Tutto ok. Siamo stati accolti da una persona gentilissima. Il camino all’interno della casa è un qualcosa di eccezionale. La casa è davvero calda.

Appartamento ampio e spazioso. Parcheggio privato comodo e recintato. Host disponibile e sempre reattivo. Unica pecca c’era qualche piccola disattenzione nella pulizia della cucina. I materassi non comodissimi un po’ datati specialmente i singoli

Great host! She welcomed us warmly and showed us the property. The swimming pool is kinda panoramic and quite big. We could also do barbecue in the evening :) Dogs are allowed in and this is a plus

Stayed 3 nights at Rita's during a cold/rainy spell but was still able to explore the area and had a amazing time. Apartment is centrally located so able to easily drive to must see spots. Be sure to hike to Rocca Calascio. Rita's recommends for food and shopping in Santo Stefano is good. Enjoy this beautiful place. Rita is also a lovely person to visit with. Grazie Clay and Chris

This home is a genuine historic Italian home. It was a peaceful adventure. We walked and hiked everywhere, there are many well traveled and marked hiking trails into the mountains. You hear nature around you and have the most gorgeous view. The house is extremely cozy and has many features that are full of character. We made homemade meals from the abundant fruits, veggies, and nuts around the property. If you are looking to step into a storybook back in time with cobbled streets and historic buildings, this is the place. One needs to have a sense of adventure to fully appreciate this property. We took in the most gorgeous sunsets from the top yard. We hiked and explored the most beautiful and unexpected landscapes. No need to walk far, the town itself is a wonder. Go see Gabriella at the Taverna. She will cook you the most delicious meal and make you feel right at home. This property is truly a cozy home. If you are wanting to rejuvenate your tired soul, this place will do it.

Sono stato al Casone per la mia festa di laurea ed è stata la scelta migliore che potessi fare. Lorenzo si è dimostrato gentile e super disponibile nel venire incontro alle mie richieste. ottima ricettività per la personalizzazione del soggiorno quindi. Il casone poi offre tutto ciò che serve per organizzare tavolate numerose in quanto dispone di una cucina con stoviglie annesse che potrebbe servire un ristorante neanche tanto piccolo. decine di giochi da tavolo e un biliardino hanno animato la serata. pulizia impeccabile. tornerò di sicuro.

wir könnten sehr spontan buchen und einchecken. Antonio hat sehr schnell geantwortet. wir sind mit den Rädern unterwegs und unserem Hund. aufgrund der Kälte sind wir in die Unterkunft, die direkt am Appennino-Radweg liegt. Der Supermarkt ist auch per Rad 4km weiter gut erreichbar und im Dorf gibt es einen Minimarkt mit frischem Brot. Die Bar ist auch sehr gemütlich und schafft eine schöne Atmosphäre. wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und uns gut aufgewärmt:-) Die Mama Angela, war auch jederzeit ansprechbar, wenn man was braucht.

My partner and I came here as nature tourists after I visited and fell in love with Pettorano sul Gizio during a work trip in May 2023. The accommodation itself was clean and homely, and the views spectacular. We spent a lot of time sitting on the living room balcony watching the birds, and even a wild boar family on the last night! If we were at the accommodation we were probably on the balcony, and we got up at 5am some days to enjoy the dawn chorus. The beauty of this place and its abundance of wildlife cannot be overstated. The town itself is beautiful and we enjoyed the local food and drink on offer from the nearby shop and café. There are many walks to do in the area and local towns to explore. The place was a home away from home and we are sure to return!

The apartment is in a beautiful and peaceful location, and is easy to find. It’s spacious, comfortable and well-equipped, and the view from the terrace over the lake is just stunning. Antonella and Dario are exceptional hosts, responding to messages and fixing any problems almost instantly. They definitely went above and beyond to make our stay really comfortable.

