  • We had a really lovely stay at this cosy place. It is an absolute perfect location in Campbeltown. John and Lesley were excellent and attentive and there were so many lovely extra touches. 100% would recommend.

  • We had a great stay at Lesley & John's place. It was perfect for our stay and the flat would warm up just perfectly after very windy days outside. About 5min away from shops and city center, we found it an ideal and quiet location for our holidays. Arriving alongside storm Ciara, we are very thankful for the breakfast that was provided in the fridge and the lift you gave us from the bus stop!

    Teo2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Nice wee flat in a central location to all amenities. Great hosts and the breakfast supplies were very much appreciated.

  • Lesley's place was absolutely perfect for our visit to Campbeltown. Close to the harbour with a wee view and within walking distance of the pubs and restaurants in the downtown. Just around the corner from Glen Scotia Distillery and a ten minute walk to Springbank and Glengyle. The flat was super easy to find coming off the main road and Lesley was kind enough to meet us with the key and show us around the flat. It was lovely and cosy, perfect if you want to visit Campbeltown for a couple days!

    Judith2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • This flat is exactly as advertised, in fact better!!! The owner kept regular contact in the days leading up to our visit and met us as planned at the flat. She was very helpful when showing us around and there were lots of nice touches in the flat, which included milk and juice in the fridge, coffee and tea and millionaires short bread. Everything I could possibly have forgotten to take with had not been overlooked by Liz, who a stock of essentials..... What a star!!! Thanks again Bill

    William2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Liz’s place is GORGEOUS!! It’s such a wonderful place to relax and so, so comfy. It’s in a great location to have a wee wander around town and nice and cozy to come home to if you get caught in a freak hailstorm, like we did. The freezer didn’t work which was quite disappointing (since our ice cream melted before we planned to enjoy it), but we realized this the night before we checked out, so there was no time for them to fix it during our stay. The pots and pans were a bit worse for wear as well, but it’s a good sized kitchen and well-stocked with kitchen gadgets (though a cafetière/French press would’ve been nice for anyone who likes real [non-instant] coffee). There was even a needle and thread which I was sooooo grateful for because I tore my pjs early in our trip and hadn’t had the supplies to repair it until this stay. As for the rest of the place, the bathroom is a bit tight, but the shower was good and the lounge is huge and comfy. It’s on the first floor (ie up one flight of stairs for any non-Brits), so there’s a nice view of the street & back garden. We had a little trouble finding it (HINT: just put Argyll St in your satnav), but Liz and her husband met us there and showed us around, which was much appreciated.

    Ariana2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place! Everything was very clean and Liz was super helpful.

    Skye2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed in Liz's flat for work commitments and couldn't fault the location, cleanliness and communications with Liz and would highly recommend anyone looking for a great place to stay when visiting Campbeltown.

    Paul2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • Beautifully decorated flat in the town centre, yet very peaceful. So comfortable and spacious. Liz’s hospitality is second to none. Highly recommend staying in this beautiful flat.

    Catherine2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful and comfortable apartment that has everything you would ever require. A definite home from home. Liz thoughtfully put in the fridge a pint of milk and provided an array of really tasty chocolate biscuits too! I cannot recommend this wonderful apartment enough. I for one will be back. Thank you Liz. X

