Numerous thoughtful touches throughout, from the welcome bottle of wine to the time and effort that was made to create a fun and entertaining treasure hunt on the property. The cabin was perfect for a quiet, relaxing stay and I would highly recommend the home to anyone searching in the area.

This is our second stay at Gem and one of our all time Airbnb favorites. It has an amazing view, is tastefully furnished and decorated and we’ve never seen a property so clean and meticulously furnished and supplied. We love coming here in the winter to go skiing and have some quiet time. But I imagine this is a great spot in the summer also. Looking forward to the developing Rumford Community Forest for even more options to recreate. We can’t wait to come back!

Amy's place was in the perfect location for our vacation plans .We loved hearing the river behind the house with the windows open also really enjoyed using the sauna. I hadn't been in one since I very young with my Finnish family. the house was furnished with everything we needed to feel comfortable! we definitely would like to go back again at some point. Although the lack of running water and incinerator sound intimidating, Stacia has made the home work great with a pump for the kitchen sink, a simple tank with spout for bathroom sink. the incinerator was something new so took a little getting used to but definitely works great. the house is absolutely lovely, the area is peaceful, and quiet with a beautiful mountain view from the side yard, I think I only saw 2 cars on the road the entire weekend. if we go back to the area, we will definitely be staying here again

The house was beautifully designed in a way that compliments the nature all around it. The natural wood work is so beautiful. The backyard view of the mountains is so magnificent. I wanted an off the grid location and with this listing, I definitely got it. Everything you pretty much need is in the house. The kitchen is very wide and spacious for family meals. The house was bigger than expected which was a plus. The sauna was perfect. Still had the newly built sauna smell. There are several trails you can hike. Just make sure to bring repellant. I got the chance to meet the owner and his wife. Very nice and hospitable people. It was a pleasure getting to know a little amount them and the ins and outs of the land. I would 100% recommend this place. I’ll definitely be back.

Nice location just take about 5 minutes to go to the Sunday river mountain ski area. Lots of gas stations and markets there. We love the cozy sofa and comfort bed. Easy to park. Function well heater.
