Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Roanoke Island

We are repeat renters from Andy and this location as we love it so much. Being avid wildlife photographers we make frequent trips to the area and we check the availability first thing so we don’t have any issues with having a clean and perfect place to crash after a long day of capturing the local wildlife.

Beautiful house. Great sleeping areas. Kitchen and Dining room were roomy.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our group and was clean, well decorated, and ideally located. It was about a 15-20 min walk from the beach depending on which route you took and how much traffic there was crossing the main road, but this was perfect because you’re set back from the beach noise. You’re also a quick walk from the sound where you can watch the sunset. We had a really great weekend and looking forward to staying again!

Was a perfect place to stay for a wholesome Memorial Day girls weekend! We will definitely be coming back here and thank you Jay for helping us figure out the grill :)!

Beautiful well appointed home with very comfortable beds! So close to town that we walked everyday. Great dining recommendations and comfortable deck overlooking the canal. We felt very comfortable in The Captain’s House during our stay for my daughter’s wedding at Festival Park.

Great house with a huge fenced in backyard. Close to the beaches and nature preserve. Amanda was great.

My family and I were pleasantly surprised that the property was just as it was described. We looked everything about it down to the pool table. The shower was awesome, pressure and temperature of water was great.We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the sun go down. The neighborhood was quiet and very peaceful. Andy reached out to us to check on how we were doing and that meant a lot. When I message him for clarity he responded back promptly.The only thing we wished for was a tv in every room. We look forward to booking this home again in the near future. Great home.

My family and I loved the house and had a great vacation. Beach access was very close to the house and the hot tub was a great added feature.

Great location and great host!

We loved the place! Close enough to walk to several locations, but also a quick drive to a public beach access that had parking (3-5 minute drive depending on traffic). Great outdoor seating. We loved Doris (Upstairs tenant) and appreciated all of her help whenever we needed it! Would definitely book again!

This is our second time staying here and it was just as wonderful and clean as the first. It’s convenient to our family and restaurants! By far the cleanest place we’ve stayed! I love that there are snacks for guests as well as a little “coffee” bar! We are looking forward to next year!

This was my first stay through Airbnb and it was a great experience! Monica was a wonderful host. She stayed in contact with us giving us helpful directions for a smooth check in and check out. Very clean, cozy feeling space.

My partner and I spent a peaceful week in this cozy spot. Very clean and well equipped for cooking and relaxing :) We especially enjoyed hanging out on the dock by the water and eating meals in the screened-in outdoor space. The surrounding neighborhood was very friendly as well. Rob was an excellent host and addressed any and all inquiries in a timely manner. Would definitely stay here again if you're looking for a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of the more "quintessential" obx beach towns. Not a bad drive to Duck / Kitty Hawk either.

I had the best time at the cabin w 7 of my closest girlfriends for my 50th birthday.. there were lots of laughs . The house was cozy and beautifully decorated. The girls that slept upstairs kept raving about how comfortable the beds were. We had a fantastic stay and beach weekend, Taylor recommended a fantastic restaurant we went to for my birthday night as well! I would love to come back again sometime!

Peaceful & quiet location. Tracy thought of all the little things one may need while staying at the cabin. Very clean as well - great stay!

Easy to check in and very clean, looked jsut like the pictures.

If you’re looking to get away and unplug and just listen to the sound of the water and relax, this is the perfect place. it’s very remote. The view on the dock and the deck is amazing and surreal. A perfect place for a getaway to recharge. Only suggestion is to do your shopping for the house before you go to the property as it is a little distance from everything. But overall, an amazing place would definitely book again.
