Fantastic cottage, spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and furnished, well equipped for a comfortable relaxing peaceful stay. Lovely views over the fields and countryside, very relaxing! Michelle is a wonderful host with the perfect balance of friendliness and helpfulness but at the same time respectful of privacy. She was the perfect host and really made us both welcome. We came to this area specifically for a 90th anniversary classic car club celebration at nearby Burghley House on Sunday 8th June but were not aware at just how beautiful the surrounding countryside is here and we spent Saturday exploring Rutland Water which is stunning ! Pretty villages and quaint pubs and Stamford itself is a very attractive town with lovely honey coloured stone buildings and pleasant shops. Overall a wonderful stay - we will be back !

I stayed with my wife, daughter and son, we had a wonderful time, we walked everywhere locally. Collyweston is a great location, it is near to Rutland Water, Stamford, Burleigh Hall and a number of beautiful villages and attractions. The cottage is peaceful and quiet directly opposite the lovely local church. We couldn't have asked for a better location or a lovelier cottage. We will definitely return as we have much more to see.

Great location, two minutes walk to Rutland Water. Cottage was very clean and tidy. Charlotte lived close by so was able to give us help if we needed it. She suggested a visit to Stamford which we did. Oakham is close with plenty of places to eat. We had access to her lovely garden and so were able to sit out there.

Anna’s cottage and garden were even nicer than the photos. Lots of little touches that made the stay feel even more special and welcoming . The area is beautiful and we had great weather. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay here.

We had a fabulous stay at Ian’s cottage. The location was great and the walk into Stamford by the river was just lovely.

Gorgeous little cottage in a lovely peaceful location, surrounded by nature. Beautifully decorated. It was warm and very comfortable. It had everything you needed. We walked to the nearby pub for dinner one night and that was really lovely too.

Had a great few days at this beautifully decorated property. Very well laid out, clean and comfortable. Could not fault it at all. A few basic provisions were provided which was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated. Karen was very quick to respond to our messages too. Just a 5 minute walk across the meadows takes you into the town for a good choice of eateries and bars. Made good use of the parking at the rear of the house too. The property sits on a road which is very close to the train station and track so you do hear the occasional engine go by but it certainly wouldn’t put us off booking this place again. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at Sally’s. The place was absolutely spotless, so clean it looked brand new! Walking distance to the town and Burghley House. Usually got a parking spot right outside. Stayed there for 11 days and would stay again if back in Stamford. Highly recommend.

Beautiful flat in lovely, peaceful village location. Easy access to lake and surrounded by lots of interesting places to visit and things to do and see. Cecilie is a friendly and welcoming host and Lottie the dog is just as lovely. Cecilie gave us lots of good local recommendations. We didn't get to try them all so we'll definitely be back!

I stayed in this apartment with my wife and two daughters. I could not recommend this place enough. It is literally a two minute walk to loads of nice bars and restaurants too many to choose from for the two nights stay our hosts were super accommodating and they even had the cushions on the outdoor furniture ready for us when we arrived as it was a lovely sunny day .. that is also a wine merchant just below the Appartment which is full of amazing wines .. would highly recommend this place and we hope to be back

We were attending a wedding at Rutland water and reception at the Barnsdale. This place is only 7 mins away and was perfect for our daily stay of 3 Adults. Julie made us feel welcome and had also provided so sampler products in the kitchen for us. Which was lovely. The check in is 3pm but after explaining we had to be at the wedding by 12:30 Julie arranged that we could check in at 11 am so we could freshen up and get changed after the drive up. The stay at your apartment was wonderful. Beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. Wonderful location close to shops, restaurants and historical landmarks.

We spent two very comfortable nights at Fennel Folly. It’s in a great location and was very dog friendly. If it had been warmer (although we had gorgeous sunny weather!) would have loved to make more use of the lovely balcony. We will definitely recommend to friends and family who will be visiting such a beautiful area.

A really lovely weekend in Stamford. Sophie's flat was perfect for our needs. She provided all the information we needed, and a very simple check-in. Comfortable, cosy and well-equipped, Sophie's flat is very well located for an easy walk into town, where there are great shops and restaurants. Thank you, Sophie, for a great stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is a beautiful part of the country. Apartment was clean and spacious. Nice homely touches. Everything you could need in the kitchen and the separate lounge/kitchen room was a bonus.

Nick and Pam's place was just like the photos. Very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. VERY comfortable bed gave for great night's sleep. Easy walk into town where plenty of places to visit and eateries.

I couldn’t have been more pleased with my stay at this property. The location, the charming interiors and the immaculate presentation and cleanliness of the Old Book Shop means I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area. It’s a lovely high street in a beautiful town and Pauline really looks after you!

Had a great stay in Jonny's apartment. It was quiet, the location was great with most things you would need in walking distance. The off street parking was ideal. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again and recommend to others.

Loved everything about our stay. Beautiful, comfortable and lovely views both from downstairs and the bedroom. The little touches during our stay really stood out - loved the croissants, milk and OJ! Really liked the level of light (natural and artificial) and mirrors in the stay. Linen smelt really fresh and clean. The booklet with information was so helpful. Communication was great from Martin throughout, we mentioned it would have been helpful for us to arrive earlier than standard check in time and he prepared the place to be ready for us sooner - we met him as we were leaving and he was super friendly. Thank you for such a lovely stay and we hope to stay here again.

Cosy and charming stay in Stamford- Easy walking distance to town / shops / restaurants / Burghley Park. Tim was quick to respond if we needed anything . The home was well stocked with essentials and the welcome basket was a lovely addition. Thank you for a great stay.

It’s the best AirBnB we’ve stayed in. Sue has thought of everything. It was homely, cosy, beautifully decorated, very comfortable bed. It was lovely sitting in the conservatory eating our meals and looking out on the garden watching the birds. The kitchen had everything we needed and the welcome pack was a very lovely touch. The shower was lovely and hot. It was a lovely base to start our exploration of Rutland and we are already planning our next trip back. It is nice to know that we have found a home from home to stay in. Thank you Sue.
