Medieval Tower House in the Historic Center

Discover the charm of an 11th-century medieval tower, completely original from the period, in the heart of Lucca. Once home to the architects of the Cathedral and later to the bell-ringer, it stands at the foot of the bell tower — but the bells never ring, ensuring peace and restful sleep. Original furnishings, air conditioning, fast Wi-Fi, quality linens, views of the Cathedral and city walls, a small outdoor space, large handcrafted Italian beds, and private parking in front of the house.

Church of the Vaioni

An ancient deconsecrated church dating back to the early 1900s, originally built as a private chapel of Villa Philipson. Chiesino Dei Vaioni has a loft structure with two double bedrooms on two separate mezzanines. Outside, there is a kitchen with a wood-burning oven, private gardens with a tree-lined avenue and an olive grove. The gates and internal stairs were built by the Antica Fonderia Michelucci. Chiesino Dei Vaioni is immersed in the Tuscan countryside just minutes from the city.

The Blacksmith's Shop

"Ancient blacksmith's workshop dating back to the late 1700s, nestled at the foot of the Tuscan hills. An ideal retreat for those seeking peace and authenticity, yet also a perfect base for experiencing the events of Lucca and Pisa (Puccini Festival, Lucca Comics, Luminara, etc.). The recent renovation has restored the Blacksmith's Workshop to its original charm while making it cozy and functional. Charming rustic located on top of a private hill, complete remodeled in 2023 with private infinity pool surrounded by nature. The farmhouse has comfortable outdoor spaces where you can eat and relax in front of a breathtaking view. The whole house is equipped with air conditioning and each bedroom has a private bathroom. We charge an additional cost of 30€ per day for utilities to be paid at check in.
