Charming apartment in Bellagio, just a step from the centre. From the principal balcony you have a stunning view of the lake and of the famous Villa Serbelloni. The apartment is on two floors: on the first one there is the living room, a bathroom, the kitchen and also a chimney; on the second one there is a bathroom and a big bedroom with a double bed and two single ones. The apartment occupies the ground floor of a grand villa built in 1903. It was renovated in 2022-23 and retains many period features. Guests have access to a large communal garden with views of the lake and mountains. The villa is located in Somana village, part of the Lake Como town of Mandello del Lario. Somana is popular with hikers as walks lead directly from the village. Mandello is less “discovered” compared to other lake towns and has a beach, bars, restaurants and ferry services.

We had a very nice time in the accommodation. Everything was as described, clean and well organized. The garden directly on the lake is particularly noteworthy – a real highlight and a wonderful place to relax. The village of Onno delighted us: quiet, charming and scenic. The locals were also consistently friendly and open to us, which further enriched the stay. Thank you for the hospitality!

Donata’s little flat is perfect for 2 people. Amazing views, the apartment had everything we needed, it was in the middle of the old town so lots of great places to walk. I would definitely recommend Donata, her lovely daughter who does all the translation and Mandela del Lario which was a perfect place to visit
