Yes, where do I start, this accommodation was definitely one of our best accommodations on Airbnb. Rolando and his family were extremely friendly and welcomed us warmly. The hut itself is located in the core of the national park and the most beautiful hikes start right at the doorstep. The terrace had it all, it was full of peace and the view was beautiful. The cottage itself was equipped with every detail. I can also highly recommend the breakfast, as it is extensive with own products. All in all, I liked this accommodation better than a 5-star hotel. If you want to experience a unique holiday, I highly recommend this accommodation!

A beautiful, idyllic place in the middle of the mountains – perfect for switching off. The apartment was clean, tidy and there is a wood stove. There was always plenty of wood. The terrace overlooking the valley and the surrounding mountains was a dream! Thanks to the awning, you also had a shady spot in the sun, ideal for relaxing. All around, cows graze with cowbells. Massimo lives in the apartment above. You can hear it sometimes. The accommodation is quite well equipped – everything you need was there. The path up to the hut is winding and narrow in places, but it is quite doable. It takes about 6 minutes by car to get down to the village, where there is a small minimarket if you have forgotten something. A hike from Lago di Antrona to Lago di Campliccioli and around was really nice. A hike above the accommodation at Lago Alpe dei Cavalli is also worthwhile. You can even see ibex. A really nice place to relax.

We spent 4 days in Campello Monti in Paolo's Chalet. The chalet is small, very cute and has the essentials. Warm with pellet stove. It can be reached by a fairly long staircase so I recommend not bringing too heavy luggage!!! The village is beautiful, nature walks even within reach of children. Our family very much thanks Paolo for his courtesy and availability! We hope to be back soon!!!

Both Monica and Fabrizio are very kind and helpful hosts. We spent two nights in the winter, but the house was pleasantly heated (wood-burning boiler). The house is well equipped and spacious. Highly recommended for families. We hope to come back in the summer.

This house is a gem. We loved our stay in this charming, authentic, meditative, regenerative place in the middle of nature. Still close to Ameno and the Lago d'Orta, we felt as if we were getting out of time and out of the modern way of living. The calmness helped us slow down and reconnect with what matters the most in life: serenity. Waking up and going to bed with a beautiful scenery — and a comfortable bed — is wonderful. Rather we stayed inside, or outside on the balcony or in the garden, we appreciated the view of the mountains and the sky; hearing the wind, the stream and the birds; reading a book; talking and laughing; or just stay in silence… Francesca is a fantastic host: very hospitable, friendly and helpful. She decorated and curated her house with taste and authenticity. The house is well equipped, with everything we might need. We would also recommend to eat at the Osteria literally next door: very simple, yet very good and the hosts are charming too. Thank you!

This is a beautiful apartment in a stunning location. The balconies overlook the lake and we spent time just sitting and admiring the view in the sunshine. The beds are super comfortable, the apartment was spotlessly clean and fairly well equipped - would have liked a microwave. Excellent air conditioning. The location is not a tourist town, but there is a limited ferry service that takes you to all of the attractions, and buses run hourly. While there is no local beach, I was able to find a nearby spot intended for small boats that provided a lovely point to swim from. While the location is peaceful, the noise from the road is constant during the day and the people in the apartment above were very stompy. As a very reasonably priced accommodation we felt we got excellent value for money.

I would like to congratulate Claudio 1) for his kindness and availability and 2) for his apartment (Kalipè residence in Alagna Valsesia), where my family and I had a great time. Claudio was a really polite person and managed to facilitate our holiday by meeting our simple (but for us important) requests.
