Beautiful vacation home near the beach and dunes.

Wonderful accommodation for two people in Castricum, with bedroom, sitting area, bathroom and kitchen with dining table. From the house, you can walk directly onto the terrace and have access to the veranda with wood-burning stove. The vacation home is centrally located in the village with some restaurants and within walking distance of the station with direct train connection to Amsterdam, Alkmaar and Haarlem. 5 km away by bike from the house is the popular beach of Castricum and 1.5 km away is the dune area.

Atmospheric luxury cottage with private garden

My beautiful detached luxury finished cottage with its own entrance and large private garden is located at 3 km from the beach, forests and dunes. A new kitchen was placed in March 2022 with fridge, induction hob and microwave. Now that it's ready, we no longer serve breakfast starting in March 2022. Close to cities like Alkmaar, Haarlem and Amsterdam. The garden with parasol and sunbeds and optimal privacy. The cottage with its own resume and equipped with every comfort. At the cottage a lovely veranda.

This cozy and sunny cottage in Bakkum is on the edge of the dunes and the forest. Within walking distance are several eateries. In 10 minutes by bike you can reach Castricum by the sea with a beautiful beach, many terraces, restaurants and water sports. There are 2 folding bicycles at the cottage. You have a private entrance with a small garden and a seat. Parking is available on your own property or parking across the street. Sleeping area is upstairs, accessible via steep stairs.

Tiny house on the North Holland Dune Reserve

The Tiny house is a cozy cottage in our garden and is next to the forest and further down the dunes and the beach. The tiny house has a living room, a kitchinette with coffee, tea, and a mini fridge, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, and above a bedroom with a 2-person box spring. Nearby, walking distance, are a few nice restaurants. The beach bars are open all year round, even in winter. During the winter, it is a bit fresher in the Tiny house, then bring warm clothes.

Welcome to our new cottage in Castricum! Enjoy the nice atmosphere and completely relax. From the cottage you can easily walk into the forest and the dunes. The beach is also located in the area (4.5 km) Fancy a dinner or a cozy drink? The village center is 10 min walk. The village has nice restaurants and cafes. Prefer to go to the big city? Amsterdam, Haarlem and Alkmaar are easy to reach by public transport. Castricum has its own train station with direct connection.

The finest cottage in Castricum

Under the beautiful rose arch is the entrance to the Yellow Bird House. Upholstered with wood and located in the greenery, the feeling of peace and vacation overwhelms you. In the morning the birds chirp welcome you and you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the sun. The house is fully equipped and you have your own garden. Here you can enjoy the sun. The beach and dunes are practically your backyard, but the cities of Alkmaar, Haarlem and Amsterdam are also nice and close.

The apartment is located just next to our years-30 home in the old village centre of Castricum. Within 5 minutes walking distance, the dunes start and with fifteen minutes you can cycle on the beach and by the sea. The cities of Alkmaar, Haarlem and Amsterdam can be reached quickly by train or car. Castricum train station is within walking distance of our home. The apartment is on the first floor and can be reached by an private lockable entrance.
