Monthly Rentals in Rushen

Great apartment in a beautiful location. We were really pleased we chose Port Erin as it seemed to be the nicest place to stay on the island. The apartment was in a great location on the edge of the town, although very easy to walk to the beach and shops. It was a great size and really light and bright. We had everything that we needed to self-cater and it was well designed and decorated. We would definitely stay here if we return to the island.

We stayed at Lucy’s place for 4 nights this week. It was a really enjoyable stay, the apartment is perfect for 2 with good amenities & lots of space…we immediately felt right at home. The location is amazing if you like coastal walking and great views. You can see the sea from the bedroom, living area and kitchen which was great. Lucy was great, both in terms of excellent communication & local recommendations. Lucy’s family home is above the apartment with a shared garden but it felt very private. Lastly, for those travelling with a plug-in hybrid or electric car, there is a public charger a matter of seconds away. It was great value and perfect for us…we will be back 👍🏻

At first I thought it was maybe a little pricey, but to be honest it immediately felt like home and the location could not be better. We all loved it, especially our sheepadoodle Toby who enjoyed watching pooches and owners pass by every morning and he enjoyed every minute of playing on the beach, he made a lot of doggy friends and checked his peemails every morning to see who was playing out. We will be returning and Lynsey is the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble and we weren’t rushed out on our last day, which gave us an extra day to enjoy the sun and the facilities. Wow! Just had a fantastic 3 day stay. The accommodation has been so carefully thought through, great use of the space and really everything that you could ask for, and more! The location is great, very peaceful. Andrew and Colette could not have been more welcoming. Having stayed in many self catering cottages, I have never found such a well stocked fridge! Milk, juice, butter and delicious jam and clotted cream to go with the homemade scones! Plenty of cereal, tea and coffee too. Plus - homemade bread and delicious shortbread, which was thoughtfully topped up each day. It was the first time I have stayed somewhere on my own as I was visiting family on the island and I could not have chosen anywhere better. Thank you so much and I really hope I get to come back 😀
