This was HANDS DOWN the best Airbnb experience I have ever had. This isn’t just a place to stay, it is a vacation in itself! The owners are super friendly and helpful and they LOVE children. We live in Phoenix and the kids rarely play outside due to the heat and lack of grass. My five year old grandson played outside the entire time we were there and never once asked for his tablet. When the sun came up, he would be waiting to go help feed the animals. The home and property are absolutely gorgeous and no detail has been overlooked. I have never felt so at home before. We had a graduation party for my grandson, and the owners went all out to make it a perfect memorable event. I wish I could have stayed forever. Beautiful people and beautiful home, which was spotless and had every activity you could possible want and with farm animals galore. Trust me on this: LOOK NO FURTHER. It doesn’t get any better than this

Absolutely loved Mel’s place! Beautiful area and quiet. Actually got to meet him and got a really nice tour of their farm. Funny as all get out when we turned around and we had a group of ducks following us to make sure we were on our best behavior. Definitely a place we will stay again when in the area! Thank you Mel!!

This AirBnB was a wonderful alternative to our usual hotel stay in Salmon Creek (we were in for a bi-yearly 4-day event we always attend). It addressed a consistent issue we had with limited hotel parking, as there was plenty of space to accommodate our vehicles. The distance to the event was shorter, as well. For 90% of our stay, we were not at the AirBnB (the event starts very early, and ends very late). The area feels private and tranquil; I wouldn’t have minded just relaxing more there. But, it served our needs perfectly during the limited time we were on the property. Plenty of space, three sleeping spots w/ one of them being private, and a kitchen well-stocked with a variety of utensils. Mary was very responsive to my questions upon arrival and for check-out. I would absolutely stay here again.

This place is beautiful, peaceful and very spacious! It has a great view and is a perfect private downstairs suite that has everything you need. The hosts were very friendly and gracious and their home is welcoming and situated on a hill with a great view! We would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful night watching a movie on DVD and drinking tea with snacks that the owners of this place thoughtfully prepared for us. In the morning, Krista’s dad and we went to feed the deer, at the same time listening to a wonderful story about how this place was built, her dad is a real jack of all trades. We were also shown the local animals such as alpacas, goats, chickens and dogs. We were treated to fresh eggs that were incredibly tasty and I was even given some lavender to take home, which was just incredibly sweet of Krista’s parents. I highly recommend this experience, which we will remember with warmth!
