Beachfront holiday rental in River Tamar

Wow! Georgia's home was an absolute God sent for our family. We had a house fire and needed urgent accommodation. Georgia was so understanding and went over and beyond to help us. She was flexible with our booking and allowed us to extend our booking numerous times, due to our ever changing home repair dates. Georgia's home has a soul of its own. It was like walking into a familiar home. Everything was there, ready to unpack and go explore the beach, across the road! We are forever grateful to Georgia for going over and beyond and for sharing her gorgeous home with us. Thank you for everything Georgia x

I had a truly wonderful experience at this Airbnb. The view from the second level was breathtaking—whether it was sunrise or sunset, it felt like something out of a postcard. The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described, with great attention to detail and personalised touches. Our host was outstanding: super friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful getaway with stunning scenery and an exceptional host. I would definitely stay here again!

A gorgeous heritage home that takes you right back to colonial times, especially the setting on top of the hill and the stately bedrooms. You’ll be transported back to the 1800s! The grounds and surrounds are spectacular, alive with wildlife. Infinite peaceful walks by the beach or on the grounds, with national parks not too far away. We had a perfect 5 days here, and would love to visit again.

Beautiful little home. So cozy! Cute little kitchen with little dishwasher aswell! Was beautiful to sit on the deck in the arvo and watch the sunset! Would book again ! Donna was also always responsive !

Fantastic views of the ocean, relax & enjoy the waves no matter what the weather is doing. Huge backyard for the doggo. Easy walk to the beach.

Feel so at home at Mark's place. Second time and there will be more. A natural wonderland of protected wildlife on the short walk to the beach. Back gate into large, enclosed yard with veranda for sandy and wet dogs to dry off. Great kitchen and spacious living areas.

We had the most delightful few days staying at Tim’s house. Brilliant location - just across the road from the beach and a beautiful cafe/providore. Perfect for families, especially with young children. We loved that we couldn’t get reception easily - the perfect way to switch off and truly relax. A truly wonderful holiday Thanks so much, Tim!

Our stay at Anne’s place was amazing! Such a beautiful home, and in a stunning location! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, and Anne has been lovely to communicate with. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Quiet, peaceful and picturesque! Loved the period decor. Plenty of space, light and air! Very comfortable.

We as an extended family make this a regular family getaway. We have always had such a great time and thoroughly enjoy all the activities on offer. Some fierce 8 ball is played. Cricket and football in the huge yard. A spot of fishing nearby and swimming in the beautiful pool is always a highlight. An added bonus this year was getting a message to say we could check in early. Thank you again. The memories we get from our stay are beautiful. A trip to the Beaconsfield mine was also a highlight this year.

Loved our stay at David and Rosemary’s place. Great location on the river. Plenty of walking/cycling paths. Unit is a great plan with a large living area and kitchen. We will be back

A lovely little place. It was a perfect spot for our family of four (two young children). Backs on to the golf course. We loved watching people play. Walking distance to the water. Courtyard and grassed area were perfect for the kids to play. Peter and Zing were lovely and informative. They even gave the kids a kite to play with. A lovely stay and would recommend.

Not for everyone one but we enjoyed it. Needs a bit of work but its comfortable and has character. Unique place and great hosts

We stayed at Janmaree's house for Easter on a family trip. Everything was clean and easy to find and Janmaree was always very responsive and helpful. The view was absolutely breathtaking and we all loved sitting outside by the fire, playing a few games. Janmaree had even gone above and beyond and hid Easter eggs around the house for us - what a lovely gesture! We will absolutely stay here again in the future!

Lark's home is amazing - well appointed, stunning location right next to the beach with amazing views of Port Sorell. Excellent communication and prompt response - wouldnt hesitate to recommend the property and the host, Lark, was excellent. Would definately choose to stay again if we visit Port Sorell/Hawley Beach/Shearwater area again, Thanks for our stay Lark!