Our period flat is located on the harbour front conveniently close to the town centre. It is within easy walking distance of all local restaurants, distilleries, pubs and attractions. Multiple spectacular beaches and golf courses lie only a few minutes drive away as do the islands of Arran and Gigha. The flat is on the 2nd floor and consists of two double bedrooms, a kitchen, bathroom and combined dining and living room with excellent views over Campbeltown Harbour, look out for the seals!
Our Victorian period flat is located on the second floor of this harbour-side close. It is newly decorated featuring local art, photography and crafts throughout and hosting many period features. The flat is centrally heated and also has a multi fuel burner in the living room which guests may use (coal and wood are not included, but may be bought locally). Sky TV and Wifi are both included. The bedrooms both have double beds, extra bedding and blankets are available if needed as well as a travel cot and each room has a hair dryer. Towels and toilet rolls are provided in the bathroom, although guests are asked to bring their own beach towels. The kitchen hosts all regular appliances including a microwave, washer/dryer and a coffee machine. Tea, coffee and sugar are included.
The flat is on the loch front, and is within walking distance to the ferry terminal. It is next door to the local cinema (a recently renovated Art Deco building) and around the corner from the Campbeltown museum. It is within a 2 minute walk to cafes, restaurants, shops, pubs and the tourist information centre. There are also some lovely walks with stunning views straight from the door. The local supermarkets, sports centre and swimming pool are within a 10 minute walk. So too are the 3 Campbeltown distilleries and whisky tasting rooms. There are multiple sandy beaches and 3 golf courses within a 15 minute drive, as well as hill and lochside walking, including the mull of Kintyre lighthouse. The ferries to the isles of Arran, Gigha are within a 30 minute drive, and to the isles of Islay and Jura within 45 minutes.
  • This flat has been the perfect home away from home. It has such a cosy, welcoming atmosphere as well as having modern furnishings. It was sparkling clean when we arrived and we couldn’t have been happier with the place. Scott and Victoria were both so helpful and friendly, and answered any questions we had with quick responses. The views overlooking the harbor from the living room window were beautiful, and the flat is in the most perfect, central location. Ideal stay for anyone visiting the Campbeltown area!

Originally the Laundry Cottage for Bellgrove, this most attractive building has recently been completely re-configured and modernised, resulting in a warm, very well appointed, comfortable and welcoming holiday home. On the outskirts of and out of sight of the town, south facing and overlooking Campbeltown Loch and the hills beyond, Mary's Cottage provides an ideal base for the exploration of the historic town of Campbeltown and the Kintyre Peninsula.
  • This cottage is truly outstanding. Warm, comfortable, pretty and beautifully and thoughtfully fitted inside with every amenity, two bathrooms and a wood burning stove. Lovely views over Campbeltown loch, car parking in the grounds and a private terrace. Underfloor heating. Welcoming and friendly host. We really enjoyed our stay and we will assuredly return. Recommended highly.

  • Really enjoyed our stay at this marvelously restored charming, historic, well-kitted, spotless cottage. Terrific outdoor space and view, and two bathrooms to boot! David was a great communicator and a welcoming host. We’ve been coming to Campbeltown for many years, and are excited by this new (to us) addition to the local holiday rental market. We will be back!

    Mike2019-10-04T00:00:00Z

  • This is a lovely cottage with a super view over looking Campbeltown Loch. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. David was an excellent host, replied to any inquiry immediately and the welcome pack of local produce was most a thoughtful touch. Would have no hesitation in staying here again.

We would love to offer you a warm welcome to our home in the beautiful Kintyre, approximately five minutes walk from the first tee of Machrihanish golf course. We offer a comfortable room with one double and one single bed. You have use of a bathroom with an over bath shower. We have a friendly dog in the house and there is ample parking.

We can provide a cot and high chair if required.
Plenty to see and do from Davar Island to the Mull of Kintyre. It a lovely place for a relaxing holiday. If you are a golf fan there is the Old Machrihanish Course and also the more modern and environmental friendly course of Machrihanish Dunes. There are beautiful walks, distilleries and much more right here on our doorstep
  • Thanks a lot!

  • For us Christine's place was ideally located and minutes walk from the golf course and local hotel. Christine could not have been any friendlier or more generous. She also kindly gave us a lift along to the hotel where we had booked for dinner (old coach house) The room was just perfect and as advertised, great value for money. When we come back to play some of the other courses we will be hoping you have availability. Many thanks - David

Harbour View apartment is a restored Victorian tenement within Royal Avenue Mansions. High ceilinged and spacious the apartment is situated on the top floor with a large entrance hall behind a 100 year old stained glass door. There are doors leading to the bathroom and a large double bedroom. Oak flooring carries through from the hallway into the open plan living area with fitted kitchen, breakfast bar and TV lounge. The views from both bedroom and living area are spectacular.
Built in 1900, it is a large four storey tenement in Hall Street, designed by Frank Burnet & Boston of Glasgow. Hall Street was named after James Macalister Hall of Killean in 1898 after his generous offer to build the Library. The library now contains the Lady Linda Macartney memorial garden. This Victorian tenement refurbished and modernised with double glazing and central heating throughout provides comfortable luxury accommodation for two.
Conveniently located in the town centre, the apartment is close to the ferry terminal, local shops and amenities including local restaurants, distilleries, whisky tasting rooms and pubs. It is next door to the local cinema (a recently renovated Art Deco building) and around the corner from the Campbeltown museum/Linda McCartney gardens. Surrounded by great beaches and three internationally renowned golf courses there is much to see and do. There are also islands to visit; Arran, Gigha and Ireland are but a short ferry away.

