighborhood is beautiful and you often see people jogging or walking their dogs. The house is within walking distance of a market, coffee shop, and a few other shops. There is also a mall, shopping plazas, and a yoga studio within a 15 minute drive.

Charming area full of homes with character. Easy access to where I needed to get to. Perfectly polite hosts.

Tim's spacious home was quite lovely with the beautiful Japanese / zen feel garden. Tim is a very quite, polite talented person and loving owner of Golden Lab, Rufus who was very intelligent. I wished I had more time to enjoy Tim's garden...would have been nice to sit outside and enjoy the good weather this past weekend...but I had things to do...places to go and visit.

We wanted something close to Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Lorree's place was a perfect location. Close to the park and close to restaurants in Cuyahoga Falls. Her place is lovely with all we needed. Lorree made several recommendations for things to do in the park and where to eat. They were all good choices. I highly recommend her place.

Bud's place was very cozy & located in a very nice, quiet, residential area. Only about a 5 minute ride to restuarants & bars. The room was a good size and the bed was huge and very comfortable. Private bathroom was a huge plus as well. I was also able to do some laundry too, which was very much appreciated. Overall, very nice play to stay for a night or two. Bud is a nice, friendly guy! We've stayed at Jill's place twice now, and it's perfect for us. Great location, easy to check in, and plenty of space for us to work, sleep and socialize.

Jill was great. She was helpful with information about the apartment. Loved being able to use a code to enter parking area and apartment. Code operation directions were very explicit. We got in late and left early, no key hand off. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Keurig available. wifi was fast. The ac was provided by window units which kept us comfortable. Beds were a little soft for our taste. Kitchen was adequately outfitted with pots/pans, utensils, dishware. the area surrounding the apartment is a little desolate but safe. We ate at Diamond Grille ($$$ but awesome steaks) and Akron Family Restaurant, both within walking distance. This was a perfect location to ride the Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath. Mustill Store is about .25mile from the apartment. We biked 30 miles to Rockside Station and took the train back to Akron ($3). A quick 5 min bike ride from the train station.

This place is centrally located and was walking distance to lots of downtown attractions. The place was clean and we felt safe. We'd stay here again for sure. Thank you!
