The Stables - Farm at Freeburgh on Ovens River

With direct, private access to the Great Valley Trail and the Ovens River, The Stables provides luxurious bespoke accommodation and complimentary mountain bikes for your stay. Located on 10 acres, The Stables is an outbuilding to the family home, along with our farm stay, The Barn. Within 10 minutes to the tourist town of Bright, and in close proximity to Falls Creek and Mt Hotham, only a short 45 minute drive away for hiking & skiing. Horse stays are also an option, with trail riding close by!

The Manager's Residence

Conveniently located in picturesque Myrtleford, next door to the Old Butter Factory, The Manager's Residence is a lovingly renovated Victorian property which has been in our family for over 40 years! Situated at your doorstep is the Historic Reform Hill along with the famous Murray to Mountains Rail Trail. The property features a bullnose verandah and all the modern facilities you need for an enjoyable stay, with 3 spacious guest rooms and large open plan living overlooking an outside deck.

Lupo’s Loft

Lupo’s Loft is upstairs at Lupo’s Kiln Cafe. Luxury accommodation for 2 in a king bed, complimentary champagne on arrival, free WiFi, Netflix TV, kitchenette, bathroom and sofa lounge. Ideally located on the rail trail and the Great Alpine Road it is the perfect location for a romantic getaway. Lupo’s Kiln Cafe is open for lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday’s and lunch only on Sunday’s. Spoil yourself with some delicious Italian food. Open from 11am - 10pm Fri & Sat. 11am - 4pm Sun.

Cycling, Golf and walking tracks, Mount Buffalo and its historic chalet are all nearby. With a adequate equipped kitchen and a BBQ on your own veranda where you can eat and enjoy the view. You will be within 15 minutes of the tourist towns of Bright, Porepunkah and Myrtleford. Easy day trips to Mount Buffalo National Park and the ski-fields of Mount Hotham and Falls Creek.

Green Gables

Green Gables is a peaceful cottage situated in lush gardens on the banks of the Ovens River in Bright. The Murray to Mountains Rail Trail is right on our doorstep and we are also directly behind the Bright golf course- so pack your clubs! From Green Gables, it is an easy walk, ride or drive into the township of Bright with its boutique shops and eateries, regular festivals and of course beautiful European style landscape all nestled in the foothills of the Victorian Alps.

Peony Farm Green Cottage

Welcome to Stanley on the edge of the Victorian Alps. The Stanley Peony Farm features two self contained guest cottages, quaint, peaceful and very much unique for the area. This cottage, named Alice Harding after the well known peony cultivar, is set amongst an established garden with oaks, Japanese maples, liquid ambers, claret ash and tulip trees. The setting provides a great place to relax and unwind whilst enjoying all that this area has to offer.
