Welcome to Villa Jaakkola! Villa Jaakkola is a log villa completed in 2022 in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski. The villa is spacious and spacious. There is one bedroom and a living room/kitchen downstairs. There's also plenty of room and sleeping space on the loft. A new beach sauna will be built at the cottage in the summer of 2026. The cottage has all the comforts of modernity, and the large windows open up to a great lake view in two directions. In the warmth of the fireplace, it's lovely to watch the Northern Lights and listen to the silence. Welcome!

Enjoy the ease of life at this peaceful, centrally-located place. Air conditioning, air source heat pump. Drive right up to the door. Kajaani Airport 90 km, Oulu Airport 160 km. Good views of the lake and the Kainuu mountains (100 m to the slopes). Ski, hike or just stay and relax. On the B side, Ukkohalla's services are a 700 m walk away.

Villa Salme: Cozy lakeside logcabin+private beach

A well-equipped log cabin in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski, Finland´s Northeast. The cabin features a combined living room and kitchen + 1 bedroom. During the summer an attic room with a double bed is also in use. Use of a rowing boat, an Indian canoe and 2 stand-up paddleboards & use of the grillhut & firewood are included in the rent. You can also rent 1 single kayak separately, rental price 20€/day. Sandy-bottomed shallow beach facing south, providing a great swimming spot. Pets are also welcome!

Welcome to enjoy being our guest at Ukkohalla. A clean and well-equipped cottage for rent in a quiet location, very close to services and activities. The cottage is located a stone's throw from all activities. For example, the ski slopes, Ukkohalla's sauna world, and Wakerada are a 5-minute walk away. Ski tracks and sled trails 150m away. THE SUP BOARD IS INCLUDED IN THE CABIN RENTAL. Charging an electric/hybrid car is possible at low power and for an additional fee. 17 EUR/day
