Absolutely gorgeous cabin on a peninsula into the river, surrounded on three sides by water! One of the most tranquil places we have stayed, with all the amenities you could need. The kayaks/canoes were lovely and Susan provided so many other little touches we never knew we needed! Another plus to the rustic cabin is the built-in easy-to-use sound system which made for great memories singing songs together while cooking dinner etc. Would highly recommend a stay here to anyone planning a visit to Eagle River or the Northwoods of Wisconsin!

This location was perfect for our getaway. The house had everything and more - from kitchen items, bathroom items, and entertainment/ games. The house felt very cozy and comfortable.

This apartment is so lovely, comfortable and peaceful. It was spotless and had everything we needed. It was so nice to go “home” at the end of each day. And as wonderful as the apartment was, John and Patti are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. So warm and friendly. Just great people. Most of the apartment has been recently remodeled & tastefully decorated with eclectic tables & lamps, thoughtfully selected artwork, mostly nature themes, some watercolors painted by one of the hosts. Nice homey touches throughout making for a pleasant stay when indoors. TV has been upgraded to a small flat screen (not shown in pictures). DVD is a regular, not Blu-ray player. It worked for us. Beds were comfortable firm. We slept well. Kitchen had most everything you need for meal making. Kitchen towels, scrubbie, dish soap & hand soap were supplied. No blender but plenty of pots, pans, bowls & dishes. One hand towel in the bathroom, otherwise bring your own bath towels. Hand soap only provided Beautiful view of the lake. Loons present every day. Boat landing is a few minutes' drive around the lake. Only drawback for some may be the length of stairs leading from the duplex down to the lake. There is a railing, but the stairs may be harder for anyone with knee issues or older folks.

The AC in the bedroom was great, as "fall" was still quite warm. All in all, Jhen was a pleasure to deal with, and this home was a wonderful place to stay!

This was our 3rd trip to Jolynne’s place and we can’t wait to go again! It’s a beautiful property and perfect for a relaxing weekend.

Rich and Kitty have a wonderful place on Anvil Lake. It’s quiet, peaceful and beautiful. A great place to get away and you’re only 15 minutes away from downtown Eagle River.

We stayed here for a fishing weekend and the place was exactly what we were looking for. Loved the cabin and also the paddle boat. Janna the host was always available for any questions.

Perfect up North getaway. From the moment we checked in to the moment we left, Dan’s communication was excellent and the logistics were seamless. Tons of space for sleeping and lots of amenities, I can’t think of any way to make this cabin better. Dan provided lots of tips and suggestions to make this trip memorable.

Classic Wisconsin cabin on a relatively quiet lake and with an incredible view. We especially love that the entire property is forested. It’s a simple place which is exactly what we want when retreating to the Northwoods.

Loved our last minute weekend stay. Michelle responded to my questions before we booked super fast and was super helpful. Lots of fresh snow to add to the ambiance this weekend. Super cute and super clean place with everything you need! Love the style of the cabin and it was well stocked with kitchen utensils, towels and paper products. Tilted Loon nearby was delicious with super nice staff! Perfect place to just get some R&R.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful cabin on the lake! The home was spotless and fit our family perfectly. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The host went above and beyond with communication, making everything seamless and welcoming. You can tell they truly care about their guests’ experience.
