Holiday rentals with lake access in Rives-d'Andaine

We had a great Pentecost weekend. Very quiet, very safe accommodation with children who had a good time with all the outdoor games. The adults also enjoyed the petanque court and the barbecue area. The cottage is well designed and has everything you need to have a great time with the family. Thanks to Valérie for her warm welcome

Welcome to a peaceful haven in Marjorie's apartment. The real thing is even better than the photos. Beautiful ceiling height, very feng shui. You feel as comfortable there as you do at home. Kitchen, very convenient bathroom. Situated in front of the lake. We will be happy to come back :)

Very nice duplex with a pleasant terrace, a magnificent view of the lake, private parking and close to many shops. We also enjoyed the location, the quiet and the kind attention of our host on arrival.

Fantastic place. Bigger than the pictures show. Excellent pool. Great place to visit Le Mans, Alencon, Fresnay Sur Sarthe as well as the local activities like Lake, Climbing, hiking and fishing. We had a fantastic time. English owners make the communication very convenient with my French language taking some time to get to a decent level. Very friendly people. Did not expected the dishwasher. Also the barbecue was very handy even that we did not use.

Comfortable accommodation with the ground floor including kitchen, living room and dining area. 2 comfortable bedrooms (but we were warm the first 2 nights since the temperature outside was 30 °). For both bathrooms, bathtub or shower we are used to showers but there is not. Comfortable place. Neil was very responsive following a small key issue upon arrival. La Ferrière aux Étangs may seem remote, but we visited Lisieux on the road for our arrival, Fougeres the next day then the spa of Bagnoles de l 'Orne, the Château de Falaise and its medieval festivals on Sundays before returning via the coast and Dives sur Mer and Houlgate. Very satisfied.

Great stay! The photos don't actually do the house justice. Well-decorated rooms, spacious just like the rest of the rooms. Bathroom for each bedroom which is rare. The activities at our disposal (swimming pool, ping pong, billiards) allowed us to stay on site and avoid going on the road because we only stayed 2 days so it was perfect. We chatted with the housekeeper who is also very friendly. A big thank you to Dorn also for his responsiveness. Only downside: checkout at 10am but we understand given the surface to be cleaned.

What a beautiful place in beautiful surroundings. We had such a wonderful time staying here. Edward, our host, was very welcoming of us and our four dogs. The gite was perfect, had everything we needed and was clean. The bed was comfortable, the shower was powerful, we could cook, BBQ, eat indoors or enjoy eating outdoors. Edward had even provided some wine, cheese, butter, milk, bread, jam, juice, shower gel, shampoo etc. in fact everything to get us started and more. There were plenty of good quality towels to use too and we used the sofa bed in the living area for one night for a family member and the sheets were all provided and it was comfortable. The grounds are amazing and it is so peaceful. The perfect place to relax and unwind. I cannot recommend this place enough and if Edward will host us again then we will be back!
