Chalet holiday rentals in Rocky Mountains

Jeff is a friendly, flexible and responsive host. My wife and I have been coming to Fish Lake for years and really enjoy the area. The fishing dock is easily accessible (with a magnificent view) and mushroom foraging nearby keeps us busy. The cabin was as advertised with all amenities provided. The beds were quite comfortable. The AC was appreciated when the afternoon temps reached into the mid 80’s. Though once the sun went down, open windows kept the cabin cool enough. We appreciated the opportunity to keep the cleaning fee to a minimum by picking up after ourselves. Jeff provided all necessary cleaning materials. A great trip. We’ll be back. .

We loved our stay at the Mill Valley Chalet! We felt super comfortable and at ease right when we walked in - mellow/calming instrumental music was playing, what a nice touch :) Being surrounded by redwoods, in a home made from redwood trees was magical. We loved that we could walk across the street and down the stairs into town. There were various delicious restaurants (we highly recommend Flour Craft Bakery and Piazza D'Angelo) nearby as well as a market and little shops. Super close to incredible hikes in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (NPS) and Mt. Tamalpais too. We really loved sitting out on the decks amongst the redwoods, and even saw a buck with large fuzzy antlers. The kitchen has everything you need including cooking oil, coffee, tea, and spices; the showers had nice water pressure; and the beds were pretty comfortable - the downstairs bed was a little firm, and upstairs medium firm. Matt and Krisztina were easy to communicate with, too :)

Beautiful cabin home near Columbia Falls. Peaceful and beautiful views from the back deck. Very responsive owners and communication was excellent. Quaint and exactly what we were expecting for our trip. Would love to book again on our next visit!

This place was very nice. The views were absolutely awesome! One of our favorite things was sitting in the chairs right next to the hummingbird feeder. It was really fun to watch!

Wow just wow!! Like many of the other reviewers have indicated the place actually is even more spectacular than the pictures (and the pictures are very nice). We had a Mother's Day weekend here and we loved how close it was to Calgary while feeling a world away due to being in the middle of a beautiful forest away from it all!! The place is sooo huge (the part you can't fully grasp from the pictures) while still feeling cozy especially with the 2 way fireplace with a crackling fire going. We spent a lot of time on the deck incl hottub and we were very impressed with the well stocked kitchen and Sarah quickly responded to queries. The only thing to know about if planning a stay here is that one of the upstairs bedrooms with amazing soaring vaulted windows has no window coverings and even though we were there in May the sun was shining in our eyes very early in the morning and this would be even more a thing in the summer so maybe bring those sleep masks for those in that room.

The Chalet worked well for what we were looking for - a home base close-ish to the S entrance of Crater Lake for a quick stop after a weekend in Bend with our kids. The town this is in doesn’t have much (it has a small mini-mart style grocery store and not many restaurant options), so having a kitchen was so helpful and a must! The chalet is easy to find and get into and the hosts were very responsive to questions. It is rustic, so there were some bugs were inside (didn’t bother us). It’s about 45 minutes from the Crater Lake visitor center and 25/30 from the cute town of Klamath Falls which had good dinner options. Beautiful setting near a lake and very quiet!

Great little getaway from the hustle and bustle. Enjoyed sitting around the fire, farm fresh eggs, and the most amazing beds! Cabin was super clean and comfortable. Would love to visit in the winter!

Aundrea’s place was very clean, and we could not get enough of the beautiful mountain view. We would definitely stay here again.

Wowie, where do I begin! I stay in Airbnb’s often & Nicole is by far my favorite host. We had a few phone calls and great conversation about my upcoming stay. She was incredibly accommodating with early check in & this is the best stocked Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Every kitchen gadget, pen and paper, plenty of blankets. We felt right at home. The house is large and spread out, the backyard is great for activities, the kitchen and living area is a dream for hosting large gatherings and ALL of the beds are comfortable. I will be back 🖤

We brought our family from England and it was the most amazing time! The house is beautiful - the views are incredible and are the focal point of the house. The kitchen, bedrooms, and all of the amenities the house has to offer just make it that much better! We will definitely be back!

We had our family together for some February Winter fun. We appreciated all of the information about "Things to Do" "Places to Visit / Eat / Play". The home was well equipped and gave each of us (three couples) enough social space as well as personal space. Would recommend this location and property to those coming with similar size families.

