Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Reston

Wow, gorgeous home, back yard and patio. The pictures don’t lie! Both Elena and Dory are so very friendly and the response times were excellent. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and Elena let us borrow a cooler for tailgating (it’s a perfect place to stay for the nearby Wolftrap). We will return to this place again! Side note: The wine outlet on Walker Rd has a very knowledgeable and friendly manager.

Nice place in a quiet location. Very clean. It is a basement apartment so if you are sensitive to footsteps above, this may not be for you. But if that’s not an issue, it’s a good place to stay.

This was a lovely home to stay at during our weekend away from the city. It was clean, roomy and beautiful! Fred made our stay super comfortable and was very communicative during our stay. We would come here again next time we’re in Virginia! Definitely book a stay here if you’re in the area!

Overall we had a great stay - however, the sleeping arrangement for the 3rd and 4th person was not up to the mark. The pull out in the drawing area, which doubled up as the bed, wasn't roomy enough for 2 adults. Wifi logging in took sometime - Kelly was prompt in resolving this issue. A dishwasher would have been welcome. We would conclude by saying that it was a very comfortable stay and thanks Kelly for the thoughtful supply of coffee, dish wash liquid, and fabric detergent liquid.

David was a great host. While staying, we did not have any issues. As he mentioned, it was a duplex, but you do get one private parking and there are plenty of parking around the neighborhood. Three bedrooms have nice beds and nice renovated bathrooms.

We loved staying at this house for a long weekend. I have a toddler, and she was very happy to play in the garden or in the room with the bunk bed that had some extra toys. It was a comfortable place with great air conditioning. We loved the extra amenities of the massage chair and game room for the adults too!

This is a great place to stay and tour the DC Metro area - provided you have a car. Most days it would take us 30 minutes to get to and from DC though if we hit rush-hour, it was as long as an hour. The space is tidy and great. My kids love the pool, though it was a little cold for me-they swam there every night. Jennifer is great to communicate if you have any needs she gets stuff done right away. Note that there is only one bathroom, which can be a pain if you have a full house of six people. The washer and dryer are small so it will take you longer if you’re used to a full size. She had all the cooking methods and appliances available. The theater room has Netflix and Amazon prime ready for you to watch a show. There is even a popcorn maker. We did not use the gym, but it was nice - comparable to a small hotel gym. Property is in the owner’s basement, so there is some sound from upstairs as identified in the listing. Host stays out of your way but is there if you need anything.

Loved our stay at Kristy and Byron's home! Very convenient for a wedding weekend in Leesburg, and the barn is located on a beautiful property, complete with friendly, social horses. Completely agree with other reviews that the unit is spacious, updated, and there is no scent from the barn below. Kristy and Byron were available to help with anything we needed, but we had no issues at all while there, and we got in late so we appreciated the snacks and welcome message left for us. Highly recommend, and will definitely book again when we come back to Leesburg!

Stayed at Erin’s place for a night and wish it was longer! The room is steps away from the restaurant I met with my friends at. It is situated near all that Del Ray and the rest of Alexandria has to offer. In addition, the bed was quite comfortable and the suite itself is quite luxurious.

Jenna's place was great ~ it's exactly as described. We found it peaceful & relaxing, and we liked the proximity to public transportation.

The location of the apartment is great. Close to my Firm's office at Tysons corner and walk distance to Greensboro station of silver line to DC if I need to go to the DC office. Wholefood and several restaurants just downstairs in the same complex. The 2b1b apartment was really clean and it felt welcoming. The check in instruction from the host was clear and the check in process was super smooth. Dee was super responsive and very helpful throughout the whole experience. HIGHLY recommended. I note that the hosts have another 2b2b apartment near to this one and would definitely stay again or try the other apartment hosted by the same group.

We were visiting Arlington to attend the service of our departed aunt, age 101, at Arlington National Cemetery. We loved Ginger's private and spacious apartment, and it was a perfect location for us. The kitchen is awesome and they provided all comforts needed. Great coffee! It was such a bonus to walk out the door, down a short path through the woods, and come out at an amazing, gorgeous park system. We loved walking along the trails and seeing the rose gardens. We'd love to return if we're in the area some day.

Julia was a super great host! The apartment was clean and cozy, and the porch was private and quiet. The location was nice too, with so many restaurants and little shops nearby. I 100% recommend staying here!

Our stay at Occaquan was peaceful, relaxing, and very much needed. Arriving to the parking lot was a breeze, only because if John's specific instructions to find it, that was very much appreciated after a long drive. Walking into the place, first impression, looks just like the picture. The very next thought, "how cute is this". From the beautiful window behind the couch with a lovely tree to watch birds in to the cozy feeling of being in a familiar place. This place is quiet, surrounded with beautiful historic scenery, and has many local shops and vendors to spend an afternoon exploring. We walked down to the park by the water way and learned some history while soaking up the sun and the breeze of nature. I absolutely recommend John's place for a stay. I know I will be returning for a simple, relaxing get away, once again! Thank you John for everything!

We came for a graduation and Bill’s space was perfect for what we needed: private, clean, and comfortable. He was welcoming but not intrusive, and we felt safe. We’d definitely stay again!

Exactly as advertised. Quiet and convenient.

Tucked in the heart of Bethesda with a quiet charm that somehow still feels central to everything, this stay was a gem. Getting around was a breeze—whether by foot, metro, or last-minute snack run to the 24/7 CVS or 7-Eleven. The apartment itself? Immaculate. Fully stocked with everything we could possibly need—and then some. The internet didn’t blink, the TV was streaming-ready (a blessing for our nightly Netflix ritual), and we barely had to buy a thing beyond food. Rodrigo was the kind of host you wish all hosts were—attentive, responsive, and refreshingly clear with every detail. Winston, the building manager, was also incredibly kind and helpful. Bonus points for the cozy terrace, which turned into our favorite nighttime hangout spot. All in all, one of the most exceptional Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. Would come back in a heartbeat—no hesitation, no second thoughts, just pure comfort.

Katie’s place was super convenient to walk to all the restaurants, bars, and shops. Super clean and tastefully decorated.

Great apartment! Sean’s apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is completely quiet at night and the bed is good. There is a good vibe in the neighbourhood and the apartment is less than five minutes from a Green Line metro station that will take you directly to the best art museums in the city. Sean and his co-hosts are very helpful and responsive. I hope to come back to Washington one day and if that happens, I will definitely try to book Sean’s apartment again.
