Great place!! Very spacious one bedroom and full kitchen and full bathroom was great!! Prepare for a soft bed and plenty of extra everything. Was wonderful view of peaceful farm land. Pictures do not do it justice- beautiful inside and out. We loved the access to laundry too. The family and their sweet doggie were friendly and helpful. Amazing place in the heart of all the great things to do in the UP! If you have any mobility challenges I do recommend selecting another spot though, as this lower level of a house apartment is only accessible down a step grass slope with no walkway, handrails or stairs.

This house is lovely! We were comfortable here, and we were happy to retreat back at the house at the end of each day of exploring and adventuring around Munising and Marquette. The drive to hiking, sightseeing, water activities, shopping, and restaurants was simple and easy (allow for 25-35 min drive- it is worth it!). The house has everything you need! The bed is very soft (and a bit high off the ground). The non-stick pans in the kitchen were helpful. The front porch is so cozy and the windows were so easy to open to enjoy the cool morning breeze. If you bring a Roku for the tv- do not forget your remote. We ended up using the house’s blue ray player and we watched some of the movies that were provided, but we also downloaded movies on my iPad to watch. I was perfectly happy to read a book while sipping coffee on the porch. I highly recommend this sweet home. We enjoyed ourselves, and the communication with Travis was exceptional!

stayed here for the weekend to enjoy the beautiful autumn weather and explore pictured rocks along with surrounding hiking trails. this place was comfortable, cozy and had everything we could possibly need. the location is great as it’s a 15 minute drive to marquette and a 40 minute drive ish to pictured rocks. we were completely satisfied with our stay and not to mention Matt’s cohost Lindsay who was extremely friendly and attentive via text. Overall, i loved it and hope to be back in the near future!😊 Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a snug and peaceful stay.

Great little spot for a jumping off point for more hiking in the area. Little bar offering pizza and drinks is right next door. Friendly people. Enjoyed the area and the quick stay. Place exceeded cleanliness expectations.
