Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Rorschacherberg

Wir verbrachten hier ein sehr schönes Wochenende. Die Unterkunft hat alles, was es braucht und die Lage ist sehr schön: eine gute Aussicht, umgeben von Schafweiden, ruhig und privat. Karin hat auf Nachfragen sehr schnell und freundlich reagiert.

Spectacular location and a house that matches.. we had a lovely time, very well designed and built house, takes fully advantage of the beautiful scenery out side, highly recommended.. PS.. this applies for only during May-June ‘25 as the road in front of the house is getting repaired, it is important to note that there is only walking access to the house. This means that guests will need to carry their luggage for certain sections of the route from the parking lot.. just to provide clarity there is no option to drag your wheeled luggage to the house, it will need to be carried. Just wanted to provide this clarity as I thought this was assumed by us.. although the host had communicated to use about the access but this aspect was not clarified.

Wir haben hier mit 6 Personen 4 tolle Tage verbracht! Das Haus ist sehr schön gelegen, bietet eine wunderbare Aussicht und ist ideal für Wanderausflüge oder auch einfach zum abschalten geeignet. Das Haus ist sehr gross und geräumig, jeder von uns hatte ein Einzelzimmer zur Verfügung, zudem sind viele Parkplätze vorhanden und auch eine Bushaltestelle befindet sich direkt beim Haus. Die grosse Terrasse mit Grill und Liegestühlen sowie das lichtdurchflutete Ess/Wohnzimmer sind das Prachstück des Hauses. Das hauseigene, gut ausgestattete Fitnesscenter ist zusammen mit der Sauna das Tüpfelchen auf dem i! Die Küche ist grundsätzlich sehr gut ausgerüstet, Kaffeemaschine inklusive Bohnen sowie Mikrowelle und Toaster vorhanden. Essig/Öl sowie viele Gewürze sind ebenso sehr hilfreich. Gläser, Besteck und Geschirr, sowie Messer in allen Grössen sind auch da. Grosser Kühlschrank mit Eisfach und Spülmaschine auch top. Die Sauberkeit war okay aber nicht überragend.

Wir waren zu zweit im wunderhübschen Hausteil von Wendy und Sven. Wendy hat uns empfangen und uns die charmante Wohnung in ihrem Appenzellerhaus gezeigt. In der geräumigen Küche konnten wir uns perfekt verpflegen, der Kühlschrank ist gross und es ist genügend Geschirr vorhanden. Super, dass es auch eine Spülmaschine gibt! Tabs, Spühlmittel, Schwamm, genügend Küchentücher, alles vorhanden. Auch genügend Handtücher und Toilettenpapier. Es hat uns nichts gefehlt. Wir haben schöne Wanderungen unternommen und sind im benachbarten Heiden gut Essen gegangen. Auch das Henry Dunant Museum in Heiden haben wir besucht - sehr interessant! Im gemütlichen Wohnzimmer konnten wir uns dann gut erholen und unsere Erlebnisse revue passieren lassen. Die Decken und Türrahmen sind niedrig, weil es ein altes, sehr hübsch, renoviertes, Appenzeller Haus ist, man muss ein bisschen aufpassen. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch bei Wendy und Sven!

Wir waren mit unserer 21 Monate alten Tochter da und haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt, daher klare Empfehlung 😊

We stayed at Eden Cottage for 3 nights in mid June, as a family of 4 adults and our dog. Big thanks to our host Martina, who was very prompt and supportive with any of our requests. Checking into the house was very easy, and all house rules were clearly communicated. A Things-To-Do folder made it easy for spontaneous activity ideas. The house is well located in the countryside of Stein am Rhein, and is very close to supermarkets. The railway station, Rhine river and old town are within 10-15 minutes walking distance. The house itself is ideal for 4 people and a pet. All amenities are available, and the interior decor is great and thoughtful. The large garden is beautiful with many plants and trees. Our dog really enjoyed himself exploring around the garden. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit again!

I have so many good things to say about this place. Philip was incredibly kind and helpful. The place was stunning, the pictures don’t do it justice. It is peaceful and walkable and everywhere you look is beautiful. The place is cozy and super clean, I loved opening the windows and just staring out at the view. I would recommend this place to anyone!!

Pascal und Ailine waren wie immer herzlich und einladend. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und gemütlich. Ich fühle mich jedes mal Wohl, wenn ich dort bin und es fehlt an nichts! Danke für den Schokokuchen diesmal :D

Innerhalb 10 min ist man direkt am Wasser. Läuft man jedoch Richtung Wohnung, wird es immer leiser, bis man nichts mehr hört, wenn man die Wohnung erreicht hat. Man ist nur von Naturgeräuschen umgeben. Man konnte auch problemlos mehrere Stunden in der Wohnung verbringen, falls zb schlechtes Wetter war. Der Kontakt mit Angelika war sehr nett. Die Empfehlungen waren hilfreich und haben die Zeit dort noch mehr verschönert. Würde auf jeden Fall wieder hingehen.

