The nearest shops are in the town of Tiverton, five miles away. The broadband has recently been upgraded to Ultrafast fibre to the premises with speeds of at least 450mbps. However, there is no mobile phone signal in the valley.

A good base for anyone visiting Devon on holiday or for work. Lamb Cottage was refurbished in 2016 and has underfloor heating on the ground floor with radiators on the first floor. The main room has a wood burner and there is a patio outside; there is a parking space for 1 car and there is also ample free parking in the village car park
