Monthly Rentals in Roan Mountain

The home along the creek is very nice, it is 100 years old and one can imagine all the history gone by. We like to go down to the lower end of the property to hang out along the creek. It was very peaceful there. The weather was cold and wet, but Saturday finally got sunny:) One does not even hear the traffic going by, not that there is any. The kitchen was great for any cooking that you want to do. There is plenty of seating in the living room. The bedroom that we used the back one has a view of the creek. There are plenty of games and puzzles to keep one busy. The main road has been recently been paved and the main road into Newland is back in order as well. We didn't try the AT as it was raining, which has a trail at the end of the road that the house is on.

Amazing place out in the seclusion of the mountains loved it 110% From Pearl(the friendly fur baby) greeting us to the cozy fires by the creekside everything was awesome

My husband and some friends celebrated his birthday at Jayne’s Airbnb, and they had a wonderful time. The house was great, and Jayne was very responsive to questions. Highly recommend.

The place is absolutely as described. Gorgeous views! Stephanie was amazing and very quick to respond! The cute tiny home of the place was just as she described, make sure to read the full description, especially if you’re tall 😅 it is tight getting up to the bed but once you’re up there, it feels very roomy and comfortable! Would definitely be back in the future.