Everyone has a special place in their hart where one can escape from busy day to day life and reflect, rest and reenergise. My charming farm cottage is that place! It is a place on the far west cost of Scotland and I call it ...The end of the World...because it is where the land stops and the ocean starts. It is a perfect place to rest, walk, surf and experience magnificent Scotland. I hope this little holiday home will generate a great collection of memories for many people. Wellcome !
Campbeltown is the main town 7 miles away; it has two supermarkets (Co-op and Tesco) plus many interesting small shops, Indian and Chinese, fish and chips and cafes including The Picture House which is also a cinema and the Bluebell café near the harbour a petrol station, library and swimming pool, hospital and other services; Royal Hotel on the seafront does a nice dinner; other villages: Southend 8 miles from Campbeltown has St Columbas Footsteps, beach and a traditional tearoom and delicious homemade cakes. Machrihanish has golf courses and a lovely long beach for walks and surfing including Westport beach which is 3 minutes from the cottage and has a large car park (right hand side on the road to Campbeltown); other villages and distilleries to visit.
  • Tangy cottage is very well equipped with everything you could want. Beautiful location and lots of interesting places to explore. Quiet and peaceful but not too far from the shops and restaurants in Campbeltown.

    Carmel2020-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage's location is absolute prime. It's only 5 mins drive away from one of the most iconic Scottish beaches - Machrihanish Beach. Local surfing school is nearby and would be a great bonus in spring/summer months . The cottage itself is lovely & feels peaceful inside. No noises or disturbances nearby just stunning views & lovely garden at the back with barbecue. Spacious kitchen/living room. It is fresh & decorated to accommodate a family with kids or a couple. We enjoyed our time & would definitely come back again!

Fantastic location overlooking the Old Quay - could watch fishing boats coming in while lying in bed (and also spot the resident harbour seals!). The Coach House is a wonderful holiday cottage located near the seafront in Campbeltown. Nestling in the gardens of a grand sandstone building, this self catering accommodation is a hidden gem, discreetly set behind impressive entrance gates. There is an enclosed back garden with a small grassy lawn & large patio area. Internally all the rooms are beautifully finished and co-ordinated. The spacious front hallway ensures there is ample room to store your golf clubs!
We are happy to take 1 large dog or 2 small dogs provided owners keep them off the furniture. There is a large grassy promenade at the front of the property where owners can take their dogs for walks.
The property is a few minutes walk to the town centre where there a restaurants and pubs. There is also a kids play park across the street from the property.

  • I have only good things to say about this wonderful house... I travelled to Campbeltown with a friend for the malts festival and it couldn't have provided a comfier base for what ended up being a very sunny week by the seaside. Stylish, impeccably clean, warm and spacious with a perfect outside space. 10/10.

  • 10 out of 10 apartment!! Perfect location, lots of space and great views. An amazing local guide left at the property which was so helpful. We went to two of the recommended places for lunch one day and afternoon tea another day and they were great. We wouldn’t have found these little gems without the user manual.

  • We had a wonderful stay at Jennifer's place. It is very conveniently located just outside of Campbeltown, and was very quiet and peaceful, clean, and spacious. And, the teacakes and crisps were a thoughtful touch and a welcome treat after a long drive from Glasgow! We would definitely stay here again.

