Roberts place was a paradise. We extended our trip by 2 days because we loved it so much! Anyone would be lucky to book this place

A4x4 is defiantly required and the some parts of the road can be a little nerve racking the first couple of times. However upon arrival you will be glad you made the trip. The place is peaceful and the surroundings are beautiful and you defiantly feel like you are at one with the jungle. Jeffery was there to greet us and showed us everything we needed to know about the house and pool. As well gave us a quick tour of the fruit on the yard and said we could pick as we required. He also contacted us every other day through Air BnB messaging to see if there was anything we required. There is also a maintenance person who lives close by and was there within 5 min after we contacted Jeffery to change the propane tank when our tank had gone empty. We look forward to staying there again in the future

Alonso was a great host with a beautiful home. Such a peaceful retreat from the city and the view was to die for! Must Visit Home!

We had the MOST AMAZING STAY!! Everything was so nice and clean, the mountain is gorgeous and you can see a million stars at night. The area is safe and the caretaker, Steve is such a sweetheart! The owners and Steve went above and beyond to make sure we were all set for our stay and we absolutely loved the place, I didn’t even want to leave! This is one of the BEST places we have stayed in the entire area. The river was gorgeous and it’s right on the bus line, it was a little slice of heaven, and I hate that we only booked for one night. I just really had an amazing time at this studio! Being close to the river, with my own private stream, and in a serene, clean environment was fantastic. The easy access to the main road and bus line, while still feeling immersed in nature, was the perfect combination. It was a magical spot to watch the sunrise, and I regretted only booking for one night. Thank you Chuck, Lisa and Steve!!

Wonderful quick review

Amazing place. Jessie and his family are very friendly and helped us out a lot, we got bananas , fruits and veggies , Costa Rican food specialties for free. . We felt right at home. The place is very clean and private . Beautiful sturdy furniture. It has all that it needs. Beautiful nature around. Cozy little village with very friendly people. . Cheap taxi if you want to get to the villages around. There is a beautiful river and waterfall near by to visit . On the property there are lots of banana trees, yukka plants , coffee plants , Jessies Dad has some special bottle on the terras that he fills out regularly with honey, so Colibri birds come to eat. The little magical Colibri are everywhere such a beautiful sight. Lots of fireflies, mini pigeons, beautiful colorful birds everywhere. Pets friendly. Our pets were extremely happy. Our dog had lots of freedom in the yard . We loved our stay and when we come to Costa Rica we will definitely go back.

Very nice place, idyllically located, with a lot of privacy. Beautiful house with all facilities. Very clean. Super nice and very helpful hosts. The house has everything you could possibly need for mountain adventures, cooking at home or relaxing in the beautiful gardens. Walking distance to grocery stores, the Saturday farmers market, and bakeries. Hammocks on the porch to sit and read a book. Lots of hiking and places to explore a quick drive away. There can be a good bit of noise from the road, so bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. Israel indicated that he was looking into new windows to help insulate the bedrooms a bit from the sound. He was very kind and helpful throughout my stay.

Excellent experience with Valeria and her stay, 100% recommended, both for the house, the place, and for the service and attention we receive.

Jamie and Sonia were excellent hosts, any questions they responded right away. The house was even better in person than the pictures depicted. We stayed at the property for 24 days. Almost every day we had a troop of about 20 white faced capuchin monkeys come through the yard between the house and the beach. There were also scarlet macaws that came through almost every day. The beach was beautiful, very clean and just steps from the back door. Jose Luis, the groundskeeper who lives on the property, was great. He takes pride in keeping the property clean, he cleaned the yard twice every single day we were there. It was the most well kept yard around. There is a convenience store just down the street for whatever you need. We were looking for somewhere that was accessible to touristy places without actually being in a tourist area and we got exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks to our hosts and Jose Luis for making our trip an amazing experience!

Robert’s Casita is in a great location, about mid way between the Marino Ballena National Park (and it’s beaches) and the upper area of Uvita where the bus station, grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops and bank are located. There is also a great farmer’s market on Wednesday’s and Saturday’s within walking distance. The Casita is very comfortable and had everything that we needed. Robert is very friendly and helpful, definitely a five star host.

Rodolfo and Jessica's house is perfectly equipped; nothing is missing. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen, it has everything you need, which makes the stay even more pleasant. The garden is beautiful and the area for the night campfire is a detail that is greatly appreciated. What I liked the most was the terrace, a space of peace and tranquility where you can hear nature at its best. As for service and communication, both were excellent; they were attentive to our needs at all times. They are two very kind people and committed to customer service, lovely! Thank you for sharing your home with us and allowing us to live this pleasant experience.

Great spot to stay in a beautiful area, super sweet local family, the friendliest golden retriever ever named max who will welcome you with a smile. Simple cabin that has all that you need, hot shower, stove, fridge two bedrooms with a nice view.

Claire’s home is amazing- you are fully immersed in the magic of the rainforest! Claire is extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. Since you are in the rainforest it is worth it to know that you are about a ten minute drive or so off the main road into the forest. We saw all sorts of animals-monkeys, lizards and anteater and we even got a glimpse of an elusive wild cat one night when driving through the jungle up to her home around 1am. It was MAGICAL. Thank you so much Claire for your helpfulness and hospitality. We would definitely stay here again:)

This was a nice little house to stay in for two weeks. Very peaceful indeed. I recommend.

I cannot rave enough about Nina. If there was a such thing as Airbnb Host soulmates, Nina would be mine! She inspires me to be a better host. From the moment I booked, she volunteered so much useful information about our upcoming adventure in LA de Rivas. Days before our arrival she also reached out on her own and volunteered helpful tips and clear instructions to prepare for our arrival. While staying there, she was also extraordinarily helpful even though she wasn’t feeling 100%. I told her I can’t even imagine how good you are at 100% because she was already the best host I’ve ever experienced at an Airbnb. The house is adorable and full of so much great energy. All the little extra touches are so appreciated. It is well stocked with all the supplies you would want, including extras that she included to make you feel right at home, and to make the stay even smoother and more comfortable. We had 5 full days there and could’ve used more, as the area is so dense with beautiful nature