L’alloggio di Efisio é dotato di tutto il necessario per il soggiorno, ampio e pulito. Il giardino molto grande e curato, il nostro cane si è potuto godere in libertà il grande spazio. Dalla casa si sente il ruscello che scorre. Ottimo posto per staccare dal caos della città. Abbiamo conosciuto Efisio e i suoi genitori, persone molto gentili ed accoglienti. Efisio è stato un host sempre disponibile, risponde sempre e velocemente ai messaggi, ci è venuto in contro per tutte le nostre esigenze, ci ha fornito indicazioni molto utili sui dintorni da visitare, flessibile con gli orari di check-in e check-out. Per il self check-in grazie alle indicazioni precise fornite da Efisio in precedenza non abbiamo avuto alcun problema. Consiglio a tutti l’alloggio di Efisio! Noi speriamo di avere la possibilità di tornare!

Lovely peaceful setting with great pool and terrace area provided everything we needed for a home from home holiday. The only negative thing was a lack of microwave. The house was well stocked with things like toilet rolls and cleaning products and we were given a lovely welcome basket of locally produced food items, wine and beers and even a delicious cake made by the host. During our stay we needed to contact the host and they responded quickly. The gardens were very well maintained and totally private with automatic gates. The road leading up to the house is very steep so a powerful car is needed but all in all we had a great holiday.

We had such an amazing time staying here. Language was a small barrier, as we are English, but any queries or questions we had was followed up quickly by another member of the family who did speak English. Nothing was too much trouble. The setting is gorgeous, quiet and so relaxing. The pool was an added bonus for us! Surrounded by countryside and spectacular views. Could not have asked for more. We would definitely return to stay again without a second thought. True Italian experience. Host invited us to pick fig’s and tomatoes grown on site and even brought my son a delicious cake for his 18th birthday! Thank you so much for making this holiday extra special for us. Such an amazing experience.

Ecessaire pour accueillir une famille avec des enfants de bas âge L hôte a été très réactif et attentionné rendant notre séjour encore plus confortable Les chambres étaient très spacieuse avec salle de bain, le tout d une propreté Impeccable La piscine, toujours bien propre était régulièrement entretenue par Claudio, yne personne très agréable et chaleureux

L’endroit est magnifique. L’appartement était très propres, bien entretenu et confortable. Les enfants ont adorés la piscine et la proximité avec les animaux.

A great place to stay, well located and walking distance to the town square and restaurants. Correspondence was great, including restaurant suggestions. The pool is excellent, photos don’t do it justice! The property was a lot bigger than expected. Only negative is that the first floor single beds aren’t singles they aren’t suitable for adults and the lift broke, which was a bit of an inconvenience for my father in law. However, the cots and bed bumpers provided for kids were good. Overall a great stay and would recommend!

Wir genossen als fünfköpfige Familie mit Kindern von 7/9/11 Jahren unsere zwei Wochen Sommerferien in vollen Zügen. Mary und John sind tolle Gastgeber vor Ort und haben uns warmherzig und wohlwollend empfangen und mit allen wichtigen Informationen bzgl. Ausflügen, Restaurants, Hausinformationen eingedeckt. Auch unsere Abreise am Vorabend war für sie kein Problem😃. Das Haus ist abgelegen und grosszügig in der Nutzung. Die Ventalitoren waren im Dauer-Einsatz…. Toller Pool, der sich selber reinigte, vor allem an den heissen Tagen haben wir das kühle Nass mehrmals genossen. Danke für diese wunderschöne Zeit in den Abruzzen! Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour. La maison est très bien équipée, propre et jolie. Seul petit bémol elle reste toutefois très isolée et les visites peuvent être rendues difficile par les distances importantes à effectuer à chaque fois. Nous recommandons le séjour !

We stayed for almost two weeks at the house, set in a stunning hillside plot overlooking Tagliacozzo. Paolo welcomed us on arrival, giving us a tour of the beautiful gardens and an overview of the house's features. Paolo and Aurora do not speak English, but with Google translate we were able to communicate very effectively. The owners live in the ground floor of the property but are not intrusive, so the place feels very private. We travelled to lots of different places in Abruzzo and Lazio, including a trip to Rome by train. The train station in Tagliacozzo is only a few minutes away and the train takes you to the centre of Rome in 1hr 20. Tagliacozzo is a lovely town. Make sure to spend some time there too, stopping for a coffee, experiencing the market day (Thursday) or walking up to the top of the hill, winding through the houses and churches built into the rock. Thank you to Paolo and Aurora for their warm hospitality (and the water, wine, eggs and grapes!)
