The place was great; absolutely perfect for our family of 4! Everything was exactly as expected with great recommendations. If the opportunity comes up we’ll be back for sure!

We had a wonderful stay at Jennifer’s place. It is truly a special spot; private with beautiful Driftless scenery. The beds were comfy, kitchen was functional, and the hot tub and outdoor shower were perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. We had a lovely time watching the deer and junior woodchucks, and listening to the birds: so many birds up here on the hill! Would love to stay here again.

My two best friends and I stayed at the fabulous Refugio Graziella for a relaxing girls’ weekend and it. was. perfect. Most of the weekend was spent lounging and chatting in all the many wonderful spaces the home offers: sipping coffee on the peaceful screened-in porch, relaxing in the hot tub, roasting marshmallows at the serene fire pit under the string lights with ample firewood and supplies, doing crafts and playing games at the inviting dining room table, cooking meals in the fully equipped kitchen, and listening to music in the cozy living room. We did not end up using the sauna (just didn’t have time), but are already planning a winter getaway to RG. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it if you are looking for a quiet getaway, surrounded by nature but still a short drive away from anything you need or want. Clearly, so much thought was put into anticipating the needs of their guests, and that makes Refugio Graziella a place you immediately feel comfortable. 🥰

I had a great stay at this cozy cabin! The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. The host was very kind and welcoming, always quick to respond and happy to help with anything I needed. I would definitely stay here again!

The perfect weekend getaway! They set the cabin up with everything you would need to be entertained or find adventures around the area! The cabin was extremely clean, and the property was beautiful! The hosts were responsive to questions! Will definitely be back.

Wonderful small house to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. It is out in the country, so be prepared to bring items. I stayed at a perfect time. I was amazed that there were very few insects! The house was set back from the road, which isn’t very busy and has a low speed limit of 25mph. The ladder may be hard for some people to climb. Everything was in order, as described. A perfect host! Very proactive and helpful! The community is very close knit and very friendly! I did lock myself out a few times. The door locks behind you. Overall, this is one of my favorite places to visit. Just keep in mind, this is a little like “glamping” for those who are used to the city life. Enjoy the peace and quiet! :)

We loved our getaway at this sweet cabin. it was the most kid friendly air BNB we have ever stayed at: the perfect blend of serenity and flexibility, toys and games and plastic cups, clear expectations about what is available and what is off limits, lovely decorations and not over the top or breakable, space for kiddos and for grownups. not super sound proof but nothing a white noise machine can't solve. and the best part was the opportunity to explore the woods and trails and the creek! for hours of screen free entertainment. highly recommend!

Really wonderful place! Even prettier than the pictures. Lovely views from the porch, where we ate dinner and watched as deer popped in and out of the woods. The kitchen is fully equipped and even has a dishwasher. The hosts were great and very communicative. The only thing to be aware of--and the owners are very up front about this in their description--is that the ladder up to the sleeping loft really is not for everyone. The pull-out sofa downstairs is a comfortable alternative for those who are wimpy about heights :-)

Fantastic house. Very private and peaceful. Owners were very responsive and answered any questions we had. Very friendly and recommended places to hike or see. Highly recommend this rental if you are looking to get away and recharge. Sheep are a bonus.

I can't overstate how much we enjoyed this cabin. We decided to have a private few days away after our wedding on June 14 before we go on our big honeymoon in August, and we couldn't have picked a better spot. The cabin was so cozy and peaceful with many charming wildlife visitors, tons to do both in the cabin (so many games!) and in the nearby towns, and everything we needed to be comfortable for our stay (shout out to the bug bucket - if you need bug spray they've got you covered). It was great that we didn't even have to leave the property to go on walks and get a taste of nature, with lots of trails just steps away and the beautiful river just across the road. Lastly, David and Vicki were the loveliest people and we appreciated their easy communication and flexibility. Highly highly recommend!

So you want some peace and relaxation? Stop looking and book this cabin. Everything is exactly as described and shown in the photos. The drive to the cabin had me so happy with its beauty and then I pulled up to the cabin and just wow. It did not disappoint. I immediately texted Kara to let her know I was in heaven. The lovely welcome gifts were such a thoughtful touch. The instructions for the house along with nearby recommendations was emailed to me but there was also a copy right as you walked in if you needed it which was great! The suggestions she gave were perfect! The town we went to was only 15 minutes away and had pubs, a diner with a GREAT breakfast, grocery stores and an awesome ice cream shop. On the last day there we took the walk to the Mt Zion Pub. Be aware it’s mostly on a gravel road with some good hills. About 2.2 miles and the burger at the pub was earned and GOOD! Great cabin. Peaceful and gorgeous. Mental Reset achieved!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at River’s Edge cabin which was spotless and well equipped. We were comfortable there and especially appreciated the surrounding property, trees, and solitude. We enjoyed breakfast on the porch most mornings - the rocking chairs with comfy cushions and blankets were a wonderful touch! The cabin is about 15 minutes from the town of Viroqua that had a good selection of restaurants, unique shops, and even grocery stores. There are also a couple of restaurants really close to the cabin. Communication was excellent, anytime we had a question or needed anything the host was quick to respond and always willing to help.

We loved this ideal hideaway in Hillsboro- Rebel communicated so easily and promptly and the property was exactly as it’s pictured. Sparkling clean, peaceful, perfect for a cozy getaway. Can’t wait to return!

This cabin is one of the best we have stayed. plenty of room to move about, clean running water, just the right amenities needed. The views outside the cabin was beautiful every direction. Loved the little extras this cabin offered. This cabin would be great any season as it is set up for your comfort. When the sun goes down, the porch lights come on giving such warm invitation to stay out a little longer. We enjoyed hiking close by forests too and stopped at a local ice cream shop. Loved our stay and would do it again!

There was an issue with severe weather on the way to the cabin and Missy went above and beyond to accommodate a need that made my visit a success. Her help was integral in ensuring a wonderful long weekend trip.

It's a nice little cabin that is clean and stocked with firewood. The surroundings are picturesque and the drive there was really something.

The cabin was beautiful and the location was amazing. It was really nice to see the bison walking around near the cabin and we were also able to have a really fun campfire outside in the fire pit. Also there was a gas grill where we could do barbecue. We had a really nice time and it was really clean and comfortable and cozy.

House itself its very clean and well finished, pretty much everything that you need its in there! And host is taking care of everything above and beyond! Can’t wait to visit again! My family and I stayed at the Driftless Escape Cabin and had a wonderful time! The interior was even more beautiful in person with plenty of space for my whole family. The Kitchen was well stocked, the beds were very comfy and they had everything you needed. The property was gorgeous with lots of open space and amazing views. We loved playing in the yard and s’mores by the fire. And even though the cabin is close to town, we still felt like we were miles away in nature and truly disconnected!!

Julie’s place is a perfect getaway in the woods. Furniture is comfortable, the cabin is beautiful. The porch was fantastic for sitting and listening to the radio in the evening.

We loved staying at Molly and Brian’s cabin. It was so adorable and had everything we needed. Such a lovely setting and nice design of the cabin. Had so different outside sitting areas— on the front porch, in the back a screened in porch, a picnic table on the side and a fire pit near the woods. Nicely stocked kitchen with all the appliances and cookware we needed to make a nice meal. The beds were very comfortable and the whole place was extremely clean! Molly and Brian responded quickly to all our questions and were kind and helpful. We would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again!
