My dog and I had a great stay. The deck faces the west, and the sunset was remarkable.

Dan & Holly are amazing hosts. They provided everything needed to make our week great. They left dining recommendations and all of the information we needed for the property. It was the perfect space for our family. The on-site amenities were great. The pool space was super clean and the staff was amazing. The property is well maintained and we had everything we needed to feel at home. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family. Downtown Rutland was a short drive, and there was so much to see just minutes from the property. Dan & Holly are extremely responsive and truly think of everything. We had no questions and checking in and out was a breeze because they are so thorough. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish.

We loved our stay. It was beautiful and we loved being right by the lake as well as the sauna, fire pit, and outdoor seating. The house was cozy and the little kids toy closet was such a cute touch. We had an amazing time on our family vacation and would definitely recommend this rental. Ash was also so communicative and ready to help if we ever needed anything. So thankful!

Booked the house for a writers' retreat, we all couldn't have been happier with the place and with our stay there. The house is spacious, but more importantly, it's very comfortably set up, with multiple areas to sit together, relax or work. The large windows on the first floor have an amazing view, in our case to a thunderstorm on our first night, which was pretty spectacular to see through all those windows. The kitchen had everything we needed to make some big breakfasts, and the location nearby to Middlebury and not far from Burlington was convenient. Rich's communication was excellent and we always felt that we had all the information we needed immediately at hand. I would absolutely recommend this place for a family or small group trip, and will hopefully have the chance to come back sometime!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home. We came with our 6 month old and 3 year old daughters and pup. There was plenty of space for the whole family and very kid friendly. We were saying when we were there that it would have been amazing with a group of friends for a girls weekend too! Beautiful spot where you feel like you’re deep in the Vermont woods but super close to downtown Woodstock. Would love to stay again if available!

We had a great stay! The home is beautiful and the hosts were very communicative.

We had a great time at David's place. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of firewood, and the hot tub was ready to go. The house was very clean. All the bedrooms had plenty of linens, and extra blankets. We would definitely stay at David's again!

We loved spending our time in Vermont at Bonnie’s place! The house had everything we needed and Bonnie was a great and responsive host. The horses next door were such a treat for our kids to see and the views were beautiful.

Great place! We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it an extra day. Hosts made it super easy to extend.

Chad was an incredible host! He was extremely accommodating with any requests we had. The views from his place are breath-taking! We enjoyed snowshoeing from the backyard onto trails in the woods. I fell in love with his cat who visited daily! He kept the driveway plowed and salted in a timely fashion. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend his place!

We enjoyed our stay. we felt at home. very spacious and cozy. this house has everything you need for your stay. Very close to Rutland. The fresh baked apple pie was a bonus. It was so delicious. Everything was perfect for us! Thank you! We will definitely be back again!

Beautiful spot to relax, reconnect and leave refreshed! We enjoyed everything about our stay, especially the sauna, living pool, and hike to the yurt! We would love to return, thank you for sharing such a peaceful place with us, it was exactly what we needed.

We really enjoyed this place! The property is beautiful. The pool looked really clean and well cared for (but we didn't have a chance to use it). The supplied linens and especially the bath towels were great. This certainly will be on our list the next time are in VT.

Nice place for the 6 of us and dog for a long ski weekend in March. Condo was as described. The kitchen was very clean, nothing in fridge. New fridge and new oven. The bathrooms were very clean. The beds were comfortable. The upstairs space a bit tight for 4 adults, but we managed fine. Two of the twin beds are in an open loft area, which didn’t bother us as we were all going to bed at the same time and waking early to go skiing. Just mentioning this in case you were looking for a 3rd bedroom that was fully enclosed. The Spa and Cafe/ Wine Bar were a great addition to our ski weekend activities. The host was wonderful and very responsive. We highly recommend this condo.

We had a great stay, enjoyed spending time in both the yard and pond relaxing. Loved the short hiking trail behind the home. Convenient location, close to great hiking and Stowe but still private and quiet. Our dog is already asking when we’re returning. Great stay!!!

Awesome little home tucked into the side of a mountain. Perfect location just outside of town(s). Clean & cozy. Pet friendly with so many walking trails with Blueberry lake being a 2 min drive (if that?). My dog and I had a blast. Perfect Ski weekend getaway spot to experience the Mad River Valley! Take proper warning of the need for winter tires. Dirt roads leading to the house are well maintained but still can be solid ice at times. Same with the driveway, which is a wee bit steep when snowy/slippery. Watch your step! Overall 10/10 will be back!!

The location is peaceful and private with a beautiful mountain view - maybe the most stunning view of any Air BNB we’ve stayed in!! Comfortable bed with cozy linens and very clean bathroom with all amenities (soaps, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer). Our dog was at home and welcomed with his own water bowl, dog bed and mats for his food bowls. He met the hosts dogs and they had a ball running around the grounds together. Coffee/tea station and seltzer water was a nice touch! I highly recommend Xtine’s place for your Castleton stay!

The Bunkhouse was an amazing, I’ve never stayed anywhere like it! The surroundings were beautiful and it is ~20 minutes away from downtown Stowe. The host was very responsive to my inquiries. I highly recommend staying here if you have the opportunity!

Sergjio's cabin was everything we could have wanted and more from a relaxing stay in Vermont. He greeted us and showed us inside the cabin, where he had wine and farm fresh eggs for us as a welcome gift. The cabin itself was beautiful and incredibly well kept. Sergjio also provided us with plenty of local recommendations for food and activities, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Finally, after our stay, he made checkout incredibly easy. We were absolutely blown away by Sergjio's hospitality, and will definitely be back in the future!

Staying in this beautiful cabin was a dream. Tucked away in nature, it gave me the peace and clarity I was searching for. The cabin itself is cozy, clean, and thoughtfully set up—perfect for a quiet solo escape. I spent time walking the trail on the property, surrounded by trees and it felt like a little piece of magic. Ariana is a truly special host—warm, generous, and living a life that is deeply inspiring. She welcomed me into her home with kindness and even invited me to join her and her family for dinner, which made the experience feel so personal and meaningful. The animals on the farm are so well cared for, and it was such a joy to spend time with them—feeding baby goats, playing with the cats, and just being in that slow, intentional rhythm of life. This was my first solo trip, but definitely not my last—and I know I’ll return here again. It was everything I didn’t know I needed!

We were in love with this place before we even arrived. Tom was so friendly and communicative days before we set out for Vermont, that it made our check-in seamless. The guest house is amazing. The attention to detail is incredible- Tom and Karen made sure that everything was just right. Cozy robes in the closet, comfy beds with sumptuous bedding, board games, lots of nooks to settle in with a book, a stocked kitchen... perfection! And the setting... WOW! Stunning views and such a peaceful and beautiful setting. We had access to the farm and could walk and explore. I cannot wait to return! It must be incredible in the fall!!

Christine was a great host and her place was homey and well-maintained. We had everything we needed and loved that there was a kitchenette even though we didn't end up cooking anything. I would definitely stay here again.