Located on the small island of Davaar, we have lovingly restored the former Lighthouse Keepers Cottage into a beautiful and luxurious one/two bedroom cottage. Enjoy complete peace and quiet, stunning views, and all the amenities you could wish for. Overlooking the sea and set in its own private compound, the Lighthouse Keepers Cottage is modern, spacious and extremely comfortable. The island is accessible at low tide by 4x4 or on foot. Guests are transported by 4x4 on and off.
The Lighthouse Cottage is set in the compound of some 2.5 acres. There is a private garden to the rear and the compound gate is closed at all timed to ensure privacy for guests. Ned and Toni (your hosts) caretake the Island with their dogs Dudley & Binley. They live in the end building which is quite separate from the rest of The Lighthouse area. Ned & Toni will greet you at the beginning and end of your stay, and are available for any queries or to help during your stay but otherwise you will be very much in solitude. Providing privacy & solitude to our guests is very important to us! There is another small cottage perched up on the hill outside the compound called The Lookout which is available for weekly holiday lets. Both are entirely separate and private from each other.
Situated on the small island of Davaar near Campbeltown on The Mull of Kintyre. The Lighthouse Keepers Cottage is the former home to the Island’s Lighthouse Keeper and is situated in the Southern tip of the Island next to the Lighthouse itself. Whilst the Lighthouse is now automated, we have recently lovingly converted the house into a beautiful & cosy holiday house from which to get away from it all. There is an enormous sense of peace and quiet staying here, and near 360 seaviews, surrounded by outstanding scenery and briming with sea life (otters, dolphins, golden eagles, peregrine falcons and even Minke Whale are all seen off the shores of the island). ABOUT THE LIGHTHOUSE KEEPERS COTTAGE The house is detached with its own private fenced in garden. There is a large double bedroom with kingsize bed (with electric blanket), bathroom with shower/wc. Also on the first floor is a twin room with panoramic sea views and of the lighthouse. On the ground floor there is a large open plan kitchen/dining/ sitting room with cosy wood burning stove (unlimited supply of wood). The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern conveniences including induction hob, decent sized fridge and separate freezer unit. Microwave, dishwasher & washing machine also. Off the kitchen area there is an office with bureau and comfortable separate sitting room with a large supply of books and games for relaxing on rainy days. There is a further cloakroom/shower/wc on the ground floor. Please note that parents / carers are responsible for their children at all times on the island. There are sheer cliffs the other side of the compound wall so it is strongly advised for children to be supervised at all times and stay on the designated walking areas around the cottage and lighthouse area. Please note there is no washing machine, however Ned and Toni are happy to help out for guests staying longer than 3 nights. Features: King size bed Twin room 100% cotton bedding Towels, bath mats, hand towels, tea towels etc are all provided WIFI throughout Dogs welcome – but not in bedrooms/upstairs. Please keep dogs on leads near livestock. Natural spring water supply Shops 4 miles Sea-fishing off variety of points on the island. Fantastic variety of walks on and around the island. Secure enclosed garden with garden furniture Firepit for BBQ / Stargazing Lobster Pots Snorkelling Kit Fishing equipment Parking nearby on mainland – we will transfer you with your luggage by 4x4 at the start and end of your stay.
  • Ned and Toni are really nice and helpful hosts. The cottage is well equipped, the island was beautiful and peaceful. We had a very good time there . We even saw a magnificient rainbow above the lighthouse!

    Benjamin2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely weekend on Davaar Island! The weather was extremely stormy so we couldn’t explore as much as we would have liked, but we enjoyed snuggling up in the cosy cottage with the fireplace and plenty of board games and books! Ned and Toni were very friendly and helpful and clearly love the place.

    Ailsa2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a nice time in the cottage. Made a BBQ, had some fresh eggs, explored the island! What more could you ask for?

    Harry2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Our New Years aim every year is get somewhere remote and beautiful. We knew the location would be stunning from the listing. We knew we loved Scottish hospitality and a great distillery. We knew Davaar would be remote enough for us to completely detox from the daily grind. We didn’t appreciate how welcoming Toni and Ned would be and all the thoughtful things they’d do for our visit. The cottage is beautifully equipped and extremely comfortable and cosy. Our hosts went above and beyond, leaving fresh eggs and making sure we had all we needed. We’ve been totally relaxed the whole time. We went off the island once to visit Springbank distillery, where we found more awesome people and had a great time. The Island was so beautiful, with a small group of goats and many seabirds, plus the odd seal and Peregrine Falcon to marvel at. We can’t recommend this place enough, our hosts have made our annual hunt for tranquility and relaxation absolutely perfect.

