We had a wonderful stay at De Vrede Farm, Claudia was very accommodating and Ilzer was so friendly and clearly explained everything we needed to know about the accommodation. We loved that it was so close to the centre of town and yet the property was so big that we felt like we were far away! We did daily walks on the Krans trail and the dogs were in heaven! The bed slept like a dream and the room was lovely and spacious! Thank goodness for the mosquito net, as there were many flying around, but we didn't get bitten! Lovely experience, highly recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay with friends and family! Nice and spacious with everything you may need. All attractions are a close walk away, which is a huge added bonus.

Lovely stay at Ian's place. McGregor is a quaint little town set against beautiful nature & the cottage and fantastic garden really is a perfect example of what one can expect here

We enjoyed our stay a lot! Perfect place to have a relaxing weekend and we felt right at home on the farm. The complimentary bread, rusks and milk was a nice touch!

The house is very comfortable and perfect for a relaxing family getaway. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. The garden is secure with lovely lawns for the kids to play. Carin is very friendly and showed us around the farm. The setting is wonderfully peaceful and private. The kids loved all the animals!

Lovely renovated period home in a central location, A highlight of our stay was the fact that we had full access to the wonderful barbecue area and small pool. Egbert was an attentive and helpful host.

We absolutely loved staying at The Black House . It is everything you see and more . Els is such a great host and was there to welcome us as a family. Although we were there for a golf tournament, some of us refused to leave the home . Els has thought of everything as a just in case . We were welcomed with a light lunch of quiche , sour dough loaf , seeet treats a massive bowl of fresh fruit, milk , juice, yogurt . There was also spices , coffee, tea, breakfast cereal etc . The bathroom amenities are all of a great quality and once again Els had the just in case …. All the rooms are beautifully decorated and beds comfortable.Every room or space in the house is carefully thought of . The Black House is safe and tranquil. Els checks up regularly. I really can’t wait to go back , we thoroughly enjoyed our short break . Thank you so much Els . Definitely my no 1 Air Bnb to date .

Estelle’s place is a little slice of farm heaven. Magical for a family getaway. Beautiful gardens, and friendly service, and lots of farm animal interactions made for a peaceful and fun loving family holiday. This is a place for those looking to escape to wide open spaces, and switch off. While still being close enough to the little town of Greyton to enjoy some low key shopping, and characterful restaurants.

We had a lovely stay, and Jurie & Veronica took care of all the little details yiu can think off to make your stsy as comfortable as possible. A little gem in Greyton we can definitely recommend.

I hesitate to write an honest review because I want to keep this gem a secret ;) The cabin has everything you need and nothing more. And there wasn’t another soul the entire time we were there! Dan was accessible if we needed anything but the cabin really is equipped with all that one could need. Our dog and toddler had the best time running around without a care in the world! We will definitely be back to this beautiful spot! If your ideal getaway involves lots of peaceful nature then this is definitely the place for you!

The Pines is a wonderful venue for a breakaway with a group of friends or family. The old farm-style homestead is in impeccable condition, with the trappings you expect from a much more modern house. Everything was spotless, from the bedroom linens and towels, to the well equipped kitchen, and the outside area. The weather was fantastic, so most time was spent in and around the pool, on the tennis court, and in the cool quiet of the house. Do: 1. spend an early morning with fresh coffee on the stoep, waiting for the sun to start painting the glorious mountains right in front of you; 2. make communal meals and eat under the ancient trees in the afternoon and at the huge dining room table in the evenings, where our stories mingled with those that had come before us; 3. bring your - well behaved - furry friends, they will get as much from the large expanse of lawn and, since the property is fully fenced, the can explore as much as they want to; and 4. braai next to the pool. Enjoy!

As per my first visit to Lucky Crane Villas on my birthday in November, this visit was again spectacular. The interior aesthetics of Monika's design, the total comfort, the thoughtfully created functionality in every space, the integration with surrounding nature and the views out the windows, the private garden, and so much more - all this adds up to a truly fabulous experience. Definitely have dinner at the "The Courtyard Bistro and Theater", and breafast at "51", both must-visit destinations in their own right. We had a wonderful stay at Lonette’s place. The house is well equipped with everything you need. The aircon and pool were lovely as it was super hot! Our dog was also welcome which was an extra bonus! Lonette’s communication was excellent and check-in was easy. Thank you, Lonette!

Well managed little cottage in a beautiful garden, with all creature comforts. Looks just like advertised, and is kept very clean.

This place is a true gem – it is peaceful, relaxing, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Our dogs also had the best time playing in the dam and exploring the spacious garden. It is a place that stays in your heart forever. We can't wait to be back soon.

Our stay was wonderful. There was a well sized fenced garden perfect for our large dogs. There was a large party near by and the dirt road next to the house was a bit noisy at night. Overall, would recommend.

Jonathan and Rosie were excellent hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is new and spacious, even more so than shown on the listing. I loved the shower! It's a lovely open, uncluttered space with everything you need. We were able to take our two dogs and enjoyed walks nearby. The perfect getaway!

Such an amazing place to unwind. Absolutely loved the accomodation which is very spacious. Each room has an en-suite. 🥰 The house is clean with nice decor and white bedding & towels. Appreciated the two stoves for our big family. Also, really loved the opportunity to pick apples which the kids and adults enjoyed thoroughly. The wooden framed glass doors leads onto the large stoep, overlooking the dam which is stunning. Only downside was the crazy amount of miggies at night. But we figured out that we must close all windows and doors just before it gets dark and that helped tremendously. The beautiful lawns were amazing where kids could run and play games. The dam looked so appealing to swim in but the rocks/stones are sharp and hurt your feet so bring water shoes. That’ll help. All in all, this accomodation is really perfectly suited for a big group. It has everything you’ll need. Also, the ice machine was such a blessing. The host really thought of everything you’ll need.

Had a lovely stay here with my family. The location is extremely scenic but also an easy walk to the main town of Swellendam for restaurants and supermarkets. The outside area of this home is fantastic- the stoep and pool area are amazing for warm days as well as one day it was raining here we sat out in perfect comfort watching the storm. Inside was incredible clean and spacious- the kitchen extremely well equipped for both braais and oven/stove cooking. Lynette was a fantastic host- proactive before our stay and responsive throughout!
