Wake up with a magnificent view of the Mosel

The apartment has a special atmosphere ... a mixture of old and new and the rooms merge into each other. You first enter the dining area and look through the bright living room with the wide view into the Eifel. Two steps down you´re entering the cozy living room with a big sofa an then you´ll find the sleeping area with double bed (160x200cm) and a stable bunk bed for children and adults. Daily breakfast possible in our café/bistro. We also serve lunch and dinner on opening days.

Our small charming witch cottage is located in Walhausen. A quiet village in the middle of the Hunsrück. Due to its central location, an ideal starting point for excursions to the Moselle, Geierlay hanging rope bridge, Kastellaun, Koblenz or Trier and much more. Frankfurt Hahn Airport is only 16 km away. Shops for daily needs are located in the immediate vicinity. The house is lovingly renovated and has a large garden, as well as a spacious terrace with wonderful views.

There is a eatery in the Altlay, about 1.5 km away, in the Altlay. Our cottage is surrounded by forest and meadows. The Altlayer Bach flows directly past the house. The picturesque 200-year-old quarry stone building has been renovated in 2022 and features a new bathroom, kitchen, underfloor heating, and open fireplace.