    Stephanie2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • The place is absolutely great! It has everything for a comfortable short or long stay. Ned is awesome. He has many entertaining life stories and never short on jokes. Probably like most of the people who stayed on the island the only regret is the short stay. Definitely a place to unwind and meet fauna residents up close :-)

    Elena2019-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • Ned was an amazing host, very friendly and accommodating and helped us feel right at home. I would definitely recommend staying at Davaar Island, not only is the location beautiful but it’s so peaceful apart from the odd sheep :) and calming, a great place to get away from it all. Thank you both so much for having us to stay with you, we will definitely be coming back to stay again!

    Daniel2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is beautifully clean and well equipped. Toni and Ned are always helpful and easy to contact. If you enjoy a slightly different holiday and love peace and quiet then Davaar island is a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature.

    Debbie2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • What a fantastic getaway spot. The hosts were incredible, the cottage was perfect, and the island is a marvelous place to explore. We loved every minute and wished we could have stayed longer.

Scottish hospitality at its best!

  • Margaret and Iain were amazing hosts! They were very welcoming towards us and did everything to make us feel at home on their farm. The room was really cozy with a small wood-stove and a comfortable bed. Their house is rather remote, but with Margarets directions it was easy to find and the place is definitely worth the journey (by the way, the water-pressure of the shower was a delight compared to British standards :D)! We spent two nights with them and had a wonderful time talking, discussing and laughing together. As they described in their profile, they do have pets at home, which are all kind, sweet and friendly (we met a lovely dog and cat). We would definitely book a stay with them again. Highly recommended!

The only one thing which could have been better are the curtains in the back room, because it gets light very earlier it will need a thicker curtain so the light doesnt come in at 4:00 am . But the rest was perfect!

Everything is within walking distance, and the Cadenhead Whisky Shop is literally across the street! Wonderfully placed, particularly if you’re on the hunt for that perfect dram. This place is ideal for a couple, smaller group or small family. Peter’s touches are thoughtful, and there wasn’t anything we felt we needed to ask while we were there. Donnie (the host) is friendly, full of helpful information and always available for any queries. The house is full of character and the living room and bathroom, in particular, are great spaces 😁It's pretty remote, but that's the beauty of the place and the reason to go and stay....I would absolutely recommend it as a place to stay!

    Annette2019-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • From the moment we were greeted by Donald at the front gate, we knew we were in for a special time. We stayed in the upstairs unit which is stunning. This place would be hard to beat!

    Megan2019-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • This is quite a unique house. The location is fantastic if you love the sound of the waves and the wind and the smell of seaweed in the air. The house has quite a stunning history, and Donald really takes very good care of making it a very nice place to stay in. When you look at the photos of the house that he provides, it's WYSIWYG. We very much enjoyed our stay and can wholeheartedly recommend Donald's house to everyone who looks for something special and unique, outside of the ordinary.

    Rolf2019-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fantastic time at Donald's house. We rented the upper part of the house ( the sea captains house) because we were travelling as couples and wanted a separate sleeping area. Donald was there to welcome us even though we were getting in later at 10pm. The house is sparkling clean and has incredible views across the horse shoe bay. I am a photographer and this area and the surrounding areas are awesome. We will 100% be back here and we would recommend this place to anyone.

    Camilla2019-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fab time staying at the CarraPod. We were very lucky with the weather and enjoyed beautiful sunsets and nights gazing at the stars in the delightful wood fired hot tub. We absolutely loved our stay and have already been recommending it to friends!

    Laura2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • The Carapod was super clean and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The view from the pod was stunning in the evening, great for sitting out having dinner. The hot tub was a real bonus and something quite unique to the stay. My partner and I loved our stay and would highly recommend to anyone wanting somewhere special.

    Michael2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Rebecca was the most inviting host and had the hot tub ready for my dip also the bed ready and made up. The CaraPod was fully equipped with everything to hand and it was my little bit of heaven for 2 nights. Even with the wild weather blowing in it did not stop my enjoyment of a beach walk meeting the friendly neighbours and dogs in this lovely part of Scotland. I would sincerely recommend this property for couples or single person as a great place to escape to.

    Fiona2019-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Such a lovely place to stay! The location is absolutely incredible and the pod is amazing with great amenities. Loved the bbq area and the hot tub area is very private which is nice. The hosts were very helpful with any issues or questions we had! We would definitely go back for another stay!

