The cottage is a small house in my garden. It's built to be used as my work space, but it was just to good to be a workshop, so we turned it into a guest house. It offers more privacy than staying in the main house, but is a little more primitive. Guests appreciate the cottage.

Trodla-Tysdal has been a tourist destination for hikers since 1892. Tourists have to walk for appox. 3 hours (7 km) from Kleivaland parking place. There is no driving road to Trodla-Tysdal. Trodla-Tysdal means the valley of the Norwegian Trolls due the wilderness and dramatic nature. In 1996 Reidunn and Kjell built a tourist cabin for hikers. In 1998 in addition a small private cabin. In 2017 this small cabin was renewed and now it is possible to book this small cabin for you.

The guesthouse is located in our garden, close to the main house. The house is 19m2 with a sofa that sleeps two people. The house also has a kitchen, bathroom and a small loft (not for sleeping).