There were 10 of us plus a dog in our group. We all agreed “Best Vacation Ever” and wished we had more time because there are so many things to do! We loved being able to walk out of the house and hike, the views were breathtaking and we had rain, sleet and sunny days all in a 5-d span. It was magical and can’t wait to return. Joel was an exceptional host and we can’t thank him enough for allowing us to gather as a family in such beautiful surroundings!

Stunning views! Located so close to the national park that we did multiple day trips. Plenty of room for our whole group of 11 and the kids loved the loft upstairs! Hot tub on the deck was an added bonus. The house is close to many wonderful restaurants and shops.

Beautiful and cozy home away from home! The house was everything we needed and much more. It was a well stocked retreat, full of kitchen essentials, and lots of amenities. We loved making big family breakfasts and dinners every day, playing pool and enjoying the gorgeous scenery. The outside patio was spacious, equipped with a nice propane grill, furniture for the whole family and an outdoor fireplace, perfect for making s’mores! Everyone slept great, adults and toddlers alike, we appreciated the luxurious cozy beds and linens. Great bedroom configurations and nice bathrooms. We were so thankful for the cribs and highchairs, and plush towels. There was plently of space for the whole family to spread out, hang together or have private space. We were so sad to leave! A great PNW escape. We will be back!

Scott and Tim were so responsive and helpful. Their house was absolutely perfect for our trip to Yosemite. They had everything we could possibly need. The house was extremely comfortable. The kids especially loved the “kids club” in the garage.

This house is perhaps the best Airbnb I've stayed in. A few things that stand out: - incredibly clean. - any and all kitchen extras you can imagine (coffee grinder, cocktails mixers etc.) - every detail was of high quality. Everything in the kitchen worked wonderfully, the couch was comfortable, the lighting was fantastic. - Great location! Right in front of the golf course. would highly highly recommend!

This was the perfect place to stay on our last leg of our trip. Everything was spotless and the house was set up so that there is enough space to get away, but you are not isolated. We enjoyed the kayak and all of the amenities. Perfect for our family of five, including three young-adult “children”.

We really enjoyed our stay. The lake frontage was perfect for all the activities we had planned. The house was spotless. The house was stocked with everything we needed for our stay.

Alanna, Thanks so much for letting us stay Redfish Lakehouse. Our family of 5 plus our Lab had a fantastic time. Lots of swimming and lake activities! Just what we were planning. We had a number of great dog walks by the Kokoanee spawning channels and spent lots of time watching the eagles, osprey, herons and turkey vultures set up shop on the beach. The beach was perfect, a couple of sandbars keep the boats away and make for a mostly sandy walk out to the deeper water. Great for kids and tired dogs! You are a pro - we had everything we needed inside and out - ice maker, Smart TV, extra lawn chairs, beach chairs, beach toys, table games, giant jenga and the dog towel! The deck was definitely a favourite. Lots of room and the afternoon shade was heaven sent at times! We look forward to staying again someday! Tammy & Greg

I rented this lake house for a company retreat, and it was absolutely incredible. The property is breathtaking—peaceful, relaxing, and even more beautiful than the photos. From the moment we arrived, everything just felt easy. The host was incredibly responsive and kind, with clear, helpful instructions that made check-in and the entire stay seamless. It was the perfect setting to unplug, reset, and reconnect as a team. I honestly hated leaving and would go back in a heartbeat. If you’re considering this place—do it. You won’t regret it.

We had a beautiful and serene stay—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The lake added a peaceful atmosphere, and having paddle boats available was such a thoughtful and fun bonus. The space was very clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of utensils, which made cooking easy. The beds were also super comfy. Overall, a lovely place to unwind. Highly recommend!

Great cabin with lots of space. Really well stocked with dishes, drink ware and all the kitchen items one could want. Parking was a little tough but Emma was able to help with additional very close parking. Fabulous responsive host and a really great space for a family reunion.

The cabin in Arnold was absolutely perfect. The space was wonderfully equipped with everything we needed — from a fully stocked kitchen to cozy furnishings that made us feel right at home. Every detail was so thoughtfully considered, from the labels on each cabinet (which made it super easy to stay organized) to the abundance of games that kept everyone entertained. You can tell the hosts really care about creating a welcoming and comfortable experience. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and fun — I would absolutely stay here again!