  • Our stay with James was a memorable and enjoyable experience. I would recommend staying there with no strings attached. Everything about our stay was 5+ stars. It’s worth twice what he charges.

    Richard2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great flat a short walk from the town centre. The flat is clean and spacious so great for a family or group of four. Communication is superb and James leaves thoughtful touches providing us with a cafetier, accompanied by superb local coffee from Tighnabruaich and Tunnocks teacakes. There is plenty of space to park outside and even an outside seating area - if the weather permits. There is plenty to do in the local area and it's not overrun by tourists which is great. The flat is well equipped if you wish to cook in and there are plenty of places nearby to eat out. If staying in Campbeltown, I'd definitely recommend this place.

    Nicola2019-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • Outstanding for both location and a very warm welcome from our host. Flat was spotless and in excellent condition.

    Sheila2019-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • A fantastic property close to town and great value. The apartment was larger than expected and very comfortable. James met me for check in, a very friendly guy. Would highly recommend.

    Steven2019-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place to stay, bang in the centre of Campbeltown (conveniently about 1 minutes from the brilliant Glen Scotia distillery, and just 3-5 mins from practically everything else in town). Was really lovely to met in person by James (and his sweet little daughter!) and to see the care and consideration he'd obviously put into preparing the apartment for us, including welcome gifts of basic like milk and butter, as well as bread rolls and sausages for our first breakfast (yum!). Apartment was super stylish and in great condition - including really comfy beds and a beautiful shower space in the bathroom. We stayed in 3 great AirBnBs during our 5 day tour of Scotland, and despite giving both of the other apartments 5 star reviews, this one stood out head and shoulders above them! Thank you James :-) We'll be back!

    Chris2018-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and tidy. We had a pleasant stay. Hosts were very nice and helpful.

    Fraser2018-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • We just had a wonderful couple of nights here, a real cosy home from home. The kids loved the full Sky TV package but weren't able to use it too much thanks to all the suggestions of local things to do that James gave us. Everyone loved the shower too and made me write it down. An absolute winner all round!

  • We were there as family of 8. 4 adults with 4 children. The flat is very spacious, and furnished with everything you could need or want. With 2 Bathrooms plus a third toilet, there was never any need to queue. The place was spotlessly clean and lots of toys and games for the kids. Its walking distance to shops, cafes and pubs, and has decent views over the harbour. Parking is always available. If you are looking, get booking, this place will not disappoint.

  • I arrived here with my family and three other friends. Spacious flat with plenty of room to enjoy hanging out. The kitchen was well stocked. The location of the apartment is on the other side of the bay making for a very scenic walk over to the more popular side. Excellent place to stay with a large group. Mairi was very responsive to my notes to her as well. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Go for a walk and explore the surroundings, including a little castle and a hill to climb. Go in winter and appreciate the snow-covered hillside as your view from the lounge. Perfect!

  • Lovely well equipped rural cottage ideal for exploring the Kintyre peninsula. Enjoyed the company of "Fred" (an extremely large Charolais bull) and his two ladies, the peace and quiet with only abundant birdsong to disturb you. Excellent laundry facilities and good recycling facilities. Hope to return one day.

    Nicola2019-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed almost a week at this cottage and it is a perfect value. Everything as advertised. Especially the communication was great, very quick and exact responses. The place is, as advertised a little bit outside of campeltown, so either a car or a cab is necessary. From check in to check out everything was also well explained and I would definitely recommend this place without hesitation.

  • Janet readily and last minute accommodated two of my colleagues (thank you Janet!) They’re hoping to get the chance to return. Here is what one of them had to say: Pleasantly remote, but not too far from town, charming and comfortable, a bit different from the norm and a nice change. A warm welcome awaits from the caretaker. I enjoyed it.

    Gaynor2018-04-27T00:00:00Z
  • Janet was a great host and very helpful when booking. Its a lovely cottage in a quiet peaceful location.

    Tom2018-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Janet's cottage was a perfect countryside break to get away from London! The cottage has all the basic amenities and is situated in a very scenic part of the country. Campbeltown is on your doorstep (a car is necessary) and the tourist information is very good at pointing out things to do! The kintyre peninsular is beautiful and I would recommend this trip for anyone looking for a change in pace!
