Located close to the restaurant section and the nice lake shore park.

Our original Airbnb was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances by the owner, however Susan was immediately in touch and provided alternative recommendations. This apartment was wonderful! The photos do not do it justice and the place is huge. While located above businesses, we never experienced any street noise. I would not hesitate to book this apartment again.

A lovely stay at the cottage. Easy lockbox entry though I accidentally set off the alarm. The kitchen has pots, pans, tea, oil, salt pepper etc, cozy well styled living space, and comfy bedding with choice of firm or soft pillows. Portacot and high chair available, handy if travelling with a baby though beware upstairs floorboards creak. The place looks like the photos, perhaps better! but what you can't see is the cottage is on the same premises as a main house, only 20m away. The cottage living and kitchen looks onto the main house front entry and large windows to their home, this didn't bother us too much, overall the owners made themselves scarce but unfortunately we were woken up by people knocking loudly and repeatedly on the main house front door at 11.45pm, which alarmed us thinking they were knocking at the cottage. Also to mention persistent smell of sulfur which is to be expected in this area, but fine inside with the doors closed. Overall very comfortable.

We had a comfortable stay at this place. It was as described. For us this time, the location was an important decision factor in selecting accommodation. We needed an accommodation within our budget that is within short walking distance to the Rotorua iSite visitor information centre so that we could catch the tour bus to Hobitton next morning. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Sylvana sent us check-in information way ahead of time. They also very quickly resolved our parking issue when we found a different car was parked on our parking spot. Besides, it's conveniently located close to all local amenities like Woolworths, service station, fast food or restaurants. So, it works out whether you're eating out or not. Overall, we had a pleasant two nights stay at this place.

Convenient location with two bedrooms and small kitchenette. Good value for the price.

And the electric blanket was a blessing.” - says mum If you’re looking for a comfortable resting place with tasteful decor, luxurious & unique additions like a towel warmer rack, homemade jams, Netflix on tv, extra pillows & cushions, actually nice smelling bathroom products, a cookie jar & coffee machine, fruit from the garden if you’re lucky, filtered spring water every day, and a little lovely breakfast bar, look no further than Janey’s place. So many extras I hadn’t expected, Janey went above and beyond to accommodate my mum and myself with such warmth & kindness. Oh did I mention the water view from the rooms? Spectacular. We stayed 4 nights and loved coming back to being able to have dinner at home, even with a kitchenette, some extra cooking appliances from Janey helped, she was just so thoughtful! Thank you Janey, you made our trip with your hospitality. Highly recommend.

A very lovely home, clean and in a very nice location. I stayed here with my family for Rotorua Marathon. Great communication- we even got a welcome note and sweets! Totally recommend and I would stay here again next time I am in Rotorua

A beautiful loft well appointed, cosy, stylish and in vogue with memorabilia of Lake Tarawera. Enjoyed the park like setting, my dog loved it & his basket plus doggy snacks. Enjoyed the eggs x

The place is very spacious with a river side view, there are ducks and goose swimming freely under a nice sunshine. The toilet is very clean, the beddings are all white and comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped with a nice dishwasher which save our time to clean up the kitchen. It is very easy for us to park the car and it is quite close to the city a 15mins drive. Overall, it is a nice place and we hope to visit there again in the future.

Nice apartments In a quiet street very close to the many city of Rotorua. And lots of places to dine in eat street. The apartments was spacious and well presented. We had one of the back apartments so our car was completely hidden from the street.

Nice place, lovely and helpful-waited for us to check in. Had air conditioning on when we arrived so room was cool. Good kitchen facilities and lots of milk.

Kate’s place was perfect! It was cozy and we loved soaking in the amazing view! The place was also extremely clean and had little thoughtful touches that we really appreciated!

Grant was an excellent host who was very attentive to our needs and flexible with checkin. The place was very clean and actually bigger than the pictures provided. It was in a great location where we were able to walk to a nearby park with hot springs and a beautiful lake, as well as great restaurants and stores. Had an amazing stay and would highly recommend!
