The Reed Bed

It is located 800 m from the Bazoin locks pier, where you can rent a boat, canoe, but also a bike and quadracycle... Great area for fishing and beautiful walks in the heart of the Poitevin marsh. In the village of Damvix, you will find a convenience store with lottery, tobacco and newspapers, a bakery, a butcher, delicatessen and caterer, hairdresser, pharmacy, garage, restaurants, piers... etc.

Our cottage has been sympathetically renovated and is a uniquely individual space retaining a wealth of originality, blended perfectly with a contemporary feel. We can welcome 6, with two double bedrooms and a large double sofa-bed in the galleried landing area. A spacious living area leads to a quiet outdoor patio with rural views. The grounds the cottage are located in are surrounded by a large moat which contains unprotected deep water. Unsuitable for young unsupervised children.

In the heart of the Poitevin marsh, on the immediate edge of the river, in a quiet area, the accommodation is ideally located to travel between Niort, the marsh, La Rochelle, Ile de Ré, Futuroscope, Vendée, Puy du Fou, Palmyre Zoo, Ile d'Oléron… Christelle and Jean-Michel, former boatmen guides, will be happy to introduce you to the marsh. You will have at your disposal, free of charge, a boat, a canoe and two bikes.

La petite maison du milieu is a complete, self-contained accommodation located in the middle of a group of former fishermen's huts called "Les Cénobites". It features a lawned garden, shaded terrace and pergola... From here, you have access to the Sèvre river for boat, canoe and paddle trips in the heart of the Marais Poitevin. You're close to all amenities: restaurants, supermarket, pizza shop, canoe rental, bank, municipal swimming pool, hairdresser...

In the Poitevin marsh, 10 minutes from the A83 highway and 15 minutes from the center of Fontenay-le-Conte. 45 minutes from Puy du Fou, the Vendée coast or La Rochelle. Ideally located close to Mervent Zoo and multiple cultural and leisure activities. You will find in our cottage all the comforts you need; with equipped kitchen (oven, fridge, microwave, stove)... In the 2 bedrooms, you will find a king size bed and a shower room with toilet.

Located in the heart of the Deux-Sèvres, Le Presbytère des Groseillers, is perfectly placed to radiate between Gâtine, Parthenay, Niort, the Poitevin Marsh, La Rochelle, Vendée and Puy du Fou. In addition to the surrounding countryside and L'Autize Creek, guests can enjoy on-site painting exhibitions and musical instruments (piano, guitar, percussion). Located in Bourneau (south Vendée) near the forest of Mervent / Vouvant, only 10 minutes from the motorway. The wooden cabin sleeps up to 4 people; there are 2 double beds one of which is a bunk bed. It is situated in over 8 acres of fields with 3 fishing lakes where the donkeys and sheep roam free. The panoramic roof terrace will allow you to enjoy the idyllic setting. English really spoken. Two other cabins also available.
