We highly recommend staying at Francesco's country house. It's very spacious and the view from the newly built veranda is wonderful. Don't be startled when Francesco wanders around the place as he is still very active on the land around the house. Thank you Francesco!

A great stay with Michele who was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay! The house has a great terrace overlooking the castle and valley. Convenient to access hikes to Etna Thanks!

Comfortable and unique place with lots of light and windows spread throughout it’s four levels. As lovely as the interior is, the roof deck with sweeping views of Etna is the star though. The charming town is a real place (unlike luxury, tourist traps like skippableTaormina). Google maps initially let us to the wrong spot and a number of kind locals interrupted their evening and came down from their balconies to help us. An easy drive to a number of great wineries. The host was alsoextremely helpful, making multiple dinner reservations for us and calling around if something wasn’t available. Highly recommended.

So sad to leave this superb environment. Marina went above and beyond to make us welcome and offer very useful advice.
