This bed and breakfast is a real gem! The rooms are spacious and clean, with lovely extra's (like the shoe cleaning kit, mini fridge, and shampoo and body wash in the bathroom). The breakfast room is bright, sunny and offers a stunning view of the mountains. Angelo was a bubbly and attentive host and went out of his way to ensure our every need was met. Breakfast was delicious and included home-baked goods and preserves, made by Angelo's mother. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for warm, Italian hospitality.

Siamo stati solo una notte ma ci sarebbe piaciuto stare di più, Carla è stata gentilissima e ci ha fatte sentire a casa. Avevamo prenotato un’altra camera che purtroppo ha subito dei danni dai clienti precedenti ma abbiamo avuto più opzionj tra cui scegliere come alternativa e siamo state benissimo durante la nostra permanenza ☺️

Santa Sofia is a place you might choose to be immersed in nature to hear bird song and experience majestic views of the mountains in the distance and the local hills lined with fruit and olive trees. If you want to be in a large spacious homely house where you are treated as a friend not as a stranger then come here. Elisabetta is warm, kind and caring woman typical of this region where connecting with people is the most important part of travelling. I was very sad to leave but hope to return. She took care of me and provided wonderful breakfasts of local produce. My room had a lovely terrace with a tranquil aspect and bed was large and comfortable. Just wonderful.

Der B&B Aufenthalt war wie aus dem Bilderbuch mit einer einzigartigen Aussicht auf die Berge von der privaten sowie der Frühstücksterasse. Zudem ist die Lage der Unterkunft perfekt als Startpunkt für Wanderungen oder eine Einkehr in der Stadt. Der Parkplatz ist direkt an der Unterkunft und die Küche konnte mitgenutzt werden. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, abwechslungsreich und immer frisch zubereitet. Debora ist eine sehr herzliche Gastgeberin, die einem jeden Wunsch von den Lippen abliest und eine Menge Tipps und Empfehlungen parat hat.

A lovely experience staying at Luca's place in a little village in the mountains overlooking the sea. Space was great with a private bathroom, wonderful breakfast, friendly hosts, and all the peace and quiet I needed. I spent about a week there, exploring Calabria and it's diverse areas. It was a genuine experience. Highly recommend without reservation. Thank you, Luca!

Great place. The breakfast was amazing as MariaTeresa was preparing the cakes every day. Both Mimmo and MariaTeresa are great host and we learnt a lot about the surroundings. Both the hosts are really idealistic and aim at improving and promoting the region. The kids loved the dog, the cats and the nature around. We would definitively go back again.

Il posto è ideale per chi viaggia perché è vicinissimo dall'autostrada. L'accoglienza e la disponibilità di Domenico perfette.

Abbiamo pernottato una sola notte e siamo una famiglia con 2 bambini. Arrivati alle ore 14 ci è stata subito consegnata la camera ed è stato molto piacevole apprezzarla. Ambiente confortevole essenziale e funzionale. La camera era pulita ben disposta ed ordinata. Il letto comodissimo. Il borgo visitato a piedi è stato gradevole te apprezzato da tutta la famiglia. Al rientro dalla passeggiata abbiamo trascorso un po' di tempo in terrazza. Fatta mattina ci è stata servita in terrazza un'ottima colazione varia e ben curata. La padrona di casa, Antonella, è stata impeccabile sempre gentile e disponibile, ci ha trasmesso calma e serenità. Da ripetere.

I had a wonderful experience staying in San Cosmo Albanese. The village is small but full of charm, history, and warmth. Walking through the narrow streets, you can feel the deep roots of Arbëreshë culture everywhere — from the architecture to the language and traditions still alive among the locals.
