“Our hosts were nice and polite and the place was about 5 minutes drive to the nice beaches. The apartment was very well maintained, cleaned, with plenty of sunlight and air conditioning. Great indoor parking space too. We really enjoyed our stay in Sperlonga however we had no internet connection apparently due to a modem issue. Luigi gave us 10 Euros refund torwards that.”

“I booked myself a little time off to catch up in writing. This place is so charming and unique, I was thrilled with the experience. I felt at home and welcomed by both Massimiliano's family (who met me at the bus stop and walked me into the tangle of picturesque alleys) and by the community, speaking every day with the neighbors across the street and the local shop keepers. The place has a street level locking gate and a private staircase up to your lovely outdoor terrace outside the front door where I ate and did all my writing work. I always felt safe. The adorable kitchen is a little like a ship's galley and stocked with the family's own olive oil (yum!). We had a huge storm one night and the town lost power but there were plenty of candles so that was good too. The bedroom is off the main street which made it quiet at night and the bed is great for those who like max support. Being able to do laundry in the machine in the bathroom was a huge bonus too. There are two clothes lines off the patio where I hung laundry and then watched as tourists walking by stopped and took photos. Maybe my pajamas are insta-famous now. There are easy (and steep) routes down to beaches on either side of town just steps from the front gate. All in all, I adored my stay here and highly recommend it. The lack of ocean view is more than made up for by the people watching and quaint view of the main walk. I felt part of the community and only wished I could have stayed longer.”