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in der sehr sauberen und super ausgestatteten Wohnung genossen. Mit dem Auto haben wir viele Ausflüge gemacht und auch vor Ort haben wir einige Wanderwege genutzt. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt, konnten uns jederzeit an Michael wenden und haben gute Ausflugstipps bekommen. Gerne kommen wir wieder!

Un havre de paix au milieu des montagnes où le temps semble ralentir. Le jardin plein de verdure, la vue magnifique.. tout invite à la déconnexion. La piscine pour les journées ensoleillées et la cheminée pour les soirées hivernales sont un vrai plus. L'appartement est très bien équipé. Lucky est une hôte douce, bienveillante et attentionnée. Merci Lucky, pour tout, du fond de notre cœur. Une escapade qu’on aimerait revivre encore et encore. Nous gardons un très beau souvenir du Liechtenstein et recommandons ce coin de paradis, chez Lucky.

Cozy, nice place with everything as listed. We enjoyed our stay and the host was super helpful and prompt in their responses. Smooth check-in and check out, walkable distance from both the train and the port. Highly recommend

Meine Erfahrung war sehr angenehm - von der Buchung bis hin zum Check Out. Dominik ist äußerst freundlich und beantwortet sehr schnell und zuverlässig alle Fragen und das Airbnb ist klein, gemütlich und super gelegen, um fußläufig alle Orte zu erkunden, oder mit dem Zug. Gerne wieder.

Stephan's place is a lovely studio apartment. Very modern and clean, I loved staying there. ❤️ The pool area looks lovely! I struggled a bit with my heavy suitcase, up to the 3rd floor with no lift but I was expecting that. It's an easy 10 minutes walk to the waterfront or 15 minutes scooter ride (Dott App) to the Messe Friedrichshafen for conferences. Be aware there's no Uber or English speaking taxis, but Stephan was so lovely to book me a taxi from the station and back again! I would definitely stay again.

Ich war mit einer Freundin und meinem Hund in Valdenias Wohnung. Es ist traumhaft. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was es braucht und sehr sauber und persönlich eingerichtet. Der Garten ist riesig und ein Traum. Gepflegt und mediterran. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die kleinen Gesten wie frische Eier und ein Hundebett sind sehr aufmerksam. Es ist rundum stimmig. Vielen Dank.

Really nice appartment perfectly located in Walenstadt. It's a two-bedroom apartment with a separate kitchen and both roomy bathroom and living/diningroom. Highlight is the nice view from the living room as well as the outside area. Fully and well equipped: comfortable beds, the kitchen incl. dish-washing and coffee machines, living room featuring TV incl. gaming console, grill in the exterior area. Some details went beyond expectations: bathroom with pleasant toileteries, complete equipment to grill outside. Location is really convenient. Aprox 10 min walk from both the centre of Walenstadt, as well as from the lake and the big playground for the kids. The area is residential area, at the very end of street hence quite and reassuring for the kids playing outside. Michaela was a wonderful host, preparing the appartment up to details, and also answering questions and helping us to make the stay even more convenient. Looking forward to coming back soon!

wir waren auf der Durchreise und froh, dass es super ruhig und unkompliziert war alles. Wollten uns einfach nur von der langen Fahrt erholen und fit werden für den nächsten Reisetag. das ging pima. Danke

The apartment has some of the best views of anywhere we have stayed. Spectacular mountain scenery for relaxing in the evenings. A fantastic location to be based for hiking the Liechtenstein way for a week. All amenities you could need are provided. Bus stop 1 minute from the apartment to bring you to Vaduz with easy connections to everywhere, or Malbun in the other direction. We did not meet Sigi but she gave clear instructions and was responsive to all of our questions.

We had a great stay at Marcus and Lana's place. The apartment is lovely, and it was spotless. The location is great, especially for wine lovers, as there are many wineries accessible on foot! ;) There was a private parking space, and the location allows you to reach many tourist points on the Bodensee by car quite quickly. The neighbourhood is very peaceful. We did not bike, but the location seemed great for it, and there was even a bike rental nearby. Overall, we had a great time and we would come back again. Definitely recommend it!

Beautiful apartment located right on the water. This was an amazing experience for my family. Had everything we needed and the beds were very comfy! We had an amazing time! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Amazing views and excellent location.

Wir legen jedem die Unterkunft ans Herz. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und schon, viele Extras wie Adapter für die Steckdose, wurden bei unserer Ankunft freundlich und herzlich begrüßt. Hatten nur Kontakt mit Raphael, wo von unserer Seite die Chemie sofort gepasst hat. Wenn nochmal Schweiz dann nur zu Raphael und Diana❤️ Danke für alles 😘

Die Wohnung ist super. Leider ging es mir bei Anreise nicht gut (wir waren nur auf der Durchreise nachhause) und haben uns dann entschlossen weiter heim zu fahren :-( Trotzdem waren alle sehr lieb und verständnisvoll.

Die Unterkunft von Gabriela war wirklich sehr sauber und es wurden auch reichlich Handtücher zur Verfügung gestellt. Außerdem verlief der Check-in problemlos und schnell. Gabriela ist eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin und man konnte ihr immer schreiben, wenn was mit der Wohnung war. Sie hat uns viele Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt in Bregenz gegeben. Es gibt nichts negatives zu sagen. 😊☀️
