The village of Menerbes (A Year in Provence - Peter Mayle) has mostly local villagers living here. Beautiful walks and cycling are popular pastimes. This village is the starting point for hiking and is located on the GR 6 and is ideal to visit the most beautiful villages of the Luberon.

The Mill Gite

Rustrel is a small quiet mid-mountain village renowned for its ochre environment, with bakery, tobacco, grocery store and restaurants. Swimming pool open in July and August. Nearby, the must-see tour of the lavender fields in bloom at the beginning of July, many opportunities for hiking and mountain biking. Beautiful market in the city of Apt 9 km away on Saturday mornings. A mobile air conditioner has just been added to each room.
